“Needs a touch up”
The room size for the price point was not so good. Even for NYC standards. The carpet ,furniture was quite dated with chips on most of the furniture. The shower water pressures were weak for the 12th floor and the most appalling thing was dorm room style front doors. Not for a price of 1xxx.00. Location is the best but, finish the touches. Other LeMeridein has been much better also in very high sought cities.

“A lovely hotel but was slightly surprised as when I booked I signed up for the Viceroy. ”
The hotel was bought out by the Meridian and remodelled, so didn’t have the boutique look that the Viceroy had, or the extra touches. The hotel is more mainstream rather than the boutique touches that I prefer.’ Otherwise it was a lovely stay in a great location. Staff are friendly.

“Above average”
First they have me a room with blocked view, after keeping me waiting for 3 hours they changed the room to more reasonable room. The very loud fan in the bathroom can’t be turned off in all of the rooms and it will keep you up all night! Next day I used the hotel dryer to blowout my hair which went on fire after a minute and the funny thing is I couldn’t even the front desk since the phone in the room wasn’t working!!! Yes, that’s right! I tried to enjoy the entertainment (speaker) in the room which was broken too!! The room service food is terrible!!! I ordered a smoke salmon sandwich and they brought me burnt bagel deconstructed sandwich with tiny amount of Salmon for $18!!! Definitely not recommend this place as I really care about the whole experience and it was a pain throughout!
