Very nice hotel. ”
Awesome hotel in a great location. Very close to Trevi Fountain and Spanish steps (10 min walk). Bus tours stop opposite the piazza. The hotel itself is very clean and we celebrated our anniversary and the provided a bottle of Prosecco which as a nice gesture. Overall 5/5
A Little Gem”
We were delighted with our choice of hotel for our four nights in Rome! Up-to-date decor makes it feel quite boutique hotel-ish. There was a lovely welcome fruit bowl in our very comfortable room. Thought the beds were excellent. The bathroom was smallish, but very well appointed. Staff were extremely helpful, even recommending a restaurant which was really good. The location couldn't be better.
The Location was very good an the stuff was very friendly . The breakfast selection was great and good. With the superior room we booked we‘re not happy. It was extremely tiny and there weren’t enough space for our suitcase, clothes to but in a wardrobe and also the bathroom was so small and not so in a good condition.
Exceptional Service & Hospitality”
Hotel Barocco's hospitality was amazing. I truly enjoyed my stay with them and their staff is exceptionally friendly. I highly recommend anyone travelling to Rome to stay with them, you will not be disappointed. When I was leaving, the staff made sure of my comfort to an extent that it didn't feel like I was leaving from a hotel but from home. Thank you so much for making my stay memorable!
All staff are very nice, Salvatore and the young lady at breakfast service make the best capacinno.”
It may be challenging for people with stairs because even if you take the elevator to your floor. There are still steps to take in order to get to your room, but then, it is part of the charm of this wonderful place. Overall, 5 stars!
Quaint boutique hotel in a great location. Staff are devoted to ensuring your stay is the absolute best possible - everything from buying back unused metro tickets to serving coffee before breakfast opened. Hotel is immaculate, and bed and pillows are so very comfortable. Breakfast is fresh, generous and beautifully displayed. You can’t wrong with this hotel.
Gorgeous little hotel off piazza barberini ...spotlessy clean....really comfortable beds...great linen...lovely bathrooms...loads of choice for breakfast and last but most important...really really friendly and helpful staff....all staff from check in to check out ensure your stay is perfect
Hotel Barocco, a great value in a great location”
We stayed at the Hotel Barocco November 25th and 26th as our 4th stop in Italy. This was our second stay at the Hotel Barocco, we stayed there for our honeymoon three years ago. I did an extensive search for this trip and we decided that we could not beat the Barocco for location and price. This trip was even better, they have extensively updated the hotel, it is beautiful inside. We had a welcoming fruit bowl at check in, when we came back in for the night there was a chilled bottle of prosecco waiting for us. We had mentioned that it was our anniversary. The next night there was a nice bowl of assorted sweets waiting for us. The breakfast was the best of our four hotels in Italy this trip. My highpoint was the made to order omelet, perhaps the best omelet that I have ever had. The service was fantastic, they even had a staff member walk up the street to try to obtain a restaurant reservation for us when the restaurant did not answer their phone.
All the staff had a great attitude.....always a smile. They provided outstanding service, which is not always easy to find these days. It was our home away from home. Thank you to all the staff at Barocco Hotel.
Beautiful hotel in great location close to subway station (2-3 min walk).”
Pro- nice room, wonderful bed, great breakfast and espresso, great water fountain outside of hotel to fill up bottles. Close to metro station (we took this everywhere) which I recommend, great advise on meals, room gets dark and cold for good sleeping. Offered to upgrade for free if we could wait till 2 but we were super tired and took regular room, which was still nice. Robes were a nice touch as well as free bottle of champagne and candies. Cons- arrived early and room wasn't ready which was fine since we were super early and they held luggage. Once we got back to room had to ask for luggage 3 times before it finally made its way up. Had to ask for Iron twice before we got that and they said they booked us a reservation for dinner one night and when we got there, restaurant said they never got a call. Highly recommend bringing your own hair dryer. There's is super powerful but you have to hold down the button for it to keep running which makes it hard to use with a brush.
