Amazing place to stay!”
This bungalow-like accommodation is literally right along part of the waterfall and it’s amazing to sit at breakfast and look out at the water, or go for a swim! We loved our stay here and will definitely come back!!! Bed was comfy, room was clean, grounds were beautiful with lots of flowers and foliage, and the Kuang Si waterfall entrance was only a five or seven minute walk from here. Compared to other hotels I’ve stayed at, this is not a 5-star hotel, but the location is what really makes it amazing, and that was enough for me. The staff are still accommodating to fulfill your requests or answer your questions. If you have a moto or car and stay here, I would recommend a restaurant 10 minutes away called New Gorgeous. They have AMAZING food, a cute location along the river, and the staff is very kind.

Lovely Place ”
We were so pleased with everything, check in was a breeze, the care taker showed us to our room. The premises was beautiful and we absolutely loved how gorgeous the waterfalls were that were literally at our doorstep. We even took a dip, though cold it was refreshing lol You guys I’m not kidding it looks just just like the pictures( well if you come during the right season I presume) me and my boyfriend were over joyed lol a very peaceful stay and yep it was about 9-10 minutes walking to the main attraction. The Kuang Si falls as well as the sunbear sanctuary. Staff was so nice and helped us with everything. They even have a shuttle back to luang prabang city that we utilized at check out. It was so beautiful there I can’t stress it enough.

Some rooms here have an amazing view of the waterfall. Dining area are outside exactly on the fall itself. Very peaceful vibe. Close to the elephant camp. Really value for money.

Beautiful place”
Vanvisa is what it says "at the falls". It is one of the most beautiful places on earth and worth to stay one or two nigths. As vegeterian eating is not easy and restaurants close very early there.

Amazing location”
It was everything I wanted, the location is amazing, right at a section of the falls, near a lively village, that allowed us to walk to the falls early before the crowd. The deluxe room, was right over the falls pool area, where we could watch locals kids play and sit on large veranda and just chill to the sound of the falls. This is no 5star place, it's a rustic place that takes you away from the craziness of the world. Breakfast is ok, but made extra special because of where you are. Plus got to enjoy good local food at the nearby village.

Away from hustle & bustle you can choose your own time to go to the waterfall. Staying in Vanvisa for a nite or two allows you to enjoy the beauty of the falls and its surrounding without having to rush back for transport. Pleasant staff to attend to your needs, though breakfast is basic you can relax & enjoy the beauty of the falls while eating. Stay here & you can truly enjoy a relaxing time in the pool especially after a great climb to the top, an experience to remember.

Very attractive location, on top of beautiful water cascades, but it is kind of noisy. Not only the water, but some 'drums' around 4 am, people start using some kind of motorised tools very early in the morning. One of the beds in our room was short and uneven, simply unsuitable for sleeping. Stay here for the experience, not to get good night sleep or rest.

Pros: The setting is beautiful. You get to walk to the Falls before any other tourist show up. Close to the butterfly park. Rather romantic. Cons: The stairs are treacherous, the plywood is slick as snot, the walkways are slippery. My wife went down hard on her shoulder. The picture was very deceiving. We thought we would have that double bed looking out our window at this idealick water setting., but no that wasn't what we got. They acted like they were doing us a favor by putting us up in the triple room with a queen and two singles. The Queen bed was sooooo Hard, at 1:00 in the morning we each moved to a single bed and slept alone. Some kind of spiders in the ceiling building a nest were dropping things down on the bed and in my wife's hair. The breakfast was mediocre.

Nice rooms, great view, away from other restaurants”
We spend 3 nights in the hotel. We enjoyed the peaceful environment. We had the waterfall often for ourselves. The hotel doesn't offer wifi. In the evening no other restaurant is open! Unfortunately even the hotel restaurant was closed without notice on one evening. Shuttle is between 10 000 to 20000 kip to luang prabang. Super friendly personal!!

Water straight from the falls, not regular water. ”
This place is majestic but it is really an adventure haflway into the forest. situated right by the lower end of the falls, it's swimming pools and lap pools are literally the waterfalls. however, you will not be provided with air conditioning, your night will be punctuated with loud insect calls and the you will not feel clean despite many many showers because the water they use for the shower seems to be from the falls directly. hair and skin continue to feel sticky.

The most attracting point is located at waterfall, relaxing enjoy the meal next to waterfall, 5 minutes walking to Guang Si Waterfall entrance, lots food along the main street, just don't come too late, most restaurant closed night time, however, few convenient store and BBQ stall operating at night.

The location is everything！”
I really enjoyed the two nights there with such beautiful views！You can swim in their personal waterfall and be chill for the unquiet moment！ I think their waterfall is better than Kuong Si waterfall！Less perdons and free for you all the time！ But it's a little boring at night time if you come alone. After 8pm you cant find anything to eat. And the staffs there csnnot speak english！But it still worth staying！

Nice place to stay for a night or two. Nice older lady who I guess is the owner and speaks good English. She was very helpful with tour advice. Was pretty ‘cool’ during my stay and even with 2 quilts we were still cold at night. Recommended due to friendly owner and location.

Waterfalls at doorstep”
The accommodation is uniquely located in the midst of a downstream section of Kuang Si Waterfalls and lush greenery. While enjoying the tranquility the place offers, we get to see village kids frolicking in the waters. However, the forest-like surrounding invites Tokay Gecko, a reptile, that croaks like a radio broadcast and disturbed our sleep at night.

There aren't much to do there besides the waterfalls. At night after 7pm, the whole place outside the guesthouse is quiet and the whole town 'sleeps'. Perhaps good to star-gaze since its dark everywhere.

Not bad and is cheap. So, would not complain. You pay for what you get? Pros: Studio and balcony. No air-con but has a fan in the room. Breakfast included. Nothing fancy for the breakfast but satisfactory. A few minutes walk to the waterfalls. Eating areas in the vicinity and nearby. Cons: Shower hose knitted and not on a holder due to the hot water tank being placed above bath tub. So, difficullty in getting a good flow of water. Issue with the waste pipe as foul smell coming out from them. Otherwise, a great stay!
