Nost beautiful home with outstanding gardens”

Once again my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Vacy Hall. The staff are exceptionally helpful and the rooms are just devine. Everything is so clean and our room felt so private. We even brought back some friends to show them where we were staying and they all fell in love with the place. There are a choice of rooms - suites, fireplace queen rooms and then a smaller room (which is still very comfortable as we have stayed in one previously). The gardens are amazing and the lavendar was in full bloom. It was so peaceful to sit outside our room on the verandah and watch the birds enjoy the garden as well. We love Vacy Hall and cannot recommend it highly enough. If you love antiques and history, Vacy Hall is the place for you

Very Nice Stay”

We had a very nice stay at Vacy Hall. The room was lovely and the best thing was the fire place. We booked the Family room with private bathroom (only one left) and was a little surprised when private bathroom was across and down the hall. Wasn’t expecting that. Also, for the price one would expect there not to be a fire surcharge - or a lesser amount. But it was great nonetheless

we recently stayed a vacy hall for an overnight stay on our way to hervey bay. the accommodation was very comfortable and clean. close to the main shopping centre and restaurants yet in a very quiet location. we would definitely stay here again if travelling through toowoomba.

My Daughter and I stayed overnight after going to the Empire theatre it was Beautiful i was in heaven i love that era the owner and staff were very lovely and porridge just like my Nanna used to make I highly recommend this place to anyone that loves a bit of history and old world charm I will stay again some day. I am now staying here regularly. Thes is nothing of this standard elsewhere in Toowoomba. I will be back. I travel a lot and it is nice to be able to stay in a place that feels like you are back in time on a grand scale

Hidden Treasure”

What a fabulous place. We stayed in the Gilbert Cory Suite which was fantastic. Many original features, Luxurious, Romantic, and first class service. Easy walking distance to Toowoomba centre and restaurants.

A nice guesthouse with old world charm”

We really enjoyed our stay here however felt a little misled that a couple of key features were omitted from the room description such as a surcharge to light the fireplace (we had chosen a 'fireplace' room on the assumption we would use the fireplace) and that the private bathroom was not located inside the room (across the hall). None of these were major issues but quite important on an online booking site when trying to compare hotels with similar standards/rates.

Serious just go there. I travel a lot. You don't come buy places like this . Our room was spectacular with an open fire place and ensuite. The breakfast was sensational. You are welcomed by the owner and taken to your room and all the features are explained. I don't write reviews that much as I have found them to be bias. I will guarantee you will be impressed and want to return. A Big thanks to the Management and Staff five stars from my wife and myself

old world ambience”

we had a very basic room. bathroom was across the hall but this was not an issue. very clean. although all rooms in home were booked it was very quiet and we hardly saw anyone. bed was not very comfortable and tv inside cupboard was not well positioned for viewing. we were only there one night and it was a nice chance to stay in a heritage listed home. central heating & electric blankets made it cosy on a cold night. partner took some nice photos in the house and around the grounds.

A good spot to stop in you like historic places. It beats the regular hotels for style and a family type surrounding. A good spot for children but better for a get away for two. I'd stay here again and the next time I would come earlier and actually stay rather than just pass through without actually enjoying the place.

Historic Home - ”

Lovely old Home, Good Breakfast, Centrally situated but we were disappointed with our room which was classed as "Standard". Bathroom situated across the Hall. Modern, but very cold. No heating in room. Other larger rooms looked very comfortable and had Open Fires and Ensuites.

150yrs old house converted to well maintain hotel”

We enjoyed our stay at this well kept place. There is a beautifully garden in the hotel. The only inconvenient was the bathroom is not in the room, although its only across the room its cold going out to toilet at night.

Beautiful”

Gorgeous, historic place however jus a couple of small things. No way to have natural window ventilation without opening the glass door - a quirk of the building, interesting but some secure fresh air would have been nice. Bed a little hard. Private bathroom not ensuite - again another quirk of the old building but inconvenient. Otherwise lovely stay thank you.

Staff were friendly and helpful we had a lovely breakfast and the room was lovely and war and comfortable. We had a lovely stay despite the cold rainy weather.

Fantastic cottages to stay in. Clean and well presented and we will definitely stay again. Our host was so helpful with a late check in and very accommodating.
