Amazing views and very helpful and friendly staff. Located within town and close to bus pickup and dropoff.
I would stay here again”
The wood paneling, wood staircase, wood furniture. It was lovely. The restaurant had a nice variety of offerings and the food was good. I was in a room with a private bathroom. The only negative is that they charge an extra 5% for credit card transactions.
Central, fairly basic place to stay in Banaue”
Very close to the market and departure points of jeepneys, vans and buses. Standard fairly simple, reasonably clean but I had some cockroaches. Room quite dark, no electric sockets in the room, you need to plug in the common area. Wifi ok. Greatly helpful that you can store your luggage if going to Batad for a few days.
Very Nice Spot”
Wonderful staff, good food and very knowledgeable with the tours! (DO the trek!) Showers we’re actually pretty hot, which felt lovely after the few days of trekking and the cool evenings. Rooms can be a little warm during the day but cool down some at night. No WiFi in rooms, but it kinda works in the restaurant. (WiFi shouldn’t make or break your decision. You don’t need it all day!) Definitely recommend!
Great place in Banaue”
Perfectt place for a couple of days to explore the rice terraces and for our overnight trip to Batad. The staff were great, helped us organise and gave us plenty of local tips. Food was good and inexpensive. Views were stunning. All in all, a great place to stay.
Great Hosts and Value for Money”
The hosts were amazing in accommodating our needs and helping us around. One of the few real places that actually has a hot water option as this area can be quite cold. Its on the main street so much as it is convenient, it can be busy and noisy at night. Other than that, it was really good and enjoyed our stay here.
Overpriced, smelly, tried to rip me off at breakfast”
Came with high expectations due to a good review in Lonely Planet. However, place smelled of being old and dusty, especially the room (it was an inside room with a view of the dining room). The tour arrangment for hiking to Batad via Cambulo wasn't to convenient and they tried to rip us off at breakfast. Overpriced. Maybe if you went for a different room. But with a nice view in the centre of Banaue.
Clean hostel for one night stay after treking in the terraces. I dont think it might be comfortable enough for longer stays. The food in the restaurant was great.
the hotel is just at the center of town near the municipal hall & hospital. it's also within the terraces by the hanging bridge. there's 1 free parking outside the hotel door. lucky that we were the only ones who brought a car that time. though, it's not clear where the hotel entrance is as it's also their restaurant entrance. they also have a big shop for articrafts. the owners are friendly and food was great and affordable. we had big luggages and just asked help for their staff to carry up the stairs. our room had a common terrace fronting the street. the room was huge enough and had practical furnitures. WIFI didn't reach the second floor so i had to stay at the restaurant even after closing time. it was ok though as there's not much nuisance. i'd say this is 1 of the top places to stay at banaue. i'd surely recommend this place and restaurant. and not to mention their handicraft store of where i wanted to buy the wine stands but just didn't have the space to place them.
Very cozy and clean”
We stayed there for 3 days and 2 nights. The rooms facing the street was a bit noisy then because of an alumni celebration and parade nearby, so we requested to be transferred in a room facing the mountains. It was resolved fast and easy. It was a basic room with a bed, vanity cabinet and private comfort room. No television, but the wifi was fast. The food in their resto was i think one the best in banaue town proper. We actually ate somewhere but we came back to uyami resto because their food is still the best among the rest. The staffs are very accommodating. They even assists us on how to go around the townproper. Thank you Uyami. (from:AnneBernie)
Excellent Service and Yummy Food”
We stayed here from Dec 27-29,2018 in a couple room with queen size bed. The room was clean and just enough space to move around and settle things. Nice bathroom with hot shower. Room 206 facing the street was a bit noisy on our night, well maybe because of the alumni celebration nearby according to the people below. It was tolerable but for some people who have sleeping problems, not at all. So we requested to be transferred to a more quiet room and they act on it asap which we very much appreciated. Thank you for that. We also love their food especially their breakfast selections. Thank you Uyami Greenview Lodge and Restaurant. Worth coming back!!
The room was small but clean. Note that Uyami has a curfew at 10pm. Our stay was fine except for waking up in the middle of the night due to someone banging loudly on our wall and trying to open our door. It was a scary experience and I personally didn’t feel safe. However, we didn’t get to ask the staff the next day what could’ve happened because we were in a rush.
Great location - super friendly and helpful staff!”
Very accomdating staff. They picked us up at the drop off point after the 9 hour bus ride from Manila. They then arranged transportation for travel to/from Batad Rice Terraces. Very service oriented- very hospitable!! Pick a room away from the street side if you want to rest during the day. Otherwise great location in the center of all that Benaue has to offer!
Heart of Banaue ”
Great location and views. Decent food. Rooms are basic but just for sleeping. Good base to then visit Batad and also the Banaue rice terraces.
Banaue Stay at Uyami's Green View Lodge”
Our stay here was above expectations. The room was nice, the staff and food was excellent. The restaurant has a beautiful view and the location is also in the heart of town. We would stay here again if we re-visit.
Location & Room acceptable but avoid TOURS”
Guest house near to the tourist information centre and centrally located . Do not book any tours from the centre or the guy pick you up from the bus station. It is a scam . Get a map and info from the tourist information centre.
Location is great. We are a family with 5 Adults. Booked with 3 double beds. View from their Restaurant is SuperB. Overlooking from Rice Terraces when u wake up and before sunset. Food: Super budget friendly and yummy! Real Value for your money. Rice is cute. They use mixed rice and then add white rice. They also have a souvenir shop where you can check out magnets bags shirt etc. oh and they also sell rice. Our favorite is the black one and mixed rice(red black pink). Downside is that it’s really across the road that we can hear the noise from the room. Parentals were not happy about that. Our Family room is on the 3rd floor so not good for elderly. I’m not sure if this is Family owned, but everyone in the hotel is very nice and accommodating. But still I will highly recommend this to my friends and family!
Good budget, great view, kind staff.”
Pros: good food, great service, kind staff, close to town centre, near laundry and other shops, basic rooms, amazing view, brilliantly funny tour guides (maya and Kenny). Cons: bathrooms are very basic and semi-slow WiFi...this is me being pendantic though. Overall I would recommend this place!
When we arrived at the hotel, the lady at the front desk informed us that agoda overbooked and it was agoda's fault why we dont have a room, she wanted us to stay at the adjacent inn but we dont want to stay there..so we just asked her to refund us with our pre payment and left the hotel..we just looked for another hotel in banaue without their help..and they dont really care..very bad experience..if there were no hotels available, we will be forced to drive back home earlier than planned. I hope agoda will do something about this. The hotel never admitted that it was their fault, they kept blaming agoda for overbooking.
Amazing view of rice terraces, good views and can help with tours! Not the most social guesthouse so difficult to meet people as a solo traveller which can make tours more expensive. Also they had group tours turn up for lunch/dinner which meant it was hard to get on their wifi.
