Wonderful few days at Full Moon”
Great getaway at Full Moon Beach Resort. Ms. Bình and her team are super friendly. Well kept grounds. Big pool which is shaded, very rare in Vietnam! Located on the main strip in Mui Ne, so very convenient.
Great Marine Activity Hotel”
Stuff were super friendly, location is hear of Mui Ne town. Although hotel doesn't have a typical sand beach, there is Windsurf/Kitesurf shop near by you can borrow any equipments. Also their pool was amazing!!
A nice place with very friendly staff and good ambviance. Room was nice but had a bath, no shower. Breakfast was medium. Sometimes ran out of cereal or bread. Beach was disappointing as it was virtually non existant except for a couple hours in the morning on some days. Its a family place and as we were there through TET it got swamped with barking dogs and screaming kids. Before TET it was quiet.
The rooms, gardens and staff are fabulous. However, for a resort of its price there are a few basic things that I think need to be fixed. I didn't have usable WiFi in my room during my stay, the shower was terrible (mostly cold, really cheap fittings and sprayed everywhere) and finally despite the pictures this property is not on the beach (it has a concrete wall that leads to the ocean). There is a sister property on the beach and free shuttle buses but its not really the same. If they fixed the WiFi and the showers this resort would go shooting up in my estimation!
The wonderful staff makes you feel better than in home. Everlasting smiling, caring, respectful, efficient, ready to please you...whom every hotel would like to have working with them for their relialiability and proffesssionalism. And what to say about their cuisine: the best! no need no to go out to find gourmet options, you have them there.
Excellent Beachside Mid-Range Resort”
I stay here almost every time I come to Mui Ne. The rooms are clean and have some character. The pool is gorgeous and there are great sea views. Good food with a lot of vegetarian options in the restaurant. The location is very convenient.
Excellent location and a hospitable service”
The location is near other tour offices and bus companies. There are nearby shops and restaurants to try out. Staffs are friendly, and renders prompt service. Buffet breakfast matches the price, so don't expect too much, at least we aren't short-changed. Beachfront is narrow but very clean. The room interior design is uniquely Mui Ne.
Good location, nice staff, clean hotel ”
We were very happy with or choice to stay here. Decently priced, clean and pretty hotel. Very nice rooms. Food was pretty good. Staff were very nice and professional!! Beach at low tide otherwise short walk to beach. Nice even in off season
Small fantastic place, great food”
This is a small place and you find yourself immediately welcome and home. This is not a big resort, but the small size males it instead more cosy and friendly. The rooms are nice and clean and especially the family room we stayed in was made and equipped with a personal nice touch. Food is great to reasonable prices and the staff is very friendly and helpful. We travelled with kids (7 and 10) and they enjoyed it very much.
Lovely, quiet, relaxin' spot, right on the coast.”
Loved every minute. I would offer the suggestion to have a greater variety of breakfast buffet items, but we were overall very satisfied. We've already recommended to friends who will be visiting Mui Ne soon. The tide was unpredictable which meant sometimes sand and sometimes no sand at all. Must be seasonal. Staff was great, pool incredible, and grounds gorgeous. And, they take dogs! Will definitely stay again.
A Gem In Mui Ne”
I have stayed in many, many hotels in Mui Ne from bog standard to high end. This is the hotel I plan to return to when my family visit me. Spacious twin rooms with large single/queen beds, clean, pool shaded by lovely garden, loungers on beachy area, friendly staff and the best breakfast I have had in Mui Ne. A winner. (My only gripe would be that there was a noisy Vietnamese family which woke us up in the pool at 7am each morning and staff did not ask them to keep the noise down - by day 2 I had to have a very firm word with the mother. I'm sure if I said to staff they would have spoken with her but they could have used their initiative and done so.)
A great place to relax on the beach”
This was my favourite place to stay in Mui Ne. The place had a very relaxing vibe to it. The owner and staff were very laid back and friendly. The only downside was the amount of garbage in the ocean. This seems to be worsening problem in Mui Ne.
Reasonable stay for couple”
Hotel location is good, however, hotel is small and not furnished. Garden is very dark at night time, beach is too bad and not for swimming. Staff is not flexible when we asked for late check out until 1pm but they informed to charge 30%. There are too much ants everywhere in room. In general, we have a good time but not really enjoy it.
