feeling like staying with family”
The staff take very good care of ther customers, are friendly and helpfull and feels like staying with family, the guesthouse has it's own decoration style a nice roof terrace kitchen . some small things in the building could be improved or repaired, but its ok. It is about 10 min walking to the center, supermarkets and eatingplaces are nearby. They didn't came to pick up at airport, but Uber did quick and good 275 R.

Scary ”
I can tell that the owners take pride in there hostel and want the guest to feel welcomed as we did when we arrived. I need to make a few notes for fellow backpackers. I know a lot of us are traveling on a budget and we are buying food and beverages to last as we travel. This unfortunately is not a place that you can leave anything in the refrigerator without it getting stolen. We purchased beer and brought a nice bottle of champagne to celebrate but left it to chill in the refrigerator. Unfortunately it was all stolen. As for safety. This isn’t an area of town that I would go back to. Actually I left and never came back I didn’t even ask for a refund and forfeited my next few nights. There was a party on the rooftop that by 12:30 am turned into a brawl until 2:30 am outside on the street. Another guest called it a riot. It was awful. This went on for two hours of yelling screaming punching kicking, etc. The police never came and I’m guessing our hostel never called. Until 5 am there was still drunk people in our hallway next to our door. Finally my alarm went off and they left. I walked my girlfriend to the bathroom and stayed outside the door because I wasn’t sure what to expect. Downstairs we ate dinner next to the hostel by the way the food is excellent. As we sat there we saw people running. As someone sat out front on their phone texting another individual grabbed their cellphone and ran to a car that was waiting for them on the corner and jumped in and sped off. From what I gathered this was the second time that this happened this week. Sometimes there are just bad days I hope this was the last.
