Loved our stay at the Galena Inn, highly recommend it. Looking forward to our next visit!”

Breakfast was exceptionally delicious, our hostess was courteous, polite and accommodating. We stayed in the Jackson Room and found it (along with the entire Victorian Mansion) to be charming, romantic and whimsical. Before dinner, we would relax on the front porch, sip our cocktails and take in the lovely views. Picturesque, convenient location, only a 10 minute walk from the strip in downtown Galena. Thoroughly enjoyed walking through the beautiful neighborhood and admiring the all of the other magnificent historic homes.

such a quaint place”

such a cool place with a great location. beautiful grounds, home and owner. she was very accommodating as I accidentally book for the wrong night, and she graciously rearranged things for us. we sat on the porch after dinner and it was delightful. we stayed on the third floor in the ” maids” quarters. I wish those walls could talk.

We loved this place, the location and everything about it!”

The Inn was beautiful, and it was nice to have extra rooms (sitting room, billiard room) to be in when we were not out and about. The breakfast was a selection of lovely fresh fruit, breads, and an omelette made fresh.

We though it was very spacious and had lots of personal touches we really liked!!!
The cable TV was terrible, it froze and made a horrible high pitched buzzing sound!

Hotel is really lovely. Our room was super nice (vintage) and bedding was super comfortable! The buildings are vintage, but the window air conditioner in our unit was enough to keep us cool on two hot summer nights. Our host was friendly and efficient!
the backyard grounds and outdoor lawn furniture looked unkempt . The backyard hot tub was not operable..and water was dirty inside, like it had not been used in 12 months.

Wonderful stay at a beautifully restored Victorian home with a perfect location.”

Wonderful Victorian home with modern amenities. Comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was great both mornings of our stay. Location is perfect for a short walk in to downtown. Highly recommend for a weekend get away.
Hot tub was not heating so could not be used. Grounds are beautiful but needed yard work. Window AC unit was noisy at times.

Super attentive staff, very cozy and welcoming accommodations. Loved the outdoor patios on both the first & second floors. But the best of all was the breakfast. Absolutely delicious & fresh! I keep thinking about it days later!
A little tough to climb the narrow steps to the third floor with luggage.
