Exceptional”
The resort is beautfully landscaped with a gorgeous beach. Our room was large and comfortable. Nice restaurant with very good food and the staff was wonderful. The pool was small... good for children but not for swimming laps. Overall, very nice and I would recommend it.

A gem of a hotel.”
Our star discovery. We booked 2 nights,but enjoyed the hotel so much we stayed for 6. Rooms and villas are very well appointed and equipped. There's also luxurious spa and massage treatments available and reasonably priced good food,all in a relaxing setting. The staff are friendly,hospitable and helpful. We were treated to a memorable evening out to a local elephant festival and also a light tableau in Kui Buri,courtesy of the management. The hotel can be easily reached by car,bus or train to Kui Buri station where you can be picked up by pre arranged hotel transport.

Off the beaten path Boutique Hotel”
About 3 hours from Bangkok this hotel is ideally suited for those visiting Kui Buri National Park which was our plan. Hotel is very nice, tucked away from it all however do expect that you will be eating there most of the time as nothing else is very close. Buffet breakfast was very nice, pool leaves some to be desired but adequate for children or a quick swim. Beach location is quiet and nice for evening walks. Hotel had issues with Hot water and low water pressure, but I would imagine this is fixed by now Rooms are modern style, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. We stayed in the executive suite however do note that only two of them have the jacuzzi bathroom as pictured on Agoda. I was able to request this room on arrival but as the room was booked I had to change on the second night of my stay. Not a huge deal as the other room had a nice view of the ocean Hotel staff were overall fantastic, personable and willing to do anything to help make your stay amazing. One of the best hotels for hospitality for sure

Bery nice getaway”
Vartika feels like an high end resort, their buildings are nice, and the room is even nicer. They located right on the beach, and the service is very good. We checked in late, so they allowed us to check out later than usual. one thing I mind, was their pool, it was the size of a footbath. So that was annyoing. But we just went in swim in the beach, which is more fun, and nice and clean.

The hotel is very nice but there is no entertainment in the vicinity of the hotel. So you are bound to stay at the resort and use their restaurant etc. The hotel offers very nice excursions though. Kuiburi National Park is a must!

A nice place to stay near Kuiburi”
We enjoyed our stay at the Vartika, which is a nice hotel, right on the beach. The rooms were very nice and the staff helpful. The hotel is not that geared up for small children though, but they are opening a new hotel just down the road in December/January that seems more appropriate for little kids.

Friendly staff and Pet allowed”
I stayed with my boyfriend and my dog. The best thing about this hotel is you can bring your pet if you book a Villa room. The room is a bit smell but i don't mind as i understand that must have been many people stayed over with their pets. very comfortable bed and lovely private room with a garden for your dog... and have an access to the beach!! The beach is pretty quite but that is doesn't matter. the best thing about this hotel is that they provide a lovely breakfast! i mean yes breakfast is fantastic just like 5 stars hotel. thank you

Cosy, comfy @ friendly atmosphere. ”
Warm greeted and welcomed awaited for us since the very first minute the car rolled in from the hotel gate staff, porter andfriendly check in was done in no time. the 3 bedrooms house made us feel homy,it was country cosy and room comfy.. Living room ratten seats was not that comfy though!! Info from the staff about attraction around the area was given excitedly and willingly with few tips. The hotel was pretty, the beach was acceptable, private, and minimum tourists. Staffs were excellent... However if there is anything to improve I will say obviously the pool is to small...that's it.

It was a very nice and lovely place to stay. The location of the hotel is very good. Breakfast was excellent with a lot of varieties. The service was very nice. Staffs were very helpful. From the hotel can access direct to the beach and it was very clean. When we arrived to the room, they presented us with a complimentary delicious banana cake. There were many facilities for the guests. My son enjoyed a lot at the beach

Not bad”
Each room has different decoration. Our room is Indian style villa, which is also nice. We request king bed but they said fully booked so we've got two single bed put together. Bed is comfortable. Internet signal is bad, hardly browsing anything. Small pool with lots of toys perfect for small kids not for adults. Private beach...but when I was there, the next day they gonna have some private wheel chair party so the beach full of stage setting parts. And made us hardly walk through so we didn't touch the sea here. Food is so so for both dinner and breakfast. Reception staff is very friendly and caring.

A comfortable hotel”
The hotel is located right on the beach. The pool is small but certainly acceptable for kids. The staff were all very helpful. The rooms were comfortable with good AC and were clean. The hotel is a little over priced compared to similar standard hotels, but is a very good choice for a short stay. The kids will love the pool and the beach access.

Wow, they've just stopped caring about this hotel!”
Where do I start! When you look at the hotel on its website and promotional material, it was probably really nice at some point, but don't be fooled by them. The hotel is in a dilapidated state. They have either stopped caring about maintaining the property and rooms or they ran out of operating budget. The hotel leaves a bunch of junk on its beach and the few sun loungers, tables and chairs have probably never been cleaned. If it weren't for that junk and the rubbish from the adjacent temple under construction, the beach would be pretty nice (for a primitive natural beach). We rented the Country Villa for 3 adults and 2 kids, but seeing the state of the railing for the stairs, I wish we hadn't. The outside of the villa had barely been cleaned, the windows were dirty, there was mould all over the bathroom, there was a bunch of stains on walls, cushions, pillows, towels, bedding, you name it. The AC in the upper room was very noisy. The staff are eager to help, and some speak English, but most barely understand. When asking for a map of Sam Roi Yot National Park in English, I was given a map of Kuiburi National Park in Thai. There are plenty of Thai food options on the menu, but little else, so if you have children with limited interest in Thai food, you may need to go other resorts in the area, like their sister property. All in all, we wanted a hotel on the beach in that area where we could bring our dog, which is what we got... but this hotel is way overrated.

AWESOME individual service. ”
AWESOME. Staff member, "Cartoon", was great. Our 3 Bedroom villa allowed lots of socialization. Breakfast and pool swimming was cool. You could keep ordering more food and coffee while swimming, then going back to eat. Great while none of our 11 persons family group was doing the same thing at the same time, but we were still all in the same area.

I went to Vartika on 12 April 2015. I arrived at 12 pm but the time for check-in is 2 pm so I went to the adventure of Vartika, it's nearby the resort and did some activity there. And back to the resort around 2 pm, check-in but the rooms not finish cleaning!!!! and i have to wait for 2 hours!!!!! to get the room. As a 4 star hotel, this is not impress. They give the reason that there is not enough worker!!! And the most thing that i hate, they give coupons for the discount of spa or whatever to apologize. But I didn't took it. It's not make me feel better. And the worst things is when i got the room, there is underpants of the other visitor hanging in the bathroom!!! you know this is the first time that I and my sister took our parents for the vacation and i want them to impress but it's not. I won't come here again.
