A comfortable hotel”
The hotel is located right on the beach. The pool is small but certainly acceptable for kids. The staff were all very helpful. The rooms were comfortable with good AC and were clean. The hotel is a little over priced compared to similar standard hotels, but is a very good choice for a short stay. The kids will love the pool and the beach access.
Each room has different decoration. Our room is Indian style villa, which is also nice. We request king bed but they said fully booked so we've got two single bed put together. Bed is comfortable. Internet signal is bad, hardly browsing anything. Small pool with lots of toys perfect for small kids not for adults. Private beach...but when I was there, the next day they gonna have some private wheel chair party so the beach full of stage setting parts. And made us hardly walk through so we didn't touch the sea here. Food is so so for both dinner and breakfast. Reception staff is very friendly and caring.
I stayed in "penthouse" for 1 night which cost equally to 5-star chained-brand hotels, but I wasn't satisfied with the overall service of this resort. First, the outdoor jacuzzi lacked of maintenance and hygiene. I spotted sand (or propably dirt) stuck on the edge of jacuzzi, and the water filled up only half of it. Moreover, the water was running very slow in both bathtub and shower. Second, the room seemed a bit rundown e.g. the curtain was torn, the decoration was worn out. Third, though i didn't use the stereo which was provided in the room, i think most people dont usually use CDs to listen to music anymore. Fourth, the breakfast was unacceptable for 5-star resort e.g. pancake was cold and smelled bad. Strongly wouldn't recommend this to anyone who expects 5-star service
Relaxed and comfortable ”
Close to two national parks and directly by the sea. Beutiful beach, nice for walking and barbecue. Swimming not recommended, we saw several large jellyfish washed up on the beach and one of us got stung. Relaxed atmosphere. Great staff. This is a part of Thailand that is not seen by many western people, definitely worth a visit.
A good get away”
The staff is very friendly and welcoming, taking care of all your needs. The cleanness as far as the hotel goes is fine. The beach gets some trash from the tides. A pool is small and shallow, can't really swim there unless you are a child.
A nice place to stay”
It was a very nice and lovely place to stay. The location of the hotel is very good. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of varieties. The service was very nice. Staffs were very helpful. From the hotel can access direct to the beach and it was very clean. When we arrived to the room, they presented us with a complimentary delicious banana cake. There were many facilities for the guests. My son enjoyed a lot at the beach
Small unique resort”
Rooms are decorated in theme. They provide coconut cake as welcome dessert in the room which is very nice. Staffs are very nice and attentive. Pool is right in front of beach but very small. When we were there, a big family with kids were occupying the pool so we didn't have a chance to use it.
Off the beaten path Boutique Hotel”
About 3 hours from Bangkok this hotel is ideally suited for those visiting Kui Buri National Park which was our plan. Hotel is very nice, tucked away from it all however do expect that you will be eating there most of the time as nothing else is very close. Buffet breakfast was very nice, pool leaves some to be desired but adequate for children or a quick swim. Beach location is quiet and nice for evening walks. Hotel had issues with Hot water and low water pressure, but I would imagine this is fixed by now Rooms are modern style, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. We stayed in the executive suite however do note that only two of them have the jacuzzi bathroom as pictured on Agoda. I was able to request this room on arrival but as the room was booked I had to change on the second night of my stay. Not a huge deal as the other room had a nice view of the ocean Hotel staff were overall fantastic, personable and willing to do anything to help make your stay amazing. One of the best hotels for hospitality for sure
Bery nice getaway”
Vartika feels like an high end resort, their buildings are nice, and the room is even nicer. They located right on the beach, and the service is very good. We checked in late, so they allowed us to check out later than usual. one thing I mind, was their pool, it was the size of a footbath. So that was annyoing. But we just went in swim in the beach, which is more fun, and nice and clean.
A nice place to stay near Kuiburi”
We enjoyed our stay at the Vartika, which is a nice hotel, right on the beach. The rooms were very nice and the staff helpful. The hotel is not that geared up for small children though, but they are opening a new hotel just down the road in December/January that seems more appropriate for little kids.
AWESOME individual service. ”
AWESOME. Staff member, "Cartoon", was great. Our 3 Bedroom villa allowed lots of socialization. Breakfast and pool swimming was cool. You could keep ordering more food and coffee while swimming, then going back to eat. Great while none of our 11 persons family group was doing the same thing at the same time, but we were still all in the same area.
Cosy, comfy @ friendly atmosphere. ”
Warm greeted and welcomed awaited for us since the very first minute the car rolled in from the hotel gate staff, porter andfriendly check in was done in no time. the 3 bedrooms house made us feel homy,it was country cosy and room comfy.. Living room ratten seats was not that comfy though!! Info from the staff about attraction around the area was given excitedly and willingly with few tips. The hotel was pretty, the beach was acceptable, private, and minimum tourists. Staffs were excellent... However if there is anything to improve I will say obviously the pool is to small...that's it.
Friendly staff and Pet allowed”
I stayed with my boyfriend and my dog. The best thing about this hotel is you can bring your pet if you book a Villa room. The room is a bit smell but i don't mind as i understand that must have been many people stayed over with their pets. very comfortable bed and lovely private room with a garden for your dog... and have an access to the beach!! The beach is pretty quite but that is doesn't matter. the best thing about this hotel is that they provide a lovely breakfast! i mean yes breakfast is fantastic just like 5 stars hotel. thank you
Good breakfast, stylish designs, good rest stop”
This was a good rest stop on the way to the south. The breakfast was great, but the lunch and dinner was very bland and geared for tourists. Caught them twice trying to charge more than the menu price, which they quickly resolved. But makes you wonder why they would give a bad impression for a few extra baht. I would stay again but eat outside.
Very nice hotel in secluded location.”
The hotel is very nice but there is no entertainment in the vicinity of the hotel. So you are bound to stay at the resort and use their restaurant etc. The hotel offers very nice excursions though. Kuiburi National Park is a must!
A gem of a hotel.”
Our star discovery. We booked 2 nights, but enjoyed the hotel so much we stayed for 6. Rooms and villas are very well appointed and equipped. There's also luxurious spa and massage treatments available and reasonably priced good food, all in a relaxing setting. The staff are friendly, hospitable and helpful. We were treated to a memorable evening out to a local elephant festival and also a light tableau in Kui Buri, courtesy of the management. The hotel can be easily reached by car,bus or train to Kui Buri station where you can be picked up by pre arranged hotel transport.
Seaside small&private with service as family, but fully of facility especially spa that so great. Good taste of food both breakfast and seaside dinner.
a very friendly reception”
There was a lot to like: well appointed rooms, welcoming and attentive staff, and an uncrowded beach. Watch out for small patches of unstable sand as you wade out into the surf.
Nice hotel but a bit far”
We stayed at Chinese room and it was lovely. Seafood dinner was nice. Pool is too small and not for young kids
Quiet location and private, suitable for relax.”
Valuable the money. However there is a little bit comment on the heater which is not stable only.
