Wonderful hotel in city centre”
I had a most wonderful stay in Kempinski Vier Jahreszeiten Hotel. I booked the hotel last-minute (a day before my arrival) for their single business room. The room is quite small, but for the price and location, I was happy with what I got. The staff was very friendly and efficient. I booked an opera through the concierge and they got me the middle seat in the middle row of the Parlett. I especially love the friendly atmosphere of the bar -- it's rather old-fashioned but you can sit in comfortable leather chairs (rather than high chairs) even at the bar counter. The afternoon tea at the lobby must be pretty good, too, given the constant crowd, though I didn't try it myself. I'd look no further if I want a centrally located and reasonably-priced luxury hotel in Munich.
Excellent location!!!! Classic hotel in the city!!! Great bar!!!”
Dated public areas, need refurbishment. Rooms have been refurbished and upgraded, compared to other hotels are a little small, very good service and amenities . I have stayed here before and I will stay here again. I was impressed with the "Kempinsky" service, on par to other high end hotel brands.
Stay was pleasant. Good location as it's near to the town square & shopping area. Nice rooms with iPad controlled applications. Though it didn't work for us. Room was quite cold during our stay, tried to turn on a higher temp to keep warm but unable to do so.
Five star hotel but poor staff performance”
Overall, location was great. However, I had a infant child and the entire hotel had no place to push the baby troll as they only had stairs or steps. Since the hotel was busy the staff performance and service was bad even though it was not an excuse for them. Bathroom shower had good lightning but leaked water all over the bathroom floor. They should increase their services according to the star rating.
Great luxury hotel at affordable price”
This is our second stay. The location is superb; very convenient walking distance to Marien Platz. Lots of good restaurants around. The Christmas market and shopping arcadebare so loosed. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is excellent. They serve both European and Asian favorites. We definitely come back here again.
Great value for luxurious”
This is our second stay and we will definitely come back here. The location is superb. There are great restuarants around and short walking distance to town hall and shopping. Hotel decoration and service is great. Lobby is very lively. Breakfast is excellent, they serve both European and Asian favorite.
Super service, very close to all sights”
The hotel is located in a historic looking building in the old town 5 min walk from Marienplatz. You wont find much better hotel locations in Munich if you go for sightseeing. The service set a new standard of quality. The staff is so super friendly, seems they want to read all your wishes from your eyes. Any complain or request you may have, they fix within minutes with a smile. The room itself was very good (we were even upgraded for free), however I found the room size rather on the small side for the price. The blankets were unusually small (didnt cover my feet), so we had to order 2 additional blankes which they delivered within 2 minutes.
Beautiful hotel - but being renovated ”
Our rooms weren't cleaned when we checked in so we have the check in agent our telephone number to call when they were finished. Apparently she didn't know that lithuania is in the EU. Because when she true to call us (even though I gave her the exact number and country code) she didn't know how to dial within the EU. We waited and waited for her call; until we finally just went back to the hotel. She said my phone wasn't working; I asked to use her phone and called my mobile right there. Perhaps just a minor geography lesson is needed for the front desk staff! None the less the rooms were SUPER. (but small superior rooms).
Very Good ”
the most i liked about this hotel is the location , cleanliness, friendly staff and good food. i will be visiting munich next year and will probably choose this hotel again.i highly recommend it to munch vistors
The Kempinski Vier Jahreszeiten is located in a beautiful part of town, near best shopping and the National Theatre. It is well appointed and although the rooms are somewhat small in some cases, they were comfortable. When the internet connection in my room didn't work, they accommodated me in a different room and that was helpful. Coffee and tea service in the lobby was lovely. Food for our conference was excellent quality.

Overall is good. only room is too small.”
The reception is very helpful, the first priority I choose this hotel is the location and the Kempinski brand which is guaranteed a first class hotel service.
Close to shocking experience”
Being a guest of this hotel for nearly 20 times I have been shocked that on this visit I have been treated quite unacceptably taking in regards the level of the hotel ( not even to mention that I am a platinum member of the hotel group) . The room has not been upgraded, the service was very average + on the check out they have asked me to pay for the FT newspaper 60 euro cent !! We haven't even asked for it + as a member I should be getting it for free. It is not the money - but the approach I have not understood. I was quite sad to experience this, as I am a very committed customer of Kempinsky and wherever I go, I always choose their hotels. However, I hope that this experience has been mostly because of the busy period of Oktoberfest and I will not get to experience it again.
Disappointing hotel for the price you pay”
We stayed in the Kempinski in September 2013 for just 1 night and unfortunately we found it quite disappointing. The room in itself is nice enough, however the shampoo, conditioner and shower gel bottles all had broken seals and were half full, so it makes me doubt whether they really did a good check on the room and whether they cleaned it well. To be fair: it did look clean though. The business center really cannot be called a business center. I was unable to print a number of things that I badly needed and the computer in the business center gave all kinds of virus alerts, which may have been spam as the girl behind the reception was saying, however it does not exactly feel reassuring. When calling the reception to pick up our bags, no one was answering the phone, even after repeated calls. In addition it took ages to get our car, when we wanted to leave. I understand it was busy as the Oktoberfest was about to start, however it clearly did not go very smoothly and looked very inefficient.
a heaven for shopaholic! ”
the buildingl is quiet old but they renovated the hotel so everything inside the room looks so new and modern! I love this hotel will absolutely come back and stay in this hotel in the future
