Three-Bedroom Villa with Private Pool

Love the place and the architect design feeling and helpful staff
This is actually my personal bias for my whole Bali trip. Chic design feeling to show the owner's taste and concept, the surrounding field, and best of all, very authentic Indonesian style breakfast! One of my friends forgot her luggage in the facility and after many effort, they managed to deliver the luggage from Ubud to our nest destination, Jimbaran. Sincerely recommend the villa to anyone. Bring Naught Nuri's food to the villa and you can enjoy a relaxing feast!

The guest and staff are very nice, breakfast of everyday is perfect!
Though it's little far from centre, there are three shuttle bus a day. It's a good exprience that live in Villa Arya.

Wonderful place great staff disappointing location though
The place is a hidden little gem. Peaceful and relaxing with lovely staff who provided great service. The location is a little far from the town of Ubud though, with no decent eating places nearby. A driver is needed every time.

A pleasant stay
We are pleased with the conditions of the room despite not able to check in to our room upon arrival (after 2pm). The design of the villa is unique with an outdoor toilet concept. Staffs are friendly and very welcoming.

Not quite perfect but nearly there
Mirror needed in bedroom, electric sockets not sufficient as had to unplug fridge to get the kettle on. The kettle took ages to boil as the amperage far too low. Not a place for the old and doddery ( like me!) as the stairs and stone steps do not have hand rails, particularly dangerous after dark .Also the breakfast not ideal as one has to book the night before and its served up with 'glad wrap'. Difficult to find as the signs not sufficient, but otherwise extremely good

Nice enough property but few annoying limitations
Airy rooms with private balconies, nice swimming pool, kind staff
While the Villa Arya is pretty and has quite a lot of potential, it has a few flaws that would make it unlikely we would stay again or recommend it. First, it is a full 15-20 minute drive outside of Ubud's downtown. While this meant it was in a nice quiet spot near rice paddies, the hotel does not have a restaurant or bar. If you want anything other than the bottle of water or Bintang in your mini fridge, it can either be ordered from Ubud (a process which took a full hour for a glass of wine and so I can only imagine results in cold food, though we did not try it for meals) or you must make the drive downtown as, aside from an (admittedly excellent) warung down the street, there is nothing nearby. Second, there is a shuttle service to downtown, but it only runs at 10, 3:30 and 6 pm, and outside of those times (even if you are the only guests using it, as we repeatedly were) a charge of 80,000 rupiah ($7) each way applies--not that expensive I suppose, but a bit annoying anyway given the glut of similar properties in Ubud that I assume are able to offer dinner on site. Finally, though our room was quite nice, our bathroom did have what I assume was an incomplete outdoor shower, as there was a swinging shower door that opened to the barnyard next door.

2 nights near Ubud-- wonderful setting.
Room, Setting, Ubud Transport
Wonderful experience! Friendly helpful staff, really beautiful room and setting. Largest Bathroom ever-- but exposed to some mosquitoes. Hot Water supply insufficient for the large open air tub.
