Great location, excellent rooms at a fair price. Huge party vibes right outside all night long!”
1 con for some : Long street is well known for its partying and nightlife, so if this is not your thing: beware. However if it IS your thing then don't hesitate to book as everything was great!

Clean and spacious on long street”
Mama Africa right next door.On the famous long street with lots of bars, cafes and restaurants.30 m distance to sightseeing bus main stop.15 min walk to the harbor.Superb location. However, neighbourhood bars can be noisy to sensitive ears. Spacious and modern rooms.A la carte breakfast is served in a cafe.Overall, a great choice to stay in CPT.

Spectacular views but not for light sleepers! ”
As we entered our room on the top floor, we were greeted by a spectacular view of Table Mountain! The location is perfect for shopping in some of Long Streets famously eclectic boutiques as well as a short walk from a tour booking office (also a good spot for coffee). There are also a number of vegetarian/vegan-friendly eateries close by, which is fortunate since the hotel has a limited (and I'm being kind) restaurant option that doesn't include dinner. If you can sleep through a freight train from 9:30 pm until 4am (only 2am on Sunday) this is a fantastic location! There is a backpacker hostel across the road and a number of night venues well within earshot. The plus side is you can leave your TV on all night long without disturbing fellow guests! The staff are all lovely, friendly and helpful. Taxis are readily available. If you walk the half hour trip down to the V&A, you can readily score a taxi back up to the hotel for somewhere between R60 - 80. Definitely an experience!

Poor location”
The hotel is right across from 2 nightclubs that are extremely noisy until all hours of the morning making it very tough to get a good nights sleep.

Noisy”
Whilst the hotel was decent enough, the noise was INTOLERABLE. And it lasted until 0300! Long Street is not for anyone who values a good night sleep. The breakfast was, I think, of very poor quality. The room was fine and had a big bathtub.

Pleasant stay”
I had come for work so long street is not the ideal place to stay considering the noise and party scene - the room was good and breakfast ok
