Excellent property.. good enough for small family”
We had booked 2 rooms. Property is maintained very cleanly and staff is very friendly. Rooms are spacious and everything looks modern. Very near to main city, so lot of options for food.

Specious room, great location ”
We stayed there for 1 night only. Our room very specious with king bad size. The room complete and the house are nice. Centra location but the road to the villa not really nice. Overall i like this place and worth of money.

Nice villa ”
Nice and clean Villa. only me stay in for the night no other traveller. it make me feel insecure. walking distance to lake gregory and victory park. provide water and heater in the room. super clean toilet. with security box which you can stores you valuable things. suggestion : please take tuk tuk back, do not walk back if you are alone and sky is getting dark. near by do not have any restaurant. Staff is prepared breakfast for me early morning at 5am for my tour to horton. that is good.

Good location, fine for a quick stay ”
Convenient location, walking distance to the best restaurants in town. Comfortable rooms. On the downside, no housekeeping service for your room and relatively perfunctory, nonchalant staff. As a constructive comment, a pick up service from the Nanuoya train station would be useful. Although the hotel seems to have a car, it wasn’t clear to us what it’s used for.

Modern space with Quaint charm”
We were passing by in Nuwara Eliya before heading to Kandy and needed a clean and affordable place to stay for the night. Villa Cassandra offered us a beautiful home away from home. The rooms were very spacious, modern and clean. The staff went out of there way to make sure that our stay was the best it could be. There are only five rooms and five staff members which means that at any given time we were always given one on one care. The food was good and expected for the price that you pay. Villa Cassandra is not like the other big name resorts that you will find in the area. Instead, what you should expect is the ease and comfort of a beautiful home, secluded enough from the town centre to relax but close enough to walk down for a quick cup of coffee. Will be staying here again!

I had an awesome stay at Villa Cassandra from 6 to 8 march 2016. The wifi and the room is excellent. The service from the ground staff are even better than 5 star hotels i hav been to. I would like to compliment Vijay for his outstanding services to my family and i.He was able to hire us a driver on a last min notice at a reasonable rate. Would definitely recommened Villa Cassandra to others who are going to Nuwara Eliya.

Great facilities, staff and location”
My stay at the hotel was totally overwhelming, and I extended my stay for another two nights due to the great comfort. It is a hotel built by international standard with all the facilities - spacious room/bathroom, clean towel, heater, tea/coffee-making facilities, high-speed internet, TV w/ international channels, and mostly importantly steady hot water which is very important in Nuwara Eliya. Staff are respective and friendly, and they prepared great breakfast (toast w/ butter&jam, egg, milk, tea/coffee, sausage/bacon, fruit). The location is within 15min walk to the city center, and 5min to Grand Hotel. It is superior to the other hotels I stayed in Sri Lanka during my trip. Highly recommended!

Excellent Choice for Nuwara Eliya”
We, a family of 3 stayed in room 02 on the first floor for 3 nights. Room was spacious with an extra bed. The villa is set like a typical English county home. Location: about 10 minutes walk, you will be in the heart of Nuwara Eliya. One day of our stay was on Sinhala / Tamil New Year and it coincided with Good Friday. We could easily walk upto St. Francis Xavier's Church and attend the service. Only Breakfast is served here but there are a lot of restaurants close by to have Lunch/ dinner. Breakfast is typical western style breakfast. We found this same at most places we stayed in Sri Lanka. Anyway, the western style breakfast was good and plentiful. Staff was excellent too, after all it is the staff who make the hotel better or worse.

The best ever! Everything was perfect. ”
Great experience from property quality to staff to cleanliness to value to location. Perfect place that at one point, we were wondering if we should cancel our trip to Kandy and extend here. The staff goes out of the way to make you comfortable. Rooms are fabulous especially at the pricing. Breakfast is good. If we travel again to Nuwara Eliya, we know where to stay. Stay here and you won't regret...great experience at an amazing price.

a lot of villas in nuwara eliya and this villa is much better than expected. the bedroom is bright with heating machine and the washroom is clean. very nice stay for one night and highly recommend. can pay by credit card or cash, usd and local currency are both accepted.

Amazing European Villa”
Nice change of pace from typical Sri Lankian hotels, this European style boutique was a great find in the center of Nuwara Eliya. New updated/modern bathroom and bedroom with a comfortable mattress. Tasty fresh breakfast was also a great change from typical buffets.

Modern, Great Location, super helpful/friendly staff! ”
We stayed here for just 1 night. I had emailed them prior to arriving to arrange a pick up from the nearest train station (Nanu Oya) which is about 20 minutes drive,they emailed me back promptly and someone was waiting at the station with a name plaque, great service already. Villa Cassandra is located a 5 min walk from The Grand Hotel, which is a must visit and also the main town. It's tucked away so very quiet. The property itself is newly built (under a year) and very modernist side and in. The rooms were very spacious, 2 large beds which were amazingly comfortable and great nights sleep! The hosts were very friendly and helpful making us feel at home, all were very gentlemanly and arranged for a driver to take take us to the south coast. We also did a trip to Macklewood Tea factory which was definitely worth a visit. Short tour by someone who had worked there 30years! This was all arranged by our hosts at Villa Cassandra. Breakfast was vast, typical Sri Lankan feast of fruit plate, eggs any way you want them, toast, and even some cornflakes! Definitely didn't go hungry. They even supplied us with a little snack for our road trip south. Overall a great experience and would definitely recommend for an affordable yet modern place to stay.

It was a clean and nice hotel which was very close to the centre. But it was too expensive for what it offered. Perhaps the hotels in Nuwara Eliya are in general expensive.
