Fantastic Stay”

I had a wonderful 9-day stay at Nid's Bungalows. Nid and Alan are incredibly friendly and helpful as are the other staff. The place was so clean I felt I could eat off the floors in the bathroom. I rented a scooter and booked a car to drive me to the airport for my flight and both transactions were easy and reasonably priced. Breakfast (not included) was reasonable for the area. I appreciated being a little removed from the main road which seemed like it could be very noisy. The wifi in the dorm was spotty but very strong elsewhere throughout the place. A couple of suggestions- it would be useful to have some clotheslines or coat racks in the dorm to dry towels and hang bathing suits at the end of the day. Also, the dining area could use some citronella candles- the mosquitoes were quite active at times. Thanks for a great stay!

Comfortable”

I loved all the animals around the place! Loads of puppies and kittens so don't come here if you don't like pets. Rooms were great, showers were nice and hot! Pool is great. Only downside is that taxis take persuading to take you all the way to the hostel, and when we tried booking tours the staff said that they wouldn't pick us up from nids as they had problems with the owner so picked us up a few metres down the road. Great location.. 10 min walk to all bars, restaurants and beach.

Good budget accommodation ”

It is a little out of the way but only takes 7 minutes to walk to the shop and first bar area and 10-12 minutes in total to get to the Main Street. We paid for the most basic room - it was basic but adequate. The whole place is very clean, towels and linen changed daily, staff very helpful, great breakfast. Only complaint was the gap above our front door which let cool air out and Mosquitos in but for the price, we were more than satisfied.

Es un recinto muy bonito y a la vez diferente como el resto en samui. Ambiente muy familiar y te encuentras muchos animales que en nuestro caso nos ha encantado. Estar sentado en la terraza y que ves paseando al gallo con su gallina o que vengan los perritos y gatitos a qué les den caricias nos ha encantado. La piscina es muy buena y el desayuno no tiene competencia de precio por menos de 2,50€ por persona te preparan al momento tus huevos, tostadas, fruta fresca, café, zumo y un bollo. Fue la cuarta vez en nid’s bungalow y no la última seguro.

English follows פשוט נוראי.. החדר שהזמנו אמנם היה יפה, אבל הצוות נכנס לחדר למרות ששמנו שלט ״נא לא להפריע״, המקום מלא בחיות חולות מלאות מחלות קרציות ופשפשים, דרך ההגעה לשם לא נוחה בכלל וגולת הכותרת! כאשר עשינו צ׳ק אאוט בעל המקום חייב אותנו ב1,000!!! באט על פרחים שהיו בחדר למרות שלא ביקשנו אותם ובלי ליידע אותנו לגבי המחיר ההזוי הזה! אל תתקרבו לשם! The room we ordered was beautiful, but the staff came in even though we had a "Do not disturb" sign. The place was full of sick animals full of tick and flea diseases, by getting there not at all comfortable And the crowning glory! When we made a check-out the owner obliged us at 1,000 !!! Baht about the flowers that were in the room even though we did not ask for them and without informing us about this delusional price! Do not get any closer!

בקתות קטנות”

המלון קרוב לרחוב עם המועדונים והפאבים \ ברים. בתק' השהות שלנו התקיימו עבודות בנייה באתר המלון כך שאיכות השינה שלנו לא הייתה טובה בכלל. הפעלת המזגן הקיים בחדר היא בתוספת תשלום לכל לילה (יש מאוורר). הבקתה מעץ מתחממת יותר מהר מאשר המבנה מאבן ולא היה נעים להיות בחדר בכל שעה שבה היינו. מרחק של כ10 דק' הליכה מבית חב"ד. הבריכה של המלון טובה ומאוד נהננו להיות בה.
