extra charges for gym and swimming pool + noise absorption work needs to be done”
Everything is nice and clear. Breakfast is also included. Need to pay VND$60,000 for using gym and swimming pool on the same day. Sometimes it would be noisy even after midnight as the hotel is located at main street and traffic noise could be a problem.
Air-con noise , Staff cant understand ENGLISH , Bed very hard i cant sleep for 4 night . Only the break frist is good but only 3 hrs . Frist day i has miss my Break frist . I Dont recommed this motel to my friends. And i never n never stay this hotel again .
Clean, comfortable hotel”
Stayed in the Deluxe Room With Window. Room size was okay. The room looked dated but it was clean and well maintained. Air conditioning could be controlled so I could set it at just the right temperature. There is a supermarket and some restaurants just 3 minutes walk behind the hotel. There are also restaurants 1 minute walk to the right of the hotel. Breakfast is pretty good. There is also an in-house spa but I didn't try it.
overall stay is fine, very good location all walking distance for tourist spots... except for massage, very disappointing, felt like wasted money and the masseur wearing a super mini skirt that can see their butt which looks indecent. pool is not included in the payment, u need pay separately if u want to use.
all the way worth it to stay! walking distance to all historical places.. good staff, very nice service except in their massage service, price of 290vnd in the reception area, when u go up to their massage parlor its 350vnd which is so confusing. and u are obliged to give tip! u can’t go without giving some amount. plus their masseur omg wearing a very mini skirt that can see their buttock! better wear a bit decent, something that covers ur part. thats the only thing made our trip disappointed.
Convenient location. Accommodating staff. Delicious breakfast.”
Thanks for the stay. Older style hotel and facilities. Delicious buffet breakfast. Front desk and security staff friendly and accomodating when requesting a room change - its very noisy if your room faces the street. Very close to the Independence Palace and War Remnants Museum.
Quick ride to the AP”
Only booked here so I could get to the AP for an AM flt. Hotel is on a back street with major construction in front. My room was on the inside with no windows but is was quite. Rooms was big, bathroom was good, breakfast was good. They have a pool but did not get a chance to use it, but it looks for exercise laps.
Very near War Remnants Museum. Room was clean. Toilet seat was clean. From this hotel you can walk to Bitexco. Not really far. The staff in the reception speak Emglish. Near reception there is Business center where you can use computer with Excellent wifi connection.
Spacious hotel at reasonable fare ”
Spacious room with proper gym and pool facilities. Friendly and helpful staff made staying comfortable. Close to the Independent Hall and a supermarket - Co op mart, and a nice delicious vegetarian restaurant - Hum restaurant.
Excellent staff, breakfast, location, BUT...”
We loved this hotel with the exception of the first couple days. Upon arrival our first night of vacation was greeted with loud construction at 3am in the morning just below our room. Our second day was spent catching up on our sleep. The next morning I requested a room change and was told they were fully booked and the construction was finished. As a paying customer I expected some kind of compensation for a sleepless night and half day wasted the next day as we caught up with our sleep. However, I was told by the staff that the manager offered nothing. Now, I don't blame the staff because they were very helpful during our whole stay. But I think management could have handled the situation better. The last thing a disgruntled customer wants to hear is "sorry, we can't do anything". The manager should have offered a personal apology, free drink at the bar, or something. It just started our trip on a sour note and made my relationship with the staff feel a bit awkward at first. I despise people who behave like "ugly Americans" demeaning local peoples. Fortunately, our stay just got better day by day along with smiles from the staff. On our last day they even provided us with free airport transportation. I will definitely come back to this hotel, but one suggestion to the management is to deal with dissatisfied customers in a better way. Other than the day 1 incident, your hotel provided 5 star service and accommodation.
Nice place, just a few blocks from sightseeing”
Room was nice enough, as expected. Rooftop pool was great but had swimming lessons for kids in the morning, so was a bit noisy. Much quieter place to stay that in District 1, but close enough to walk or a quick taxi ride. Buffet breakfast had a good selection.
location, breakfast cleaness”
The hotel condition is good , housekeeping is good ,many choice breakfast and good taste, but my room with front of main street is very noicy , first night i cannot slept .overall the hotel is ok.walking distance to war remnant museum and palace.
A nice hotel”
An old, but well maintained hotel with nice staff. Non-smoking rooms throughout the hotel. Breakfast buffet was nice, you can choose from pho to fresh fruits. the roof top swimming pool was okay, but go there early as it gets crowded and they have swimming classes in the afternoon.
good value for money, pool on the rooftop!”
The airco was a bit noisy, but on the second night I was already used to it. The friendliest staff ever! Not trying ti sell you anything, helping with the luggage for free. Huge breakfast buffet, mostly asian food, but enough Western food. The pool is wondeful to cool down after a hot day in the city.
Value for money”
excellent value for the price that we paid. the room was clean and spacious, the hotel provided a full suite of toiletries. it was not far from all the places i wanted to go to, walking distance to a supermarket, walking distance to good food. it had a swimming pool, which was amazing for the price paid. however, the swimming pool was extremely crowded. it looked like a public pool.
Hotel is great for a 3star category. A good thing is customer service they allowed us to check in a bit early without extra charges. Breakfast serve in buffet a lot of choices. One thing i hated most bed!!! Too hard now I believed to some review I dont know what kind of material is that.
Good Hotel with good location”
Good hotel with excellent rooms (not new, but cute with carpets). Not expensive for its quality this hotel has great reataurant with assorted buffet breakfast. Low prices for dining and spa and massage. Good hotel to stay for two nights in the city. Wedding ceremonies goes in this hotel at weekends. Good security level, and really protected safeboxes in the rooms. This hotel located near Reunification Palace.
Surprisingly Good Value ”
i wasn't sure what to expect from the victory as it was only $42 per night. however i was pleasantly surprised. the rooms are quite large, really clean and light. the bathroom quite modern and the tv's new lcd models. it is fairly centrally located near the war remnants museum, just a few minutes walk to the centre of district 1. the rooftop pool was great and the breakfast buffet quite large and with a good variety of western and asian choices. overal i would recommended the victory and would definitely stay again.
Bad services, stinky room, old towel”
Ex. Promise take out breakfast, but didn’t do it! Bathroom stink after toiletwater! After the shower use the towel is no shower because the towel so was old, too humide&old! Won’t never stay in this hotel anymore!
Better that expected”
I was pleasantly surprised by the room.It was very nice and bathroom with Jacuzzi and steam bath was wonderful. Did not visit the pool but still seems that it should be included in price of the room. Breakfast was very good.
