Utopia Tica Sustainable Glamping Guest house as well as an organic food service on site forest nested in the heart of the Osa Peninsula in Dos Brazos in the Puntarenas Region. Just 656 feet from the entrance to the “el tigre” trail which is one of the four entrances to the world-famous Corcovado national park, said to be the most intense biodiverse place on earth. The kitchen is equipped with fridge and oven. The sanitary consists in three showers in a “banana-circle” (the banana-circle enables the property to use shower water to water the fruit trees around it, therefore we kindly ask guests to bring biodegradable products). Three dry(compost)toilets feeds a compost which itself feeds the fruit trees. Slow internet is provided compensated with family dinners, card games and bonfires. A “swimming pool” is dug into the river for the dry season (from December until it gets flushed away as the first rain comes in the end of May) as well as a relaxing yoga, meditation and sunbathing “beach. Free coffee and tea are available all day long while fruits are offered during fruiting season.

Beautiful Jungle Experience!”
This was arguably our favorite spot in Costa Rica that we stayed! The owner, Francois, was arguably the most incredible host we’ve experienced (having stayed in 50+ hostels in multiple countries). He was welcoming, and his laid back life style made it easy to hang out and immediately feel comfortable. There is a small market down the street where you can buy food, but I’d recommend buying food in Puerto Jiminez and bringing it with you. There is a fridge, stove & sink! We truly can’t say enough good about Francois; he shared his coffee, fresh organic juices with fruit from his garden, he let us pick lemons/limes from the trees and make our own fresh squeezed lemonade, and so much more. The hiking is beautiful, and he showed us some ‘local’ hikes as well. There is also free yoga, which I did for the first time! We booked 2 nights, and ended up staying 4! The location on Maps.Me isn’t correct; when you take the shuttle (which is in front of the Hardware Store now), you’ll take it to the end of the route (Dos Brazos; ~20 minute ride). When you get out of the shuttle, you’ll face the school and the road only goes two ways (right or left). You’ll go right, and it’s about a 5 minute walk up the street! (Maps.Me has is ~1.5 miles/3 kilometers before the town). Book here; you’ll love it!
Tolle Erfahrung jederzeit wieder!!!
