Good value for your money”
Great location! Can walk to a great number of restaurants and bars, close to the mall. The rooms are clean, but the furniture is starting to show it's age. The restaurant offers tasty food. I recommend the french toast. They use super sized, thick cut bread. As long as you don't expect "fancy" furnishings, this is hotel good choice, I think.
Staff are very friendly and approachable they always greet and smile food are very good and definelty we my family will come back here but one thing atleast renovate and maintain some of your furniture but overall are perfect
best location hotel”
i stayed 2 days in this hotel. i think this hotel comfort and best hotel for traveler and also for family. I can swim at the pool on roof, breakfast is good. the hotel is close to LRT Quirino Ave station.
Oh it did get worse ”
If the first time waznt bad enough the second time topped it. We only stayed cause my sister already booked her room. Well the room waz just bad. I had to adjust the TV reception, the room fone waznt working, there waz a light socket just stuffed with paper, again we had no toiletries in the room lucky we had our own. The whole experience waz just painful. I would strongly advise u to go to another hotel then this one
Average but worth the price I guess”
Average but worth the price I guess Review of V Hotel Reviewed yesterday For Php2,200 per night (or cheaper at agoda or other sites), we got a Superior Queen Room. This is our second stay at V Hotel so we know that we should NOT book a standard room again. We're much comfortable because the room is way bigger. Better bathroom but still no bidet. You may request for "tabo" at the reception. The wifi is not that strong when you're at the room but pretty fast in the cafe. Basic and same silog breakfast every morning but glad that there's unlimited coffee. We had a good night sleep but the aircon cannot keep up with the heat in the afternoon. So we usually go out and come back at night. Vhotel is conveniently located, walking distance to Robinsons Mall (around 10 mins), Mcdo (10 mins), taxi is not a problem. But when I needed meds, there are no nearby Drugstore. The staff are all courteous and make up room everyday. You may request for slippers, dental kit, etc if you need.
Don't go here ”
Although it's in a good location. to moa and robinsons mall that is about all that this hotel has going for it. The staff were less then helpful , had to ask them to clean our room even though we put the door sign up. There were 3 of us in our room 2 adults and our 2yr old daughter but they only gave us 2 towels and when asked for another they proceeded to charge us for the extra. Then we wanted to take our daughter for a swim and asked where r the pool towels they said none but if u want towel have to pay for it. So it would've been extra money for everytime we went swimming. So we didn't go. As well as not going swimming, I also cancelled all my future stays here because of the staff and all the extra charges that they put on to use the facilities. Very poor effort
Overall, the service and facilities is great! But they have limited parking space. ”
I would like to commend the guard, the front desk agents and the bellboy for being friendly. Although there was a time when i requested for a glass of water, i was asked to dial the room service number. There’s nothing wrong with that, however it would have been nice if the agent went beyond her usual job for guest satisfaction. The agent could’ve dialed the number for me. As i’ve said, i don’t mind dialing the extension but it would’ve made a difference on the service. Also, i was affected by the service of the wait staff in the mezzanine. He doesn’t smile. We sat for 15 minutes waiting for him to come or to at least give us the menu but he didn’t. I approached him instead and placed our order. He served the food and left. He seems to be sad, perhaps he is going through something. I would also like to commend the front desk agent when i asked her what was the meaning of V in the V-hotel. At first she did not know but she made a way to find out. Good job!
this is the worst hotel i ever booked. the furniture was old. bed are annoyingly noisy. the staff was unfriendly i ask for an extra comforter and he ask me if we have third person in the room and if they will find out that there is 3rd person they will charge me 500 pesos. the breakfast was not a buffet as i am expecting. i should listen to the reviews before booking this hotel. i hope the management will be aware on this.
Noise from next door too much to handle.”
Although I like this hotel in general, my last stay was unbearable. I had a room facing the street and there is a disco nearby the plays loud thumbing music until 6:30 a.m. nearby. I would rather stay somewhere quiet and pay more.
The Hotel is situated near Bars and close to all the major tourist sites thats within a 4km radius. The porter was a really nice guy and always looking to assist you. Breakfast was really nice although small. The room was clean an air con, hot water, cable tv all works well. No disposible toothbrush though in the room. Nice view from the pool top but the pool doesnt look well maintained.
Had a great room on the uper floors... concidering it is the somewhat pricy Philippines (for hotel rooms) this felt like as good as it gets in this price range. Location good, rather silent and with a nice view of Manila bay. Breakfast with actually some choices was OK, but not something to write home about however. Staff in reception was a bit stiff, some better than others though. Last night I changed to a smaller room that was incredibly noisy from the entertainment at the square. Make sure u get a silent one.
Good Service and Room”
Place is great size of the room is spacious. and the services was great staff were very accommodating and friendly. Food are great serving as well or much more the we expected. over all our stay was great
staff are great 👍👍👍 love the location 💓”
the staff are real accommodating and the love the location as it is close to everything (malls, food shops and bars)
cons: aircon not to cool/cold... second extra pillow has a charge...
We booked a room with 2 adults and. 2 kids under 12, so they were free. The deal wad also to include free breakfast until we were coldly told on arrival that the breakfast was not free for the kids, and that we would have to pay for them to be provided with towels as well. Requests for towels and extra toilet paper (they gave only 1 small roll) took 2-3 requests. They have 1 very small bar of soap to be used for both the wash basin and shower. The shower had no place to put the soap or shampoo. The hotel said they have no hand towels. The wash basin.had no stopper. The lamps over the ed didn't work. Then to top it off, the night clerk saw us coming in at 11pm after going out with the kids. A few mins later he called to say that our "visitors", referring to the kids no doubt, were supposed to have left by 10pm as hotel policy,. Only 2 people per room is allowed. I had to rell him to look at our reservation & how could he be unaware that 2 children under 12 with their parents
Not as nice as in pictures”
V hotel is supposed to be a 3 stars hotel. In my opinion you should expect more of a 2 star hotel (or not even that considering I stayed in inns that were nicer than this one). While it's true that it's cheaper than other hotels in Malate you don't get value for money. First of all I feel the pictures on their site are quite misleading. I mean the rooms look much nicer than what they really are. What you really get is run down furniture (despite it being renovated), a stained sofa on which we wouldn't even put our luggages on, stained walls , a fridge that doesn't work, uncomfortable pillows and last but not least a dangerous hair dryer from which came out smoke. Also don't pay for an extra bed. Their idea of an extra bed is just a soiled mattress that they put on the floor, only covered by a thin sheet. All in all if your only concern is the price then sure go for it but if you are looking for a nice and comfortable hotel than I suggest you to look elsewhere.
I like that the hotel is accessible and has a lot of nearby dining options so you won't worry about getting hungry. i also like their hotel servce and friendly staff. the room was okay, but i would have liked it better if they put bidet in the toilet. overall, it's worth the price you paid for.
DON'T trust the photos!”
We booked this hotel because we'd been in Luzon for 5 days and still not been in a pool. The pictures showed a lovely pool, BUT IT ISN'T! It was much smaller than it looked in the pictures (I guess maybe 7x4m ish) and the water was so filthy that you couldn't even see the bottom of the pool. Very disappointing. In general the hotel was fairly cheap, and the room OK. The staff didn't really look like they wanted to be there. Not particularly helpfull. Good Wifi.
Looking back for another nights to stay”
Breakfast is what im looking forward everytime i woke up in morning. Great food to dine. And a good night sleep for a person who need a relaxation.
A good place where all is accessible, friendly staff and a nice comfy bed to sleep with
