HONEST REVIEW ”
I saw this place online because lot of influencers post about it but in my honest opinion behind those picture perfect photos the service is kinda bad. They don't do makeup room for my 6days of stay. I request for it coz I thought they have the initiative to do so everyday. When the time I asked for it they just RETOUCH the room they didn't change the linens, pillow case and towels. Everyday my partner is the one taking off the garbage from the room. While my partner is having a shower the water heater sparks. When we told them to change room because ofcorz for me it's NOT SAFE anymore. They just fixed it. Imagine in our last 2 nights we are very afraid to take shower because maybe it will sparks again and electrocute us. I hope this will help. Mabuhay ❤️

We had a peaceful and relaxing stay, but we needed things to do on our getaway. So we only stayed to sleep and were not able to explore the place or get instagrammable shots. Due to exhaustion after surfing and traveling. We would recommend putting up a laundry service. If you plan on investing this might be a good deal for some people. Thank you

It holds few guests which makes the place really quiet. We enjoyed the pool because we were the ones only there. The restaurant is not 24/7 available but there's a small store close to the hotel where you can buy snacks.

Villa Cali”
Overall, the place didn’t look nice for me (personally) and the staff/service was horrible. I guess they were still in the process of training their staff and getting things together that’s why no one was able to assist us nicely when we were trying to settle into our room. I only liked kuya who did his best to try and help us fix the netflix app on our TV. He wasn’t able to fix it but I really appreciate his effort. Another positive thing is the room was wonderful. Pretty color scheme. Ugly leave paintings though. Terrible bathroom as well, however I love the complimentary necessities in the bathroom. I also love the fact that it’s like an apartment with cooking utensils and other amenities. But despite these things, the stay was not worth it at all. I would not recommend.

During our stay, there was like no one to welcome us. The place was good (pre-Odette) but it was undergoing some repair or renovation. There was no heads-up or something like that before we made the booking. All in all, we did not feel welcome when we stayed there. We waited for some time before we could get the keys (it was Sunday when we arrived).

Best customer service in the island”
We checked into a number of hotels on our trip to siargao and Villa Calli did not disappoint. Customer service was superb! The staff were very helpful and courteous. There were dirt/ mold formation in between their tiles and honeypot because of constantly being wet but we didn’t mind- their service was excellent.

For the amount that we paid in a hotel in Siargao I am expecting more actually, we came in from a different hotel in Siargao so we already have a standard/basis when we came to Villa Cali. We came very early around 12nn, since we had an early checkout from the other hotel and was told that check-in time was 2pm, we understood since that's really in the booking details and seems that the hotel si fully booked, so we opted to eat lunch in a nearby resort to pass the time. Unfortunately when we came back we waited until 45mins because of the late check out daw of another guest. If they are very strict with the check-in they should have been strict also with the checkout. Anyway, the owner and manager accommodated us and gave us another round of welcome drinks. Breakfast was actually really good. Sunday was the best one in Villa Cali, Fries, breakfast and drinks are all great. No problem when it comes to food service and quality. Wifi is actually an issue. We have wifi in the room, however it's really slow and sometimes gets disconnected, so while watching netflix minsan nagaabang pa kami.. Good thing I don't have to work when we stayed there because that will definitely be an issue. When we requested drinking water sa room on our last night, we waited until almost 30mins+, dumating na lang yung delivery namin from another restaurant, and the reason is their staff lost their key daw so they have issues with the service or maybe the containers not sure. So basically when we stayed there maraming issues. It's a bit disappointing lang kc tig isa kami ng piniling hotel ng partner ko that's why we booked 2 hotels when we went to Siargao. I was the one who chose Villa Cali but the experience nga is quite disappointing. But I'm still hoping that they will improve their service because the other hotel made our stay stress-free considering na cheaper sila.. 😑

Nice Location & Instagrammable everywhere”
It's funny that I decided to stay here on my last in Siargao. After 4 straight days of Surfing so my body is dead tired so my last day should be to strictly chill & relax so stayed in Cali for two reasons. (1) TV & (2) Swimming Pool. Unfortunately, the TV did not work due to very poor connection. I needed to use my phone data the whole morning just to access Netflix. Met the owner, he was so accomdating & kind. He really did try to make it work, even loaned me his pocket wifi & I really felt his sincerity when he said sorry a bunch of times for this inconvenience that for me is enough it was just a bad luck for me I guess. All the other staff are nice as well. When you have nice people around you cant afford to have a bad time even in a bad situation, so kudos to all🙂 Will have a 4 straight day of surfing again this coming April & this time booked my whole duration of stay in Cali so see you guys again next year☺️

Could have been a nice overnight stay but not”
The bathroom could use a little more cleaning but we were pleasantly surprised with the space and that it had a kitchenette. We stayed here overnight and was having a quiet night, however a group youngsters moved to the pool which is very close to our room around 12am. They were swimming and was very loud and drunk. We had to ask them twice to bring the noise down as we were trying to sleep and only stopped past 1am. We were told pool use is only until 8pm and was surprised no staff (or a guard) was around this time to tell these people off.

It is conveniently-located in the heart of General Luna. Lovely bali-vibe rooms and resort in general. The pool is absolutely brilliant for chill days with the tropical surrounding and ambiance. Wifi connection is great for digital nomads like me who works remotely. The staff proactively accomodates you to make sure you are enjoying your stay. Most importantly, Cory and Covy! ❤️

We decided to maximize our stay in Siargao by booking in one of the best villa we can find in the island. Villa Cali exceeded our expactation. Every corner is instagrammable. Rooms are well maintained plus the staff were very accommodating. Will surely book here again when we go back to Siargao!
