“Booking here was the best decision I made ”
The level of hospitality we received from Villa Caemilla staff was word class, top notch. It’s my first time in boracay, as an adult anyway, and I did not really expect this level of hospitality. But I guess this is why I love boutiques over bigger hotels. The location was perfect! Loved being in station 3 where there were less vendors, less crowds, quieter beachfronts. We are a couple with an 8 month old baby, so we wanted to avoid the bustle in station 2. We stayed in the junior suite for 3 nights. The suite had a nice layout, it was very clean, and the air conditioner worked great. The bathroom kind of had a weird sewer-ish smell only during a certain time of the day, but it didn’t shock me. I’m not sure how septic systems work but it’s a small island with crazy amenities, I’m sure it’s all part of it. The one thing I felt was missing in the junior suite was a swimsuit/clothes drying rack on our balcony. I saw the other rooms had their own drying rack outside their doors, but we didn’t have one. I’m sure I could have requested, but I didn’t feel like it at the time lol. The restaurant had 10/10 service at all times. Everyone was so personable yet highly professional. Like I said, they provide a world class service, but it didn’t feel stuffy at all. There couldn’t be a more dreamy restaurant setting, right in front of the beach. If you choose to eat and have drinks with your toes in the sand, you may do so. It’s such a luxury and convenience to have a good restaurant just a few steps outside our room. And the music was always always sooooo good and appropriate for chilling and relaxing. They didnt blast house music or play pop songs while I was there. I just heard some ambient music that really set the island vacation vibe. I also loved the live acoustic set at night. While there, everyone should order in-room massages. It was some of the best we’ve ever received. The therapists are very professional. The front desk works really well to coordinate the whole thing between the guests, therapists, and housekeeping (for when the massage bed needs to be delivered). Shout out therapist named Julia who did two 90-minute massages back to back, whew, thank you so much. Shout out to Almonde for an amazing check in experience. Caloy for remembering my son’s name and for being so personable and always checking up on us. I’m just throwing names out there of those I remember, but the whole management/staff is amazing. They truly deserve all the awards they receive.
