Nice place with beautiful Lake Batur view”
All staff were extremely helpful. Bapak Nyoman the owner handled our request directly from arranging trekking trip to amount Batur, late check out, getting Radler beers all the way to upgrading our rooms. We had a wonderful stay, definitely will come back! Thank you Villa Danu

Not Worth the visit.”
Bed and floor are filled with ants. Pillows, bed sheets and blanket are dirty and have yellow spots. Bathroom door is broken and does not close. The one and only reason to go there might be the view of lake and mountain. However, I am sure u can find the same in a better spot. Hate to give bad reviews. They seemed like nice people but they need to improve a lot.

A secluded area, which is good if you want to be away from the city. Overall, the place and view are great. BUT, there is 1 problem. Flies are everywhere because it is near farming area. So, if you have issue with insects, do prepare yourself. My room was okay, it was clean and not smelly. But my brother's room wasn't that good. HIs room has garden view and the wall etc were made from wood. It has some mold in few area, so it has certain smell. But the bathroom is different. The interior is made from wood so there isn't any smell at all. It was actually fresh. He didn't make a fuss about it. It doesn't matter to him as long as he can sleep. Please note that there is no hair dryer provided. The staffs are friendly and very helpful when you are in need.

A bit out of the way but once you get there the view is incredibly worth it. Very friendly staff and a perfect place to relax away from the hustle and bustle.

the place was lovely and the staff was very helpful. the food tastes bit bland though. the location for the view was magical but the entry is very deep through the lakeside. still suitable for family getaway👍🏼

Disappointing stay”
The location is not nice between hotel and lake something like a factory and big boilers that is not visible on photos of the hotel, but it’s breaking the view. 3 huge cockroaches shocked me, until I sprayed the room, I was going to bathroom and feeling afraid it will come out again, I felt not hygiene to step anywhere because they were walking there. Another horrible things is a shower 5 second super hot 5 seconds ice water. After climbing batur you want nothing but shower and it’s impossible… Staff was nice, but it didn’t cheer me after insects or shower… Bedsheets was clean… The only good was a tour guide who took us on batur… Amazing person… Food from restaurant was very oily, once chicken was raw inside… that’s it … For me I was waiting to leave

Not worth what we paid”
Spent the night at Villa Danu so we could Hike Mt.Batur. It was way off the beaten path trying to find it was a huge undertaking. If you don’t have a scooter or car definitely don’t stay here! Our room smelt absolutely horrible. Definitely not worth what we paid to stay.

すごく眺めの良いヴィラ！スタッフがすごくフレンドリー！”
バリを初めて訪れる方が滞在先として選ぶ街、有名なウブドやクタ、スミニャック他などからは遠いです。エアポートピックアップのドライバーさんにもあなたのヴィラはすごく遠いと言われました(笑)だけど、バリのリピーターの方やバトゥール山のトレッキングやレイクハイキング、周辺にたくさんウォーターフォールもありますし、温泉もあるので、それらを目的とされている方にはとても近くてオススメです。ヴィラ内はベッド、小さめのクローゼット、椅子とテーブル、ドレッサーがありました。シンプルで色調もナチュラルですごく落ち着きます。眺めがすごくよく、ベッドからも入り口のテラスからも目の前にプール、奥に山々とレイクがしっかりみえました。敷地内に食事処もあるので頼めば作ってもらました。ナシゴレンとっても美味しかったです。ヴィラのオーナーさん、奥さん、スタッフみんなフレンドリーで何かいるものはないかといつも気にかけてくれたり、話しかけてくれ、スタッフと他の滞在者とみんなでバドミントンをしたりと本当に楽しく過ごせました。特にスタッフのワヤンは話しやすく、いろいろと世話をしてくれて助かりました。部屋に冷蔵庫はついてなかったのですがビールや水を頼めば瓶やペットボトルのものを持ってきてくれました。トレッキングや温泉から近く、ローカルなバリの風景を楽しめる場所にあるこのヴィラ。スタッフもあたたかくもてなしてくれるので、自然のアクティビティを楽しみながらもゆったり過ごしたい方におすすめの場所です！
