Plenty of hotels are described as 'Luxury' but few actually make the mark: The Victoria does. The location is calm & quiet and the facilities are excellent. Be aware that you cannot really have a 'resort' or 'beach' hotel in Hoi An town itself (and it wouldn't have the 'calm' of the Victoria if you could). It has to be that short drive away, which is why the Victoria is where it is, along with all the other 'resort' hotels). Don't for one moment let that put you off, the location is great, it's a plus, the hotel operates a good (& free) shuttle bus to run you in and out of Hoi An. The rooms are like 'mini villas', spacious, well equipped, with good bathrooms and private terraces. It's really a 'resort' as it's all set in lawned gardens with fish ponds and palm trees, there's a beautiful 'infinity pool' looking out over the ocean, with a kiddies 'infinity pool' and plenty of loungers, sunshades and a poolside bar/snack bar (which does much more than snacks). A great place to sit looking over the ocean with a cocktail as evening falls . There's also a private beach (again with loungers and sunshades and staff to collect your drinks and food from the poolside bar. Plus there's a spa. The restaurant delivers delicious food (and excellent baguettes & patisserie) there's also a couple of bars to relax in, The hotel can arrange excursions etc., but my top tip is that they have a collection of vintage motorcycle & sidecar combinations (with drivers) that they will organise day trips (or short tours, or simply shuttles to Hoi An in). The day trips are fabulous and it's a great fun way to see this part of Vietnam, better than being in a car or bus but without the danger of being on a scooter. Frankly we wouldn't stay anywhere else in Hoi An (and we have before, but once you've found the Victoria you'll likely be a return guest). The staff are fabulous and know how to (and take pleasure in) delivering great service. This is not a 'budget hotel', you'll find cheape

Great beachfront Location and very relaxing!!!”
my husband and i stayed at the victoria hoi an for 5 nights after a 2 night stay in ho chi minh. we were looking for a hotel that would offer us the opportunity for some rest and relaxation. the victoria hoi an did not disappoint. we received a warm welcome from the staff who explained all the facilities the hotel had offer. we stayed in one of the beachfront junior suites. it was goregeous accomodation right on the beachfront. the suite was lovely and spacious with an outdoor shower and an indoor sunken spa bath. my only very minor criticism would be that there was a lack of wardrobe space for a suite of its size. the pool area was lovely, pool towels provided and a nice pool bar which also served snacks throughout the day. the breakfast was good with a nice choice of european and asian foods. we did eat dinner in the hotel restaurant on our last night. the food was very good but a bit more pricey than you might pay in hoi an, but that depends on where you eat. we used the hotel spa for a massage which was painfully relaxing if that makes sense. i tried the gym on one occassion, the treadmill, bike and crosstrainer all seemed ok but the weights were a bit on the rusty side...could do with updating. all in all we had an excellent stay at the victoria. it ticked all our boxes and i would highly recommend the hotel. the hotel also offered a courtesy bus throughout the day to hoi an town.
A piece of heaven”
We loved our stay at Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort and plan to come back again next year. The setting is picturesque, the beach clean and water warm and clear, and includes beach service for drinks and snacks. The rooms are beautiful. We stayed in a beach view suite with direct access to the beach outside our front door. Our suite was of Japanese design and included very comfortable king sized bed, lounge suite, separate sitting area, great outdoor private shower area, sunken spa/tub and was kept exceedingly well maintained throughout our stay. Breakfasts comprised an extensive buffet of local and western type foods that were fresh and delicious. The staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. A regular free shuttle was available for guests but a taxi was also only $5 so travel to Hoi An (5km) away was no issue. Bicycles were also available for free to ride around the fishing villages in the area. We would highly recommend this resort.
A pleasant place to spent a few days”
Really enjoyed our stay at the Victoria Hoi An. It is a very pretty resort, with lovely, well-tended gardens and a great pool. It does not have a beach per se; as it is shored up to a sea wall, but at either end of the resort, there is access to the beautiful Cua Dai beach. The resort does put out beds, tables and umbrellas on the beach occasionally, but this leads to pretty much the only issue we had during our stay here. There is not enough space. The beds around the pool get taken very early in the day; a lot of people putting their belongings on them before going to breakfast. This leaves the staff ('Beach Patrol') moving furniture for most of the day, setting up the beds, tables and umbrellas on the accessible bits of beach at either end of the resort - but even this isn't enough. It also seems that beds are left unused around the pool for hours on end, just because a towel has been left on them - staff unwilling to manage the allocation of space? Apart from that frustration, this is a lovely place to relax, breakfasts are excellent, the evening buffet is ok, the evening entertainments are a little dated - not sure they are actually necessary. Rooms are nice; big comfortable beds, spacious bathrooms, although replacing some of the lacquer wood furniture in the main room with some more comfortable furnishings might be an improvement - they can seem a little formal and fussy. Staff are friendly and helpful, and the free shuttle bus to the town centre is great if you want to spent time in the lovely town of Hoi An - great, cheap food everywhere.
Lovely hotel on the sea front, private beach, kind and gracious staff.”
The team at Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa instantly made us feel laid back and relaxed as soon as we arrived. We were greeted in reception with a gorgeous sea breeze, a warm smile and a cool drink while we checked-in. Our room was spacious, clean and decorated in a tasteful Vietnamese style. The pool and bar are located centrally - so all rooms are not far, and the private beach is a short stroll next to the hotel. Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa is a short cab cab ride away from into the town and the famous tailors.

