Amazing Place to Stay”
We were very amazed with our stay at this hotel from the second we walked into the property. The staff were very friendly and helpful and accommodating and really made the effort to help us with everything we needed. The rooms were very clean and spacious. It’s located a little bit farther away from everything central but not too far (about a 10-15 min walk). The pool was great and the breakfast was good. Overall, a really great place to stay. Will definitely stay here again if we come back.

Very impressive establishment”
The Garden is extremely well kept, room is up to date and clean. Staff are courteous and helpful. Breakfast is very good, with fresh baked bread/cake. Staff responded to minor issues quickly and with responsibility. Afternoon tea is decent.Basically everything is perfect, location etc. Only slight minor drawbacks is that hot water shower is fairly limited (in time 4-5mins max)- I experienced this at another hotel so I think equipment just isn't tuned to provide "hot" water but rather lukewarm, for most people I think this may not be an issue. Another slight drawback is the restaurant food- while the overall establishment I'd give 5/5, the food probably would just be 3.5/5 (with emphasize on dinner). Tried 3 different soups and they were all too salty, pizza (even though it's an Italian establishment) was just mediocre (compared to Vancouver, NY, Chicago, Jp). But the dinner pricing is fair because you are on the beach and the service is great. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a great stay at Vila Almarik. The location is a short walk from the ferry, and across the road is the ocean, with plenty of options to book boat trips and hire snorkling gear. We saw massive turtles in front of the hotel. The room was nice and tidy, with aircon. Breakfast was also delicious!!

Great hotel close to centre but far enough away to be quiet. Very clean with a very good pool. Its Greatest value its the Staff and the very good restaurant.Sit on the beach and have the greatest pizza in Lombok

An "easy living" experience in Gili T”
Villa Almarik provides most of what you could ask for, if you are in Gili Trawangan. Large and comfortable rooms (actually mini villas of more than 50 sqm) with an ample bathroom, lot of complementaries, few meters of distance from the beach (one of the best spot on the island), a nice on-the-beach restaurant and a responsive staff. To be picky, the rooms need a bit more maintenance and are not exactly sunny, though the generous windowed surface, but these are minor issues. That said, value for money is still high and I reccommend a stay at this resort.

Pleasant hotel”
The staff were exceptional not just friendly but even went out of there way to help. We mentioned that we liked Indonesian food particularly tempe and Rahma brought us fried tempe in the afternoon. The property is kept clean and plenty of staff around. The superior room was very spacious. The only con being no privacy, the villa has curtains but they are transparent and the bathroom is all glass so can be seen from outside. Would highly recommend this place if your heading to Gili Trawangan.

Nice big rooms, quiet location near beach”
Large clean rooms. Lovely staf who make u feel very welcome. Walk to the beach in a few steps where u can go snorkeling with turtles. Swimmingpool is a bit old , but why go to a swimmingpool if u can choose the sea. Breakfast is a bit standard, coffee not so nice. Will stay here again if i visit Gili T

Our 1st stay they didn’t charge for extra bed (2adult.2 children) this time they want extra money 750 thousand rupiah . I was disappointed. WiFi was slow Garden is v nice. Breakfast is simple but fulfilling. Staff is very very helpful & kind. Swimming pool is nice. Over all from 10 I will give it 7. Thank you.

Very expensive for what it is. Swimming pool not accessible. No wifi in the rooms. The staff is not nice. The breakfast is disappointing. I think it has been a great hotel in the past but not anymore (covid?). I hope they will recover and be better because they deserve 2 stars maximum nowadays. By the way the rooms are not entirely closed so many spiders and insects inside. And the bathroom is falling appart.

