A very friendly and hslpful staff
Internet Wifi accessibility, good location for dinning and very firendly staff.
I left my iPad on the bus when I was on the way to Hamilton. The lady working in Victoria Hotel Suites is very helpful of communicating with bus company and coordinate the lost and found activities. I was able to get my iPad back the next day. Really appreciate the help form this hotel staff.

Good if you just need a bed
Large room, clean sheets, air-con.
Stay was average, our room had no balcony liked advertised. You can tell owners are trying to make modern and nice but not quiet there. Our room was a disabled room which would be good if I needed it but we didn't. Free wifi didn't get reception in our room. Nice hotel if you only need it for place to sleep.

clean & good parking
clean & good parking, nice staff
We felt very ripped off that agoda advertised this hotel as being down from $245 approx to $98. This was not true. It was only a studio unit without a full kitchen. This is incorrdct advertising. Regards Bridget Parker

Great quality hotel for relaxed stay
On site parking, very welcoming staff, great supply of crockery for self catering
I was able to check in early and we were given a double queen studio which was a bit bigger than the one we had reserved. It had a dining table and chairs, a very small kitchenette area but very well equipped with fridge, microwave, toaster, kettle, full 4-person crockery set, cutlery and glasses. My husband was working so I was in and out of the room during the days - the staff were friendly and helpful. The manager offered to let me use the hotel laundry if I needed to - had already used the guest one so didn't. I was able to leave the car in the hotel parking space for a couple of hours after check-out on the day we left. When I arrived, there was some matter on the inside of the window, which I showed the cleaner - she cleaned it straight away. The bathroom is spacious but could do with another towel rail or perhaps a couple of hooks on the wall or back of door. All in all we had a good stay at Victoria Suites and would happily return.

Fine for summer temperatures
Location, room layout, and staff friendliness good.
Everything was fine in terms of the room itself. Exceptions were finding under the back lip of toilet from previous use. More importantly there was not enough bedding for winter temperatures (including extra blanket in cupboard) which meant waking at 3.30am and despite putting the heatpump up to 31 degrees, it was clearly a lot cooler than this and meant I stayed awake shivering for the remainder of the night (feet and hands frozen) which resulted in me leaving the hotel early.
