The Apartment is located in a quiet area, in about 2 kilometers distance from the inner city. You can reach the city core in about 20 minutes, the museums at the sout in 30 minutes of walking, but I recomment taking the bus/railroad for a smoother travel experience. It's on the 4th floor, without an elevator. The apartment is big enough for 2 persons, although the bed is a bit small for 2 people that aren't a couple. It has a built in kitchen, a cozy couch and a flat screen TV to relax in the living room. The bathroom has a toilet, and a shower inside a bathtub. A big plus is the quiet atmosphere, you don't hear any sounds from the streets. The contact to the hosts was nice and friendly. You get the keys to the apartment, and after that it's just like living on your own. There's still some stuff inside the apartment, like clothes or shampoo, left by former travelers, which is kind of funny. On the negative side, there were some drawers that didnt quite work/were damaged, which could've been repaired in advance. To summarize, if you are planning a trip for 2 in Amsterdam and set value to privacy and independancy as well as silence and quietness to sleep, I can recommend this apartment.