Best Beach Resort in Hoi An”
We stayed for 3 nights and although we didn't get the best of weather, we had a delightful stay at the Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort & Spa. The beachfront villas are perfect for a romantic getaway and the outdoor shower is a nice touch along with the jacuzzi bath (might take a little while to fill). The rooms are spacious & clean with access to tv, gym facilities, tennis courts (x2 and racquets & balls are conveniently provided), games room, internet access and a sizeable pool. The rooms were made up twice a day for our stay with a lovely touch being the chocolates / rose / bedtime story left on the bed of an evening. Buffet breakfast if included in your package is definitely worthwhile.

Perfect stay for our Babymoon!”
We chose to stay at Victoria Hoi An beach resort because it had really good reviews and had its own private part of the beach as well as free shuttle service to the town centre. We stayed there for 6 nights and were not disappointed! Everything was perfect! Our house was in perfect condition and very clean too! Our bed and pillows were very comfy and felt very fresh. Loved the layout of the bedroom and bathroom facilities at the back of the bedroom and how we can access it from both sides. I was also surprised to see a variety of music CD's and DVD's in the room too and shows this resort has put great effort into making guests feel extra relaxed during their stay :) Morning buffet was good quality, enjoyable and there were lots of variety of food, but it was pretty much the same variety of food every morning though. I will definately visit this resort again! :)

A wonderful hotel in a beautiful location.”
We stayed four nights in this beautiful hotel with our two adult children. Our suite was beautiful! We were overlooking the ocean, with waves crashing against the rocks, just below our window. The bedroom was large, and attractively laid out. There was a small tea room between the bedroom and bath. The whirlpool tub was great, and I loved the experience of showering outdoors in the open air shower enclosure. Our kids had a lively room overlooking the garden white a great view of the ocean. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout or stay, and the Sunday brunch and breakfast buffets were outstanding. The large infinity pool overlooking the ocean was beautiful, and we enjoyed sitting on the comfortable recliners set around it. Sadly much of Cua Dai beach on which this resort is located, has been washed away through a combination of erosion and storms. In spite of thsi, I would still recommend this as a beautiful relaxing place to stay. They have restored a small section of beach beside the resort, which is quite nice, and one of the few beaches remaining in the area. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Hoi An. It is an easy trip into the old town and a beautiful relaxing place to escape the bustle of the town itself.

