Value for money in a prime location”
I travelled with my family group of 7 people. The room I was in was completely new and clean. Complete with a kitchen and washer dryer, made our stay conveniently like our own home. Darling harbour, sydney opera house and other tourists spots is very near. Although we realised our stay did not come with a complimentary carpark but it's ok. Veriu just lacks a gym, a swimming pool and a sauna. The room had high tech air con that controls upper and lower level area. living room was spacious as it was a open concept. what you see from the website is what you get. thumbs up to Veriu Camperdown.

Some hits, some misses”
I chose Veriu Camperdown for their large 4BR apartments because I wanted to be able to put 2 groups of 7 adults and kids into one apartment each. Because it is difficult to find large apartments close to the city for a short period of time, and tough to find the right ratio of bathrooms to bedrooms, Veriu Camperdown was a godsend. In terms of location, it was also excellent, just a few busstops away from or a straight road down to city centre. They also provided coffee & tea. However, some cons: 1. The sofa bed in the 4th room was horribly uncomfortable. Could feel the springs in the mattress & the mattress support caves in in the middle 2. If you have old folks, there's only one room on the first floor. The others are on the second floor. Stairs pretty steep 3. No ventilation in all rooms, only in the common corridors/areas. Stuffy even at 15 degrees 4. Wifi is not available at all on the second floor of the apartment 5. Minimal kitchenware 6. No housekeeping unless door sign put up

It's located in a quiet suburb across a university. It's a 10-min walk or less to quiant shops and restaurants. If you're booked here, you get free access to a nice gym downstairs. The CBD area is only a 10-min. bus ride away. The bus stop is very nearby the entrance. The only improvement I would like to see is the cleanliness of our suite, some corners were dusty. Overall, this is still an amazing hotel to stay at. We surely enjoyed our vacation here and for sure would book again if we're back in Sydney. Thank you for a wonderful stay, Veriu!

Quiet and Comfortable in the Inner West of Sydney”
The Veryiu Camperdown is conveniently placed to Sydney University, Prince Alfred Hospital and range of great inner west restaurants. Despite its address on Parramatta Rd the apartments are remarkably quiet and simple but comfortable. Off street parking is available and the reception staff were always helpful. The apartments are reasonable value for money.

Good for family”
This place is located opposite University of Sydney, in Camperdown. It is not that near city centre but it takes only about 10 mins-15 mins to reach by car. There are some cafes & restaurants within 5mins to 10mins walk. This place is relatively new & apartment is clean. I find it suitable for my family with teenage children. The reception is very welcoming, friendly & helpful.

Veriu Camperdown - Excellent”
Very clean, high tech & very well secured hotel.👍 Lift is big, new and nice. Counter staffs were very friendly and helpful. Free coffee (coffee maker) and tea at counter area. Garden was beautiful and cosy. 😁 Bus stop is just outside hotel. Easily access to Cabs as hotel is located at main roads.👍👍 Only setback of this hotel is not @ CBD area (darling habour, Paddy market, Queen Victoria building, etc), so you need to take transport. But only 10-20 mins on transport, not too far from CBD area. Cafe just 1 mins walk from hotel. Broadway shopping Centre👍😁 (one of the tourists attraction) is about 10-15mins walk. Rooms is very big (2 bedroom apt) with 2 toilets & balcony.👍 Room was clean & new. Wifi was excellent even in the room. Washing machine/dryer available in the room and provided with washing power. Dish washer/oven/bread toaster also available. Lists goes on & on. 👍👍😁 Entrance is at ground floor, which need to drag your luggages up a few steps and take a lift to level 1. Reception is at level 1. Very comfortable/spacious/secure and fantastic hotel. 👍👍😁😁 Will definitely book this hotel again if I go back to Sydney.😀👍👍👍👍👍😁

Great to look ”
We stated at this hotel because of its location, close to the Royal Prince Alfred. The hotel is ascetically great. The staff member was very good once we were able to contact him. We arrived at the hotel at just after 6pm. I wasn't aware that the hotel didn't have 24 hr reception. We found a note at the front door area which had been left by the staff member providing a number to contact him, which I did. I wasn't able to get him and tried a few times. When I did speak with him he was very helpful. We eventually got the key to our room. The room is very clean. The kitchen is beautiful and has everything. The lounge wasn't comfortable for us. The bathroom is very small. There needs to be some shelving put in the space so that person items can be placed somewhere other than the toilet top as well as some hooks for clothing or towels. The room was very quiet whilst all the doors and windows were closed but coming from the country we like to have some fresh air. There is not individual room air-conditioning so you are unable to regulate air flow or temperature. It was very stuffy in the room. When we did open the window we couldn't leave it open because of the noise from outside. This was an overnight stay only which I was very pleased about. Again the hotel is very clean and the staff member when we did speak with him was so helpful but be aware this hotel reception is open from 8am - 6pm. We had said we would arrive at between 4 - 5 however we were held up. When we have stayed in other accommodation where there is no staff to meet you they leave the details with you by phone so that you don't have to chase them when you arrive at the accommodation weary. This could perhaps be a good practice for this hotel.

Tucked away in unassuming place, though it was initially a bit difficult to find the hotel, this place offers great accommodation, space and peaceful environment, away from the hustle and bustle of crowded Sydney, even though it is actually in the heart of city.

Very new, clean and spacious room, it's located a bit from the central area but access to central station by bus (frequent) was just 10mins. Alex the hotel manager was extremely friendly and helpful! And they extended our check out time a bit as well as arranged us a room for our early arrival, for family with toddlers it's a great help! Highly recommended!! Thank you so much!

Well appointed apartments”
We have stayed here a few times. Well appointed apartments with kitchen and washing machine/dryer. Internet is good but we had a problem one night and the problem was not fixed until reception reopened at 7am the next day. Decent bikes are free to hire. Near to University of Sydney, RPA Hospital, Broadway Shopping Centre. Bus stop outside. Reception staff very helpful, as they were when contacted by email. Not a cheap place to stay but I would stay there again.

Great apartment”
The apartment is new, clean and well-equipped. The Check in and Check out process is fast and hassle free. We were able to check in early at 10am! It is also conveniently located, only 10 min bus ride away from central station. The only downside is the aircon, the bedrooms will be very humid if we close the bedroom door even though the aircon in the living room is 18 degree Celsius.

We checked in and I was no advised that the front desk was going to close over an hour early, so when we went to get information they were nowhere to be seen. The parking was for an extra fee of 35 per day. The room was great. It had a kitchen and a washer dryer, and just all around clean. We loved the room. Also my husband checked out he gym downstairs and he said that it was well worth going.

I guess we left our international adapter in the hotel room. Wrote to the hotel to check on the same but they said couldn’t locate it. Impossible that we didn’t bring back to home country and yet it’s gone out of no where. Interesting lol

Overall all is good. Near to bus station even not near to town. One thing is the room make up. They didn't clean up the room properly, For example didn’t give toilet paper and floor mat.

The drawback I think is the location which is located quite outskirt. We went there to be close to University of Sydney, but if central Sydney is your focus, then this might not be a perfect location. Transportation is not an issue though, grab is easily available, buses too.