Beautiful garden and pool”
Relaxing at Full Moon”
The staff is very nice and friendly, the general manager was very helpful in tours selection, she also spoke french.
nice place with front beach. nicely decorated”
directly at the sea, needs to be renovated”
Perfectly located at the sea, but only during very low-tide there is a small beach. Hotel needs to be renewed. Too much chlorine in the pool which shows it is not clean. Staff very ambitious but they should improve their English. Food is tasty, except icecream.
Unable to change to family room, we ended having two rooms, quite expensive for a facility with no b”
Agoda's manage booking was a flaw since it didn't communicate with property when I asked to book for 4 people, it allowed me to book a room for two and no warning. We ended paying two rooms, the same amount we could have stayed in a much nicer resort for a family room with nice beach down the road.
The Hotel and Staff is Good and Friendly; i had only bad story about payment with Credit card ! After i paid my bill on Reception and leave the Hotel 30min later the deduct aigain my deposit payment, without my approvment !!!! Nice place to stay but better not give ur creditcard notes by Booking
Lovely gardens and sea views”
Booked room with a terrace that overlooked the sea. The room was spacious but the bathroom has seen it's best days and the bed was incredibly low. Breakfast was good in a lovely restaurant area overlooking the sea. The pool was fab, with lots of plants around it to give plenty of shade. On a downside, there was no kettle in the room (usual in Vietnam) but they did supply a thermos flask of hot water when asked and, a first for Asia in general, the hotel did NOT supply bottles of free water, even though the hotel info said it did. Given the fairly high price paid for this hotel, that was very surprising. When queried though, they did provide us a bottle each day.
Beach Hotel that Lost it's Beach”
Full Moon Beach Resort is an older property highly recommended in Lonely Planet. However, with the development that has gone on in Mui Nee I think you can do much better for your accommodation $$$'s at one of the newer resorts. We had booked a Superior Seaview room, however, you could barely see the ocean, and there was nowhere to sit outside and enjoy what view there was. Inside the decor was tired, bathroom not very functional and an ancient 12" old-style TV to complete the "lost in time" feel to the place. There is a pool, but there is no seating around the pool as it is set in a jungle. Nice to look at but not nice to use as it was full of leaves etc within an hour of cleaning each day.. Beach (concrete step) side lounge chairs were not well shaded from the direct sun. Biggest disappointment about this hotel is it has lost it's beach, except at low tide. Due to heavy surf they have had to build concrete steps down to the ocean, which is breaking surf. So you can't really swim safely in front of the hotel. To the west of the hotel, the beach is better but this is kite surfer zone with signs warning you not to sunbath there because of the risk of the kite or kite lines coming down on you when they land or take off. To the immediate East, there are about 4 properties in a row (Joe's, a Kiter shop and a restaurant that have serious beach erosion problems. Many have built solid concrete walls against the ocean. The best alternative seemed to be resorts starting a few kilometers to the East where the sea swell is partially blocked by a large peninsula extending out into the ocean. I actually came to windsurf in this area and ended up taking a motorcycle taxi daily 5 kms east to a beautiful new resort called "Surf4You". So all in, I can't agree with Lonely Planet's call on Full Moon Resort, unless you are really just interested in being close to restaurants, nightlife and drinking.
the location is great with private beach”
the best hotel..”
everything was nice. ... location. staff kindness.. cleaness
Great time here”
Here is great place. Woker is friendly, food was nice, room clean and i love smell of thing they put inside the room. Alway have fruit of each day. I will be when i travel to Mui ne
The Full Moon under the...full moon”
We stay in a room for 3 people. The room is big .Everything was nice ...especially it was the full moon ! we would have appreciated a " bigger" blanket for 2 and air con a bit less noisy .
Great location, nice staff, pool refreshing”
3th time and will come back.”
Happy, relaxed and stress free.”
My stay at tge full moon beach exceeded my expectations.
i love this resort”
it was beautiful holiday after a long time stress with work in the city. i d love to go again again to rest there every time i go to mui ne.
Very pleasant stay”
Very pleasant stay, with great helpful and friendly staff. Good location and safe surroundings
The sea side view is great and the staff is helpful. However, there is no hot water for bathing In my room.
Friendly staff but too bad location that caused lot trouble when travelling with kids”
No private beach, room was not clean and a lot of ants.
The hotel locates at a very nice place though it doesnt have a private beach. Staffs and services are good and helpful. Room is a bit old and small
i just think this resort is amazing :) ”
I had a great holiday and relax in the full moon and this is always my choice to visit the set.
Personnel sympa souriant accueillant ”
Toller Garten, nettes Personal”
Schlechtes Internet, veraltete Einrichtung - schlechtes Preis-leistungs verhältnis.
