Business Stay at Vandervalk Hotel, Assen”

Location to business meeting, room, bed

Stayed for business Problem with hotel is past and hotel accommodation standard is okay (but not 4 Star). Before even arriving at hotel I had requested a room at other side of hotel away from noise of motorway. One request only that they could not even meet! Problem with hotel is distance of rooms from reception and mine was no exception. Ate in bar for change of scenary from restaurant and unfortunately was very disappointed with my choice: Spanish Tapas - Mixture of hot and cold (though mainly cold) and not very inspiring and certainly not what I visualise as good Spanish Tapas! Chicken Satay - Chicken baked in overpowering satay sauce which I had to scrape most off before eating! Recollection of food from previous visits is that it is very hit or miss!

Het heeft alles wat een hotel nodig heeft: goed sanitair, goede bedden. Geen herrie, dat is ook fijn.

Je kan er slapen, en dat is dan ook wat we er gedaan hebben.We kwamen aan, we gingen slapen, we gingen weer verder. en dat kon allemaal, bij het Hotel van der Valk Assen. Hoe fijn is dat?