Exotic Elegance”
In Gili Trawangan (GT) it is difficult to find good accommodation unless you book ahead. We were forced to change our travel plans and were very fortunate to book a villa at Villa Almarik - on the beach at the northern end of GT, only 10 to 15 minutes stroll to the village centre. It has the benefit of not being “in town” where it seems that most parties are every night, and not near the mosque. VA is self contained with a dive shop, tours booked from the front desk, breakfast with a view across the beach to Gili Meno, large pool and spa/ massage centre. Their restaurant is on the beach, across the road, where lunch and dinner are served. All “beach hotels” are actually across the road, where carriages drawn by miniature horses serve as taxis run by – no motorized transport is available in GT. We were met at the harbor by a VA staff who held our name sign. We were quickly transported by a Trawangan Cidomo (horse drawn carriage) to VA and served a cold towel and welcome drink. Everything has a personal touch at VA and all gardens, furniture and buildings are in excellent condition. Their efficient and friendly staff checked us in quickly and nothing was too much trouble. We were always greeted with a friendly smile. The room was large and spotlessly clean, king size comfortable bed, separate lounge/day bed, full minibar and efficient aircon. The tropical bathroom had its own private garden and a large open shower with a good supply of hot water. VA have concentrated on presentation, with a starfish emphasis and rooms have a well presented frangipani influence. The wifi seems to fade at times, so if I needed an extended session I went to the reception area. Well done Villa Almarik!!

Turtle Point beach just outside hotel”
Best value from Agoda promo, with breakfast for 3. The hotel itself was well built, well used, well worn but everything in full working order - Old world charm. Our highlight was swimming with the turtles in the sea just outside the hotel. The hotel threw in everything for us - complimentary tea, complimentary 15 min intro massage for each of us, and late checkout! Our extra bed was a proper comfortable bed. Everything was available just outside the hotel - trip bookings, rent of snorkel gear/bikes, food. Transport from Lombok airport to Gili Trawangan was arranged by the hotel. A bit expensive because it was private and able to transport 5 to 6 pax instead of just 3 of us. But it was worth it. No hassle, good friendly service, no need to wait, everything arranged from airport to landing in beach right in front of hotel and back. The hotel staff also planned the timing of the return trip to perfection, a really worry free holiday. A big thanks to the staff at Villa Almarik.

Fantastic stay at the Almarik”
we have travelled extensively through asia but this is our first time at gili trawangan. glad we stayed at the villa almarik as we think its the best hotel there. the service was great - friendly & attentive - the staff try very hard to please you. the rooms were amazingly big, a large bed and a day bed by the window and a huge bathroom with freshwater. they also provide a free 20l bottle of drinking water which they refill when needed. breakfast was pretty good, recommend the pizzas by the pool for lunch/late afternoon snack. we went to the gili islands for the snorkeling and it met our expectations. the reef is still regenerating but still enough coral, plenty of fish including big schools of larger fish at the drop off, and every snorkeling trip (we did about 3x a day) we swam with turtles - what a treat! will go back to the gilis again, and definitely stay at the almarik again.

Lovely Hotel with hospitalized Hotel Staff”
almarik hotel has arranged very well the picking up service from new airport in lombok tengah until the hotel, it included the sea tranport using his owned speed boat.it is very effective so we could arrive in the hotel and spent daylight along sea side within the gili trawangan island. the standard room has large bathroom as well as the room itself.good breakfast. most of hotel staff are very welcoming and giving us more information to do in the island. luckily when we had chatting with front office staff in the next day, we just remembered if we had to move to superior room as i have booked from agoda ( even the hotel did not aware as well ). so we are still lucky to enjoy the different modern room type comparing the classic standard room. generally we had 2 (two) pleasant nights staying in the recommended hotel.

A great place to be in Gili Trawangan”
we stayed 2 nights at villa almarik and we absolutely enjoyed it. the place is perfect for quiet seekers but also close to the lively central area of gili trawangan (5-10 min. walk). we booked a deluxe room but, due to the fact that the hotel was basically empty (low season), the staff upgraded us to a superior room at the same price! the room (more a mini apartment) was both modern and traditional balinese, with a huge bed and a enormous bathroom. lush garden on the outside. the breakfast (included) was delicious... and they also offer a free tea/coffee in the afternoon.
