Paradise!”
Paradise!!!! I stayed here 3 nights and loved every minute of it! The location was perfect, 14km long beach with nobody on it apart from me and the local fisherman, who are the funniest and kindest guys ever! the people in San Vicente are so sweet, everyone says hey and they are all really helpful! We got lost trying to find the hotel and a guy gave us a lift, and then another guy helped us find cigarettes and a restaurant (wouldn't accept anything in return!!). The staff at Ursula are so friendly, always smiling and so helpful. Food was also great!!! The resort itself is awesome, so easy to relax in a hammock, beach loungers or in a wooden shack! Also only a 3 minute walk from the village which was great when we wanted to get food somewhere different! I also loved the atmosphere in the resort, they had karaoke one night which was awesome, and one night the owners son got his guitar out and sang us song songs! This was my last stop in the Philippines, and was one of my favourites for sure!!! Being able to walk down a beautiful white beach and not seeing any horrible resorts or drunken idiots.......just perfect! Thanks so much to the staff here, I'll definitely be back!!!! (From Robbie, Scottish guy!)

The place to be!!!”
We spent there 12 nights and was just a little corner in a paradise. Real front beach cottages all with private bath. You can have breakfast- lunch or dinner sea front everything home made from Virginia( the chef ). I have eat the most fresh shrimp and a kind of shark with coconut milk.delicius.you can relax in a king size chaise longue with a own 14 km of sandy beach with clear water. Ursula is just 7 min to the village, where you can find the market and everything you need.Good place also for kitesurfing/ windsurfing cause the wind in afternoon have sometimes a good range ( and if you want they provide also with a tent for cheaper accommodation). Aris can also provide island hopping or to help you to rend a motorbike for the day.Just we cannot wait to go back ASAP .many thanks to Aris , Florily, Aidan ( the owners) and all the smily staff .

Lovely family owned relax resort”
The lovely big family that owns and runs the place (mom, dad, 2 boys and 2 litle twin girls) is the real gold of Ursula. Aivan, the elder son, is the bigest PR ever. Never rest in making guests feel like home, cheering them with his songs. He even came with us on the island hopping tour. Also impressive is the connection that the family shows to the nature and animals. In the day of our arrival the father let us free a small turtle that he rescued in the day before. It was a great experience. I will definetly try to come back to that long beach.

Overpriced hotel”
Rooms are very basic and bed wasn't comfortable. Walls were very thin, no hot water in the shower. The location was right to the beach but not the best part of the beach. Food wasn't that good and was very overpriced. The hotel is okay but too overpriced compared to other hotels in the area.

What you see is what you get”
My partner and I arrived a little late from Port Barton. We had the beach adjacent air conditioned room. The room is very basic. It's a bed and a bathroom. The room needed some basic repairs. The sink leaked into a bucket. I walked the beach upon arriving and was heartbroken. The beach is littered with garbage, diapers, cigarette butts and beer bottle caps. The Inn is in need of some TLC. We had some fresh fish and rice and that was good. We stayed one night and took a loss for the other three nights we had booked.

Pleasant stay at this secluded property”
Staff went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. They also prepared meals for us via request, arranged service to and from market plus our van to El Nido. This place is really secluded and would guarantee solitude to those looking for a quiet vacation.

AVOID”
Location: this place is NOT in or even close to port barton. Overland it's 1,5 hours, oversea 45 minutes. We went oversea to port barton and had to pay 1500 peso's for a private boat because there are no public boats going there. Our tricycle to the pier was 30 minutes late and the family just laughed about it when I asked. In the village is nothing except for a market. The private beach is nice but there is a lot of litter and it smells like dead fish. Staff: they are really trying and really friendly but they just don't get it. You have to ask for everything (napkins, knife, bill, transport) getting the bill ready took her 1 hour and then it turned out 300 peso's too much. She counted every drink and meal 10 or 15 peso's higher than the price on the menu. The only thing which was really nice is that they picked us up from El Nido with a minivan. It would have been almost impossible to reach this place with local transport. Restaurant: you can't call this a restaurant. It's just a hall with 6 tables and some plastic chairs. Half of the already limited menu they didn't have or it took 1 hour to get because they had to go to town to buy it. The portions are so small we always had to order twice. Food took atleast 1 hour. There is one other restaurant in walking distance which serves better food but it's quite expensive. Wifi didn't work half of the time and if it did it was a really bad connection and only in the 'restaurant'. Room: really small bed, no place to hang your towel, no trashcan, ants, mosquitos everywhere, no flush, no toiletseat, paperthin walls. Noise: they have a karaoke machine which they LOVE. They start early in the morning and it is ridiciously loud. It the early morning and evening. Loud talking, loud starting motorbikes, music, it's terrible. Price: this place is highly overpriced. middle of nowhere. Just don't.

Please, don't book the cheap bungalow ”
Well,I booked the cheap bungalow for three night. The bungalow is in front at the kitchen and beside at area full of rubbish. Obviously, the bungalow has a lot of holes and areas where insect and animals can get in. In fact, that's is what happened! I have to say,I have been moved the third day in a proper room, clean,no holes, everything was very good! So if you don't like any kind of animals don't book the cheap bungalow but the room with fan or aircon. I raccomamd the owner to collocate the rubbish somewhere alse, move the kitchen and last, make the two bungalows better because the location it really worth staying! Service is basic but always smiling and helpful!

Avoid this place ”
Terrible. We arrived and were unexpected, overcharged and very disappointed. The cottage wasn't on the beach. A dirty backdoor view of the kitchen is what was offered. Although beach was steps away, it wasn't maintained, used for fishing and the shells harvested left on the beautiful beach for a rotten smell. Toilets didn't have seat covers and showers were very dirty. There was no food, no drinks, no water to offer and rides to and from the town totalled 200PHP which was 3km or a 15 minute walk away. Total scam. There were so many ants everywhere, dirty rooms and just so many things wrong. This place should not be listed on agoda. No kayaks or boats to rent or aid in finding anything. Not welcoming and run down. Do.not.rent.

una joya por explotar”
Fantastico lugar.
