Great Design & Awful Value for Money”

Wonderfully designed rooms and a peaceful location but an awful lack of facilities. The breakfast and evening canapés were poor, and the staff though attentive missed that exceptional customer experience you expect with $900 a night. I wanted much more from my stay.

Gorgeous boutique hotel”

Stayed at the Barracks Hotel during the Phase 2 Heightened Alert period. Even though we were not allowed to dine in (food was delivered to our room), it was still an amazing stay. The property is quaint and gorgeous. Love the pool — I think that's definitely the highlight of my stay. Staff was also super attentive and friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Impeccable Service and More!”

My experience has been nothing but excellent staying in Barracks. The staff were all so genuine and personable (Thank you once again, Andy, Faris, Din and the rest of the team) We were served evening canapés with free flow of wine and the serving was generous, likewise for its breakfast. Mini bar and snacks were abundant and complimentary except for hard liquors. Of course if I really have to nitpick something for improvement - perhaps to provide racks to hang wet clothes (the hooks were insufficient) outside. Otherwise, it is Perfect! I love my stay there!

I'm definitely coming back here again for my Christmas staycation. Though the room might be a little small, everything else was perfect. The little details that the F&B focused on, I'm truly impressed by it. Thank you again for making this staycation so wonderful. It one of the best staycation I've stayed by far.

Top service in Singapore”

The staff at the hotel were super helpful, I really liked how they organized the breakfast asking you at check-in so you don't have to wait like in other hotels for a long time. They found out at that time that my husband is vegan and they surprised us with vegan dishes for the afternoon drinks! Swimming pool is lovely and since the hotel is not huge there's no need for booking.

This post is made Upon reaching, the door uncle at the carpark greets knows you by name because he has a list of the people checking in for the day. At the reception, we were offered welcome drink of infused soda water grapefruit tea (their specialty concoction) and cold towel to freshen up (which reminded me of cold towels on Singapore Airlines). We were brought to our room and had a tour of it by the check in staff. In room facilities are impeccable. You have toilet seats that reminds you of Japan (because only in Japan have those kind or smart, warming, bidet washing kinda toilet), a standalone bathtub which is slightly bigger than average. Bronze-y finishings for the toilet gave that collonial rustic look, smart TV that allows you to check out from the TV (and you can bring the key card home as souvenir) and fully complete with iron, full use of the things in the fridge except for alcoholic drinks of course and Nescafe capsule pods (which unfortunately we are not coffee drinkers). We were surprised by the complimentary cocktail sessions and evening canapé. Shout out to Mervin, one more check in staff I forgot his name but starts with J and he has injected zest and uplift the spirits upon our check in, Tomo, Suram and Trisya for looking after us throughout our 2 days stay. In fact, the staff at Living Room too who were attentive to our needs.

Above and Beyond Expectations”

My wife and I had booked the hotel for a 2 night stay on our wedding day. From the moment we stepped into the Lobby to when we left, we were showered with sincerity and care from all the staff, from reception to house keeping. Everyone we interacted with was exceedingly polite and genuinely friendly and went out of their way to make our experience unforgettable. The entire place was well maintained and there was no sight of any aging even though the place had been opened for about a year. While the furnishing was tastefully vintage, the amenities were state of the art - from the Marshall Bluetooth Speakers, the television which multiple connectivity options (e.g. Miracast, Chromecast etc), to the smart toilet bowls often found in Japan. The Barracks Hotel gave us a sense of community and privacy at the same time. We loved spending our time at the cozy Living Room during Breakfasts and the Evening Cocktails, and having our own quiet space at the pool side of balcony to relax.

Easily one of the most beautiful hotels we’ve stayed in - the attention to detail in creating that old school grandeur is amazing! Staff deserved a 110/100 for attentiveness as well - special thanks to Trisya (hope this is spelt correctly) who really made us feel super welcome - it was my husband’s birthday and she gifted us a cake which he loved, as well as some macaroons! The pool access suite was well worth the money - such comfortable access to the pool whenever we wanted a dip.

The quality of service and attention to detail exceeds expectation. Huge thanks to the staff (front desk and living room) for the awesome services. The restaurant (living room) makes amazing cocktails and food - all the meals (breakfast and dinner) were excellent! Would highly recommend and would stay definitely stay with Barracks again!

Gorgeous Luxury Staycation ”

Went recently for our 20th Wedding Anniversary. Had a Suite Room with all day access to the pool and an outdoor terrace. The hotel was quiet and relaxing. Lovely room & pool with excellent service throughout. Got a nice bottle of wine as a celebratory gift. Would love to go back after COVID to enjoy the other facilities which were not available during this time.

Beautiful and quiet ”

Stayed there during Phase 2 of the lockdown (mon to wed). It was quiet and the surroundings were well kept. Room was immaculate and pool was clean. The inclusion of evening canapés in the room price was a nice touch. Definitely must try the 1904 special blend tea!

算是一家新开的精品酒店吧，位置很好，两层客房，1楼出门泳池比较方便。但酒店客房不大，无法加床，所以带小朋友的谨慎选择，我们2大2小，付费升级到了套房，但也只能加一个1m宽的床（当时接待的帅哥说可以加2个，后来说问了经理只能一个）早餐和晚餐都是免费的但品种比较少，服务人员不多，要有个5/6组家庭以上感觉就忙不过来了。吐槽一下早餐时候的自助拿餐具摆桌、离店taxi的自行搬运行李到B1、室内装修晃动的台盆和室外那两片塑料草坪（可是在圣淘沙啊，看照片以为肯定是真草坪）说这么多其实因为也是性价比的问题，价格不高这些都不用太介意（除了带娃的普通房不能加床这个比较硬伤）价格高出来了那还是希望酒店可以做得更好，不管是旺季与淡季，不管是硬件还是服务。