Trên cả tuyệt vời”
Absolutely fantastic break at the Hotel Barocco, loved our time her, in a perfect location. Minutes away from trevi fountain and spanish steps. All staff friendly and helpful. I often feel intimidated in higher end hotels but this one made us feel welcome and valued. Lovely rooms and breakfast was great. Only thing was no coffee or tea making facilities in the room but that was not a problem really just would of been nice to enjoy a coffee on our little terrace in the morning. Loved Rome and this hotel was one of the main reasons! Would recommend to everyone and anyone. Thank you
A perfect base from which to see all the delights Rome has to offer. The hotel is on a quiet side street off the Piazza Barbarini. It has been recently and lavishly refurbished and is a peaceful and comfortable sanctuary from the hustle and bustle of Rome. Our arrival in Rome began with a disaster, turning up at the wrong hotel and arguing with a rather insistent Italian lady that I had a reservation. On discovering my mistake she telephoned the Barocco who immediately sent over two staff members to escort us and our luggage to the correct hotel. Our room was ready as soon as we had registered (12.30 pm) and although small by some standards was beautifully furnished with a lovely marble en suite bath/showerroom. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. Breakfast was excellent and was a mixture of a wide choice of buffet items and waitress served eggs and hot drinks. The ambience in the breakfast room was particularly relaxing. The location was brilliant for all the major attractions and as long as you are reasonably fit you can walk everywhere. Trevi fountain 6mins, Spanish steps 6mins, Pantheon 15 mins, Colloseum and forum 40 mins, Vatican 60mins. We would definitely stay again.
Great location and friendly staff”
We has a wonderful time staying at this hotel for our honeymoon. We requested an upgrade to the room with a balcony, which helped make our stay at Hotel Borocco especially memorable. The shower in the bathroom was particularly amazing with a huge ceiling based shower head that "made it rain". The balcony was also nice to go out for a great a view of the Triton fountain in the Piazza Barberini. Would definitely go here again as the location was great and staff helped this hotel stand out as a favorite of our honeymoon trip to Italy.
Great Location and the Quality”
The hotel is perfectly located next to Piazza Barberini where you can get to the subway or get a taxi. It's within walking distance from many historic sites such as Spanish Steps, Fountain Trevi, etc. The room that we had was spacious with all the amenities that you expect from this type of hotel including slippers and bath robes. The staff is very accomodating, and helpful in many ways. The windows in the room are of a very good quality because when they are closed, you don't hear any noise coming from the piazza; try opening them, and you will see for yourself what a great noise-canceling job they are doing. The hotel provides free wi-fi, and it was working fine in the lobby and in our room. The breakfast buffet was excellent, probably the best one among all the hotels we stayed in during our trip. They have great selections of meat, cheese, fruits (ripe and delicious), veggies, fresh juices, sweets, etc. You can also ask them to make you eggs any style, or anything else that they have in the menu (you don't pay extra for this). The cappuccino they make for you is of a very good quality so definitely get it in the morning. if you're not into cappuccino or coffee, then they have variety of tea bags you can pick from. If you're looking for a great place to have lunch or dinner, I highly recommend visiting Osteria Barberini, which is a block away from the entrance to the hotel (when you exit the hotel, turn left and go uphill). At the hotel they always recommend 2 places: Trattoria Tritoni and Crispi19. Avoid "Crispi 19" at all cost.
I was truly surprised how great this hotel was. Affordable, good locations, close to major sites. Friendly & helpful Staff. Great breakfast that I looked forward each morning. . Rooms beautifully decorated and very clean. Large bathrooms with large towels and amenities. I highly recommend the Hotel Borocco, I truly enjoyd my stay.
Excellent location, welcoming staff, very clean, delicious breakfast.
I feel comfortable staying at Barocco hotel. Thank you for your warm welcome
The best hotel in Venice”
Mr.Mateo( owner) & Mr.alex were the best,I can’t recommend this hotel and the level of attentiveness more highly exceptional stuff .Only 9 suites of 14th century palace.
Hotel location right in the heart of Rome. Breakfast was great. Really friendly and helpful staff.
Roma post cruise adventure”
Sometimes there were communication problems with front desk staff. Check -in was overtly long & drawn out even though they had all of our info in advance our tbe room was pre-paid. Staff member tried to enter our room while we were changing for bed (10:30 pm ish) the first night. Very strange. Brkfst was included & was very nice.
