Mixed”

The location was great, near decent restaurants and about a 15 minute walk to Chiang Mai gate. Room and bath were large and new, everything worked well. Rooms are not soundproof and while it wasn't a big issue for us it could be if you had noisy neighbours. What really surprised me is that they did not allow smoking outside. I like a non-smoking room but I like to sit on the balcony and have a cocktail and smoke. When I questioned this they said it is listed on Agoda and their website, it's not. You have to go to the front entry to smoke where all the smoke blows into the hotel and pool area anyway. If they made at least the third floor smoking optional I would probably go back. Smoke goes up, right? The only other negative was the breakfast which was poor at best.

Very nice hotel in a strategic place to visti Chang Mai old city”

We spent a couple of nights in this hotel after 3 days in the chaotic Bangkok. The thai style of this hotel id giving immediately a relaxing feeling, something spiritual...in line with the mood you must be to visit Chang Mai old city, rich of temples and spirituality. I surely suggest this hotel!

Perfect location in the Old Town and in the Sunday market with many ancient temples and restaurants nearby. The room itself was clean, spacious and tidy. The king size bed was comfortable. However, the water was not constantly hot (wonder if this is a Chang Mai wide issue). The bathtube was too high (higher than the bed) - I suggest to add a footrest. The cleaning and kitchen staff were excellent, friendly and helpful. The front office staff could show more service orientedness and warmth. I like the fact there is a 24 hour guard in front of the main entrance to the hotel. He is good. The buffet breakfast is decent and we enjoyed the room service menu which was surprisingly good.

Great location / Old Town”

Perfect location in the Old Town and in the Sunday market with many ancient temples and restaurants nearby. The room itself was clean, spacious and tidy. The king size bed was comfortable. Hotel with a heart”

Beautiful new hotel. Great location but most of all wonderful staff One night we need taxi and night market caused delay a member of staff walked us to find car.i was having trouble booking bus to chiang rai lady at front desk call for me. I have to Thailand many many times and would say this hotel one of the best ever for customer service

Loud children and unruly guests destroyed the resort-like feel of the hotel. The front desk staff were extremely helpful, friendly and patient despite us being booked on the wrong date. They went out of the way to help us get through. We loved the feel and look of the resort-like hotel, including its flowers, plants, amenities and pool. It was lovely. However, throughout our stay from 9am till 10pm, all we experienced was really loud noises/cries/playing/yelling/fighting from families with children (of Chinese nationality). We wished the hotel management would put some policies in place to protect other guests who came here to relax and rewind.

Wonderful staff, beautiful hotel”

Resort was located near a lot of restaurants and shops, and even some temples. Staff was very helpful with booking taxis and tours. Breakfast was great, lots of options. There is a lady down the block who does laundry for a fraction of what the resort charges (head left outside the resort).

The rooms are huge and beautiful, and the pool is lovely. It's in a perfect location, easy walking distance to everything. But keep in mind this is not a full-service resort: no room service, spa, gym, business center, concierge, etc. Very good value for the money.

Nice Quiet in the Centre of Old City”

Everything is very good, except the smoking area with seats is at the main entrance, and the main entrance is quite narrow. You may not like that whether you smoke or not.

Great Breakfast and Location”

Pros: Great location, 5-7mins' walk to Thapae Gate (Sunday Market). Breakfast was good and they made little changes to the variety everyday during our 4 night stay. Coffee was great. The hotel was in a quiet location. Cons: The bed was too soft for me so I woke up with back pain everyday (I'm in my 30s). The water pressure in the shower was too low. We were given a room with no pool view so we didn't hang out in the balcony. Option: This is more like a 3.5 star hotel with a simple reception area.

Nice Hotel, good location”

This is a nice hotel. We had to walk up four flights of stairs to get to our room on the 2nd floor. The room was beautiful, quite large and very clean. The staff was polite, but not too friendly. The breakfast was good with lots of choices but it would have been nice if it started a little earlier as we were rushed to be ready for our tours on time. There a good restaurants nearby and it was an easy walk to the Sunday night market from the hotel.

Location, location”

Ideal location for visits of the nearby temples and restaurants. Not much of a resort as it lacks the corresponding facilities such as restaurant, bigger pool, etc. WiFi not stable.

Nice hotel”

Great place to live, very convenient location, great staff, nice breakfast, very clean room. Only drawback as others mentioned, is the temperature of the bath water is changing all the time and hard to adjust.

Exceptional”

Pros: the staff was amazing, the cleanliness is awesome, breakfast is yummy, near everything we wanted to see, will stay here again. I booked with agoda. The staff even helped us check-in with there computers for our flights to phuket. Cons: no elevator but the staff is very helpful and we didn't mind. AMAZING ! was comfortable. will recommended to friends! :)

Traditional boutique property in quiet Soi...”

Loved this property...its new and super clean. Located in a quiet laneway but just steps from the Sunday Market (walking street). The front reception staff could have been friendlier but the housekeeping and security staff were always ready with a smile and greeting. Overall beautiful rooms with a great special rate on Agoda.

Excellent stay”

Very nice accommodation / room curtains blocked out a lot of light which was great for sleeping in.. - very friendly helpful staff - excellent location!
