Generally very good all round, bigger than you think but not in a negative way. Good cosy feel in restaurant and bar areas, cleaners daily visits commendable. Good central position for touring N.S.E. and W. Good stuff.

Great night away.. Staff were super friendly. Neat and tidy room, beautiful restaurant, young and trendy front bar on weekend nights, Gorgeous park across the road, good price, a little more breakfast in room would be nice... perhaps some yogurt and fruit?? Perfect little town to call into... Loved it thank you!!

We'd stay there again”
We stayed for a couple of nights. If you want the reception then enter from the back of the hotel otherwise it's hard to find. The staff were excellent. Undercover parking is only for 3 cars and one of those is only for a small car. Easy to walk from there to most other places in Strathalbyn.

I can only agree with previous reviews, it was an excellent stay at an excellent hotel, expectations were exceeded - very friendly staff, good food and good prices, the rooms very clean, the continental breakfast just enough to start the day - I would highly recommend this hotel, a wonderful weekend away, we will certainly be back, cheers.

Friendly, helpful and cheerful staff, nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is very good, we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner. The rooms need cheering up a bit with a coat of lighter paint. Giving only one free hour of internet access between two people is out of step with most people’s expectations.

Australia day weekend stay”
Dinning area nicely renovated. Food was very good. Hotel complex overall had a good feel to it and staff were very friendly and attentive. Accommodation was basic but kept clean each day, I would recommend staying at this hotel

Rather disappointing”
Our room was at the back of the hotel and (like all) on the first floor. It was fronted by a common walkway which impacts privacy and there was a light just outside our door. We could have used the blackout curtains but that would have been claustrophobic. There was a bit of traffic noise after 7am. The room was clean and did include a basic DIY breakfast, and we did have free parking downstairs. Check in and out was easy but a request to check out later than 10am was met with a "Yes, but that will be an extra $30". The restaurant and bar are okay but there are better value options in town and at least one better place to stay

Weekend Getaway”
The Victoria Hotel has friendly helpful staff and nice meals. The accommodation was good for 3 star and the room was clean. The building did smell a bit musty though. The continental breakfast was great. They advertise free wifi but it is limited to only an hour or 800mb. Otherwise no issues.

Exceptional”
This is an excellent motel, the food is exceptional, the rooms and clean and comfortable, any of the staff are friendly and helpful nothing seems to be too much trouble. I was traveling on my own this time usually I have a friend with me I felt safe and not alone. Staff came passed me at the table and asked me how the meal was or just a quick word even though the dinning room was full and they were very busy. I would recommend this motel to anyone that was looking for top class accommodation just what I needed after a long trip in the car Kind Regards Jenny Siviour 0438882086

On the Monday morning we needed to get back to the racecourse to pick our car up.The taxi firm had closed the previous month so we would have to work.A lovely staff member didnt want to see us walk so she dropped us off in her car.Sometimes its the little things! Fantastic staff!

Last minute ”
Cause it was New Year’s Eve most places were already booked out. This place was convenient and provided a continental breakfast. Only down side was trying to find the reception to check in there were no signs but the friendly staff led us to the reception.
