Even only one night for my business trip but it was valued to stay

Basic”

This accommodation is fine for a base but very basic. The facilities are clean and have a nice big pool. The location is a little far from the main beach, maybe 20 mins walk. The WiFi was poor and cut out for a couple of days but other than that was fine.

an absolute holiday spoiler”

V.O.P Suits needs significant uplift in order to comfort travellers . The beds were uncomfortable , the rooms had no no frills – an absolute holiday spoiler. To add to the misery , the WiFi didn’t work. I believe that with little investments, there is a possibility for the management to turn around this hotel Positives 1. Approximately 1.5 Km from main Chaewang Central Festival Mall , however one would need to take a ride (Songtheaw) to get there. 2. There is a Family mart around 3 mins walk from the hotel 3. Spacious rooms (however don’t expect anything to comfort you inside) 4. Big swimming pool 5. Quiet place Negatives 1. Beware - Extremely uncomfortable beds & mattress. The quilt is not sufficient and looks dilapidated. 2. There are no kitchen utensils / dishes 3. Though there is a nice balcony, it doesn’t have any chair or coffee / side table 4. Early mornings and evenings there is no one at the reception. Even if someone is there, language is a big barrier 5. No electric co

Big rooms but that's it ”

No chairs, only garbage bin was in the bathroom, no ashtray, no stove or microwave or anything in the big kitchen. Small blanket in bed. Construction outside and noisy Thai people playing music and talking until 3 in the morning.

overrates”

no reception so you need to wait 45 minute after a long flight to the they can find your booking and everthing was done by phone i was planing to extend my staying but i changes my mind the minute i steped inside the room

its a great hotel but lack of basic amenities ”

it lack a comfortable soft bed, it lack a warm and thick comforter(so you will wake up in the middle of the night because of coldness), it lack of a kettle, a hair dryer, a safety box. All the above are so important to make us feel comfortable in a hotel. the great is the price, the location, it has a family mart with 1 minutes walk from the hotel, it has a beautiful large swimming pool. All are great but just lack of some items in the room, it's is too easy to make it a 5 stars hotel by buying all the suggested stuff mentioned above.

Very happy”

Would have been nice to have a kettle, toaster and safe deposit box in the room, but apart from that everything was very good.

Great pool”

Rooms were nice and clean, great airconditioning. There is no daily room clean service but that was no problem. Was very angry with staff as they knocked on my door at 10am after my second night telling me I was checking out that day when I still had two nights to stay on my booking. Then had the manager banging on my door 10:30am on check out day, demanding to know what time I was checking out! Checkout time is 12pm and it was like harassment. I am a very quiet and private traveler and found this unacceptable.

Best place we've stayed whilst travelling”

Amazing little studio with a even better pool. Nice staff - no restaurant but who cares go out and eat! Recommend!

Good for value”

I stayed here about a month after the building constructed. It was very clean and value for money. The security man was very kind as well. I strongly recommend this place if you are thinking cheap accommodation with clean room.

Value budget apartment ”

The property is far away from everything, so if u have no plan to hire a car or bike don't consider it. The room size is not bad

Clean room ok location”

It was comfy, good for the price paid for, but location is a little hard to access.

Need a motorbike but huge, new rooms”

This place is difficult to get to, mainly because the taxi drivers and lomprayah van drivers have never heard of it. Once you get to the hotel, don't expect a check-in desk. You'll have to call the number on the door and wait for someone to arrive to show you the room. If you're okay with being away from all the action, the rooms are so nice with a sitting/TV area, kitchen sink and loads of counter space or places for you luggage. It seems that most people here are residents or long-term stays. There's some construction going on. Looks like another building in the complex is going up, but it starts/stops at reasonable hours so you won't be bothered unless you spend much of your day there. You'll definitely have to rent a motorbike down the road to get to the beaches or other places. There aren't many taxis or songthews that travel in this area. A couple little restaurants are walking distance but it's not much of a choice. There is a family mart right at the corner which is really nice. 10 min drive to Chaweng beach and 20 min to nicer areas. Be aware that the taxis are not affordable from this location if you do manage to flag one down - charging the equivalent of $10 usd to Chaweng or $30 usd to the southern port city.

Great value for money!”

Had a prefect stay at this newly built property. The rooms are big, clean and nicely decorated. There is no front desk but there is 24 hour security and the manager came by after i talked to her on the phone. The staff was super helpful overall, their english skills (except for the manager) are very limited though. The location is the only thing that is not perfect about this place. You might want to get a scooter or car, there is a parking lot right in front of it. Definitely recommendable to stay there, will definitely come back if i am back in Samui!

Brand new apartment building in a residential area”

Brand new, located away from the beach in a residential area. Mini Mart at the corner but no restaurand close by. Need a scooter or a car to get around. Very good value for your money.

Nice and new hotel”

My stay at V.O.P. Suites was excellent. The staff was very helpful and courteous. I would recommend this hotel to people who does not like the "beach scene" (loud music, night life) since it's further away from the ocean. With a scooter, the beach is less than 5 minutes away. One side note is that without a scooter, it's quite a trek to go places. If you want plenty of rest, this is the hotel to be. I particularly liked all of the new amenities such as nice tv, refrig, etc... Otherall, it was great. Currently, there is some construction going on in the back but it's not too noticeable.

Good Looking”

We are not stay at this hotel because of changing plan on the way to this hotel. We a not going to Koh Samut, but we going to Nakhorn Sittamarat and stay there.

Friendly, helpful staff and beautiful rooms ”

Thanks for a perfect stay on Koh Samui! The new rooms offer lots of space and were cleaned every day properly. The absolutely helpful manager and his staff make our time there feeling like a real holiday.