Perfect place to stay in every way”
Our family enjoyed everything about the Victoria Hoi An Resort & Spa. From the welcome drink to the quick & easy check-in and the exceptional staff & location.....our stay was A1. Our accommodations were spacious with large bathrooms, comfortable beds and crisp white linen. Facilities were also excellent, gym, pool, and access to the beautiful private beach. The massages were also very good!! Our only con would be the shower facilities........showers were not strong enough. Thank you to the management & staff of Victoria Hoi An Resort......we will definitely be back and will highly recommend the Resort.

The Victoria Hoi An was a regular holiday venue when we were living in Vietnam between 2005-2009. Going back in 2018, I was impressed by the upkeep of the hotel and the improvements that have been made e.g. providing free drinking water throughout the resort, free printing in the business center using a wireless printer! The physical landscape has changed with the original beach having been eroded, but the addition of a wooden staircase that goes directly into the water had actually made it better. There is still a sandy beach available at the far end of the resort so we also enjoyed strolling along the beach. The breakfast buffet was excellent with local specialties offered daily. We appreciated the complimentary shuttle bus to and from the shopping area and could even walk to some of the restaurants nearby. The only downside is that the road in front of the resort is now a bit busier than before during the daytime so perhaps should have booked a garden or beach facing room.
Dear Marie, Thank you for giving a great rating. It truly was our pleasure to know that you all had a wonderful experience and loved our resort. Wonderful, beautiful resort”
We stayed at the Victoria Hoi An resort during the rainy season, but the resort and staff were wonderful. The food at the onsite restaurant was very good - a mixture of Western and Asian dishes. Housekeeping was on point the entire time we were there! Not only did they know us by name and sight, but several times as we walked out of our rooms during different points in the day, we would return an hour later to find the room freshly made up or we'd be asked if they could make up the room while we were out. I wonder if this is because there are a smaller of guests that are easier to keep track of during the rainy season or if this is because their hospitality is that good :) Be aware that the resort is a ways from Old Town. You'll be located among the nicer resorts, but this means a long distance to all of the sights and Old Town. The resort does offer free bicycles you can ride into town (4km each way), but if you're not up for this, you'll have to call an Uber or schedule the hotel sh

Superb Gem in Hoi AN”
This was our second time staying at a Victoria Hotel, first experience in 2014 in Sapa led us to choose the Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort and we were even more pleased. From the moment we arrived at this beautiful resort and were warmly greeted, to the friendly warm check in which was smooth and efficient to every every moment we spent at the Victoria we felt we had made the right choice. The pool lounge even delivered our drinks to us as we relaxed at the beach. We will most definitely be back and also recommend to all our friends. Thank you to Ms. Van and her team on the upgrade and the beautiful touches in our suite to acknowledge our our 28th wedding anniversary which we were celebrating on this holiday.

We spent two nights in Hoi An at Victoria Hoi An Spa & Resort. We loved this resort very much. From the moment of checking in, we felt impressive by the high quality of staff, service and environment. Everything was so satisfactory with clean/comfy rooms, courteous staff, yummy breakfast buffet, facilities like swimming pool, private beach, tennis courts, table tennis, free use of bicycles, shuttle bus to Hoi An town. It is well worth the money to stay in this resort. Highly recommended!

beautiful resort hotel and great food”
we stayed at the victoria hoi an in january 2013 and loved the location, the food, and the service. the food and excursions are on the pricey side, comparatively, but i suppose it is just part of being at that price level. every hotel employee we interacted with was very helpful and overall it was a very nice, relaxing resort experience. the shuttle into hoi an was convenient and we used bikes one day to bike into town. for us, it was very nice to be with a pool and on the beach - tradeoff is that we weren't smack dab in town. breakfast was included and was huge and very well done with many delicious options.

Love this resort!”
I spent ages deciding which resort to stay at in Hoi An and I'm glad I eventually chose Victoria! It's really good value for money, with everything you would hope for at a beach resort. Staff are friendly and helpful, the perfect private beach is just a couple of minutes walk away through the beautiful resort gardens, buffet breakfast has plenty of options, there's a free shuttle bus into Hoi An old town (except during the hottest part of the day when you'll want to be poolside!), and some nice touches in the rooms like beach bags and straw hats, plenty of free bottled water and every night a different traditional Vietnamese story with your bedtime chocolate.

