Sweet little street in District 4 ... 1/2 $ away from district 1 with grab. If you want to experience real Saigon this is good place to start. Room was nice and clean

Excellent location, friendly staff, big comfortable rooms.”
Pros: In a quiet alley removed from city noise. Lot's of great little local restaurants and cafe's in the surrounding streets. Short walk over a pretty pedestrian bridge to the tourist sites of District 1. Nice clean communal kitchen area with fridge, stovetop and microwave and water jugs. Very friendly and responsive staff dealt with any requests we had and answered messages through agoda or email quickly. (Let them know ahead if you are arriving after 10 p.m. and they will arrange for late check in, no problem.) Our room was large and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was a good size as well. Everything seems recently updated and is in good clean condition and the whole place is cleaned well every day. A pretty rooftop sitting area and free washing machine are the cherries literally on top of this wonderful guesthouse. Con: Only one was an odor that sometimes came up the bathroom drain. Staff tried to alleviate it and running the vent took the smell away. No big deal.

Away from tourist sighting area”
The location is not convenient to reach tourist sighting area. You are almost not possible to walk to District One. I was assigned to stay at ROOM No. 3 which have city view at the balcony. But, ROOM No. 3 is located at 3rd floor which is not suitable to elder tourist who have the difficulty to climbing. The locks of balcony & room door are difficulty to lock & unlock due to poor alignment between door & door frame and poor duplication of keys. The air-conditioning also not function very well in the room. But, if you wanna enjoy "local" street food, here is the choice. At the surrounding of this hotel got plenty of local cafe & street food. The only problem is local people can understand english even simple english, I gonna use my body language to order food and make payment.

Very helpful staff Quyen”
Arrived by 0600 on overnight train , expected to wait for some time but neighbor helped to call the hostel and Quyen managed to get me in early, very helpful and polite lady. Great location 10 mins walk to district 1, friendly n quiet neighborhood Will stay again
