Little Gem in Koh Chang”
We stayed four nights and felt welcomed and “home” from the moments we entered the resort. The staff is very friendly, location on a peaceful rocky beach ideal, offering great kayak and snorkelling trips, and the F&B offering is great. Best sunset views. We stayed in the Deluxe bungalow with sea view, the accommodation was clean, comfortable and offering amazing views on the sea. It also offers privacy. We will definitely come back to Saffron on the Sea !!

Stop looking... this is what you need”
We had such a great time here! Great staff and Lovely huts. Dont even get me started about the food ... (10+ stars) there may not be a sandy beach infront but this way its very private and the view is stunning. we saw this as a way to go out exploring. Its very easy to rent a scooter here! Believe me when i say that you will not regret booking this place. I want to Thank the staff again for being very helpfull. If we come back to Koh Chang do doubt that we will go here again.

Wonderful quite and cozy space”
We was very pleased to realize this wonderful quite and cozy space with brilliant and friendly service. A Room has been cleaned daily, always clean towels, nice rooms, hot shower, rent a bike, nice restaurant, great personnel.

Amazing food and views ”
Cute little cove in the middle of a beautiful island! We loved our stay, with the most deliciously fresh seafood and salads. Bed was super comfy and quality, rooms clean and A/C very much appreciated. Order the food!

Rooms are nice, but the best is absolutely the open air areas. The restaurant is great too, and the staff super helpful. I'd love to stay longer.

Good bed and excelent food”
Was there for three night we soent every meal in thier restuarant excellent food.! Good room clean all facilities is nessecery good view from windows . I recoomend if you have plan to koh chang this is the first choice.!

The staff is great: helpful and kind. You can do snorkelling and kayaking. The place is lovely and just on the sea! A good way to enjoy the island and to be in a quiet and pleasant place.

Nice Hotel But Off The Beaten Path”
A very nice resort overlooking the sea. You can view amazing sunset every evening. Every rooms (and bathroom too!) is well curated and decorated; beautifully. To top it up, every bathrooms will be provided with luxury-nice-rosey-smell shower gel, shampoo and conditioner (in red, pink and light pink color). They are not your ordinary hotel's supplies. I believe this effort show's how they value their guests. Top notch quality for all their guests. The downside is just the location. It's far from all the interesting places in White Sand Beach . You may need to rent Motorbike (250 Baht per 24 hours) in order to commute easily. Cheers!

tucked away gem ”
We ended up extended our stay one extra day. It’s super quaint and cozy. The staff members were both helpful, fun and kind. We stayed in the garden unit and it was perfect to return to after a day at the beach. The door doesn’t quite close all the way at the top leaving a little gap but we just burned mosquito coils and had no issues with them. The ac worked great. There are a few grocery stores within walking distance and some roadside food stands. Our favorite was the last one on the left towards tesco :) it’s about 5 miles from Lonely beach (100 baht per person) and 1.5 from white sand (50 baht per person) they have free kayaks which is a nice touch. They even had a dj one night while we were there. Coffee is about 60 baht, large Chang is around 180 baht. The reasturant seemed to be popular. Would recommend for those looking for a quiet getaway. Female owned ✨

Amazing location, snorkeling, best sunset and by far best food in koh Chang”
The snorkeling in the kelp forests are pretty amazing, at night the tide stretches back to leave expose rocks, beautiful full on sunset at the dinner table. THE BEST FOOD we have had in koh chang, also very delicious cocktails.

This is a very relaxing small hotel right on the water with excellent food and drinks. Staff is wonderful. If you don’t stay here you should definitely try their restaurant.

Beautiful authentic feeling small resort”
We really liked our stay at The Saffron! The location is beautiful and quiet, away from the mainstreet, right at the sea front, absolutely beautiful surroundings, very relaxing spot. It's very easy to rent a scooter from the hotel and drive to the nearest beaches, but we walked most of the time. Also the customer service at the hotel is superb, our hostess was so lovely! The room was cleaned every day and the room was simple but cosy, nice decor and super lovely balcony! Only thing I would like to have is a proper breakfast for the hotel guests - you can buy breakfast and delicious food from their restaurant, but still I'd rather prefer a proper classic buffet or maybe something specially made for the hotel guests? Cos it was a bit pricey.... Also a more comfier bed would be nice, it was quite uncomfortable, but we managed for the week. But all in all, the resort and the location and the views are amazing and I would definitelly recommend staying at The Saffron!

right by a cobble beach. the huts are beautiful and the surrounding area is lovely. difficult to get too without a bike.
