Above averageHad to pay extra for parking. Room was very basic and small for two people. Shower did not drain so had to use another one. Had to go to reception for hairdryer. TV didn’t work v well in sitting room. No TV in room. Didn’t try breakfast. Staff, however, were lovely and helpful.

Worth the moneyIt might be an old building & interior. But the staffs are welcoming and friendly. For a night stay it really worth the money. Even though book directly would cheaper.

Good value stayA very friendly and chilled out hotel, which historically was the Lord Mayor of Manchester's residence. It's basic in that there are no tvs in the rooms but it does have good wifi from rooms and tea and coffee facilities. I took a family room for myself, wife, 8 year old son and two year old daughter. We'd just arrived from Beijing, needing to go to the Chinese consulate. The hotel is situated 5 minutes walk from there and 3 minutes from the heart of the Currie mile in Manchester's Rusholme. The family room we were in had a double and single bed, It was clean and the bathroom had been recently decorated and refitted. The breakfast consists of tea, coffee, juices, toast, cereals etc. it's a serve yourself situation and supplies are regularly restocked. We spent two nights at the hotel, which were quiet and restful. I would happily return to the hotel for its friendly understanding and historical former glory.

Basic but considerate accomodationA pleasant stay with very friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere. Pity that I couldn't access internet connection from my room but I could do that from the salon with nice couches, TV and a fireplace with nice, traditional interior. More of a mansion than the typical 'hotel' but good for those on budget trips and likes traditional style accommodation.

    Zentrales gelegenes Hotel”

    Für Manchester eher günstig

Frühstück sehr sporadisch. 2 Scheiben Toast, 1 Spiegel, O-Saft und/oder Kaffee in unbegrenzter Menge. Keine Wurst beim Frühstück.
