Cheap, clean Hotel”
Basic hotel if your looking to explore. Our initial room was not good at all so I complained and the next day we were given a cleaner and bigger room. Currently they are doing some refurbishment on the 1st floor so it was very noisy in the morning when you wanted to sleep in but that work would be finished in a week so anyone else going to book should be fine. Breakfast is basic but I wasnt expecting anything wow. Overall would recommend only if you want a place to sleep in after exploring the whole day. If your looking for a hotel to relax then look somewhere away from downtown. Just travel in Uber cheap and chearful

Staff was very good. Neighborhood is a bit busy and a tiny bit sketchy but pretty safe. Room was good and everything worked fine. They are expanding the other side of the property so it’s not polished like you might hope in all areas but all in all a very good stay!

2nd time in cairo, and 2nd time in this hotel. Nothing much to add to my score review: staff is super friendly and assistive, facilities very clean and location cannot be better. I'll surely come back to Cairo and stay atDowntown again, see you soon!

Staff spoke good English, they were as helpful as possible. Room clean, and wifi good. Breakfast was freshly made, and plenty of it, - overall a great stay.
