Perfect oasis”
The family is lovely, the place is beautiful, clean, quiet and good for the spirit. I had sunny and windy weather, in a splendid oasis full of plants, good food and nice people where I could rest from the noise and the pollution of big cities. The family can cook special dinners for everybody with very good food (also vegetarian!), You can join some math lessons cause the owner is a retired teacher who gives lessons to local kids, help by teaching kids a bit of English (or learn some from them!) And also play with them. If you stay at least two nights you can also get a free tour of Kon Tum for half a day. Communication is sometimes hard through google translator but the kindness and live you get every day from the family perfectly compensate! I definitely recommend to visit the area of Kon Tum and to stay at this ho estay, you will be regenerated and you won't want to leave!

Our Vietnamese family! ”
I have nothing but great things to say about this homestay! Yes, location-wise it is a fair distance from the main town... but with this being said, it was wonderful to come home to a welcoming and hospitable family. Mumma Mai was a delight! She and her family were so welcoming and helpful. Having dinner with the family every night was fantastic - plenty of vegetarian options freshly picked from the garden and the best spring rolls in Vietnam! The room was clean, bed was comfortable and bathrooms had hot showers (amazing after a day of exploring the countryside)! Seriously the most comfortable and caring family homestay we have ever stayed in. Highly recommend ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ we will definitely come back one day soon.

THE BEST PEOPLE TO LIVE WITH”
it is the best Homestay we've ever lived at. Papa and Mama host were amazing. Papa is a retired chef and the breakfast (noodles) were amazing. we suggest having dinner with them to try Papa's cooking. veggies are also from the garden in the Homestay. really fresh and sweet. mama is a retired teacher and teaches students for free. she invited us to teach simple English to the kids and it was a great experience. stay for minimum 2 nights and get a free tour in Kontum city with Papa (you gotta ride tho). you can rent a bike from the Homestay but the bike was a little faulty (front brakes don't work) basically the most sincere and best people to stay with!

Fantastic place, so welcoming”
This was my first stay in a homestay. I was a little worried about how welcome you would be made to feel. I needn’t have worried. The whole family were wonderful. The (adult) daughter speaks perfect English and was always around when needed. The rest of the family don’t speak much English at all but still interact with the guests and they are all lovely. There was food and drinks available whenever we wanted and we were invited to have dinner with the family which was really nice. They won’t let you leave the table until you’re well fed and there’s plenty of happy water being poured also. The rooms were really well decorated and a lot of thought had gone into making guests as comfortable as possible. I would recommend this to anyone and if you can, stay more than one night. I wish I had been able to.

Fantastic Stay”
I highly recommend staying here. The whole family is just lovely, and the home cooked meals are ridiculously good. Not only that, but you'll also get a nice tour of the city and surrounding area if you're booked in for 2 or more nights. Loved my time here, and have made great friends as well that I've been travelling the rest of Vietnam with!

Clean,comfortable, interesting stay in kon tum”
Really enjoyed my time here. The family are all lovely and the young girl speaks very good English and was very helpful pointing out things to see in the local area. The tour offered if you stay 2 nights was excellent. Food is fairly priced and very tasty, the family dinner especially so. Beds are clean and massive. Secure place to park your bikes also. Would stay here again if ever in kontum. Thanks!

It's a very nice place, you can easily meet people who are travelling but the biggest advantage is the kindness of the family, who will do everything they can to help you and who will treat you as a member of the family. Good diner cooked by the family with fresh vegetables from the garden !

This is what a HOMESTAY should be”
I am a solo cyclist, bikepacking all the way from Malaysia. I reached the homestay quite late but I was welcomed warmly by the host's father. The host family treated me as if I am their own family member. This is truly the definition of a homestay - feel like at HOME!! Their family dinner and breakfast were delicious 😋 The father is truly an amazing cook. Originally I planned to stay for just one night, but then I extend my stay for a another 5 nights. I spend almost all my time in the homestay, relaxing and chill. This is one homestay you definitely don't want to miss!!