Beautiful and Relaxing ”
We stayed at Victoria for 6 days. Although very hot the resort was amazing. We stayed in a suite right on a private little beach. Waking up every morning and walking straight into the ocean for a swim, the perfect start to the day. Breakfast was always good and the staff couldn't do enough for you. The bar area by the ocean was a great way to fill in a couple of hours with a cool breeze and cocktails to ease the heat of the day. The suites where huge and had a private out door shower,a deep spa bath and huge comfy bed. Well worth the extra cost great value. Not far from Hoi An town by taxi or free shuttle. But always relieved to get back to the resort away from the hustle, bustle and heat. Definitely recommend this resort and hopefully will return in the future.

Better facilities than the website suggests”
Like a lot of Vietnamese tourism, the Victoria Hoi An understates what it has to offer if you refer to their website. Booking direct with the resort we arrived and were thrilled to discover an amazing breakfast buffet included, tennis courts & gym, huge pool (and smaller kiddie pool) as well as a private beach with small waves and water sports and nightly events poolside entertainment such as calligraphy, bbq, lantern making and traditional dancing. Staff all have a great knowledge of the local area including Hoi An old town and surrounds. The free resort shuttle into old town suited us on most occasions but if not, an AUD $6 taxi is easy to find. Super relaxing conclusion to our Vietnam holiday.

i had an amazing stay at the victoria hoi an resort. it was actually better than the pictures i've seen and usually it's the other way around! as soon as i walked into the lobby, you can see a beautiful view of the pool and the ocean. we were lucky the weather was clear and sunny for the 3nights we stayed. the resort wasn't overcrowded, the staff were really friendly and i loved the private beach. so relaxing! going into hoi an town was easy with the shuttle bus every hour. the rooms were very clean and i loved the spacious bathrooms and clean linens! all in all, there is only positive things to say about this place and i highly recommend it to all potential travelers. there will be no regrets!

Peaceful Retreat & Wonderful Staff”
For my whole stay at the hotel, I never felt like I was just a room number. The staff felt like family. They were amazingly wonderful and accomodating. They were intuitive enough to leave you alone, when you needed to be. From the security, cleaning, front desk, restaurant pool & spa staff alll were very helpful & friendly even things like sharing Vietnamese phrases, a general chat & sorting things out. Most of the staff spoke English well, and no reasonable request was too hard for them. In some areas of Vietnam, staff demand tips, but I felt a heartfelt, caring service form the hotel staff at Victoria Hoi An. There is a wonderful selection of Western and Asian foods for breakfast. They also provide a very handy shuttle bus to town. Wifi connection was excellent. I felt so relaxed & at home. The location was far enough from the busy town but convenient enough to get there easily. Massages that they offer at the spa are excellent and very professional. I can’t find any to fault..
Dear Ms. Christina, Thank you very much for staying with us here at Victoria Hoi An Beach Resort and Spa, for your amazing review and wonderful recommendation of our property. We do hope that you continue to share these with family & friends that will result in a return visit, we would be delighted to welcome you back. With best regards, The management team
everything about the victoria was impressive. it was well designed and personal. it is definitely not one of those enormous fort-like hotels that you see along china beach in danang. the location is great - close to hoi an old town - and quiet enough so that you don't feel like one among a mass of tourists. the service standard is amazing. simply said, i've never seen better coordination among the staff as in hoi an. they work really hard and work invisibly, it seems. our room was cleaned while we were at breakfast (20 minutes) and are always ready to help. we asked about the boats in the sea and one of our waiters told us about how the fisherman work - little things like that really make a difference. we went on from the victoria after a few days and, sadly, never found a hotel in the rest of vietnam that came even a little close to what we experienced there.
