Need educated managment”
Nice to stay in bungalow and location is perfect. They have a big and nice garden but not useful and property don t pay any attention to customer satisfaction. Only you can be with yourself and stay in a basic bungalow room and enjoy only the location that is end of the Walking Street at river side. They provide 2 bottle of water every morning and very basic breakfast with coffee, toast, jam.
Nice bungalow in pai ”
Bungalow was very nice and clean, quite small but big enough for us. It has a nice veranda with an hammock and table with chairs. No A/C but just a fan and it was totally fine. The included breackfast is just toasted bread with butter and jam and coffee, better than nothing (maybe there was something more but we were quite late).
This is a perfect place to stay and explore Pai. A little paradise!
You get what you pay for!”
Comfortable, small, great location just by the river. The huts are very small and basic. Very cold during the night, you'll need to take warm pajamas.
Good bungalowes and a good location. very clean rooms. the staff was very unfriendly.
A piece of Pai”
Look no further if you wanted to stay in Pai as this place is conviniently located at the heart of Pai and within walking distances.
My favorite place to stay in Thailand”
Simple, tranquil living. Great hosts.
Heavy metal music blasting all night”
When I checked in, the location was right in town, the bungalows were cute and it was quiet during the day. As soon as the sun went down, there was blasting music at the bar next door that turned into heavy metal all night. Needless to say, I could not sleep all night because of all the noise. The next morning I was woken by a man in the next bungalow screaming verbal abuse at his young son and wife for 45 min. The whole property could hear him yelling and the staff did nothing. I was supposed to stay 4 days, but I checked out as fast as I could.
Nice stay near the walking street”
Relaxing atmosphere in the bungalows. However it gets a bit noisy during nighttime but nothing unbearable. The staff seemed a little annoyed by everything. Still a pleasant stay.
Great location ”
It is a good place for people who a seeking peace and quiet and on the other had would like to have all shops and restaurants within reach. Nice hammock in every bungalow. The place is well looked after and close to the Pai river. Exactly as described on Agoda.
The bungalow are charming and confy, the bed is really good the bathroom clean. It is located in one of Pai's main street which is really good except that it is noisy at night. So if you're an early sleeper (before midnight), bring earplugs. I really enjoyed my stay at Villa Pai, the only problems were that the staff was not that friendly and the wifi often not worked
Near Walking Street, unfriendly staff”
I sense that the staff at Villa De Pai is burnt out of serving "Farang" travelers, especially those who like to party. There are signs everyone saying what you can and can't do. It's nice to have it quiet after 10PM (as they are near the busy party street), yet I was woken up at 5 AM by my loud Thai neighbors who were getting ready to leave. The bungalows by the river are in a lovely setting and the noise of the water pump in the villa next door is a distraction. (You can hear the deep base of the bar music down the street but that is white noise, okay to fall asleep to.) In sum, I really wasn't into the "vibe" here. I booked for two nights and I stayed for one. ( I ended up staying a little out of town at Baan Nam Hoo. These guys are wonderful and the setting is lovely and quiet. Baan Nam Hoo receives high ratings for good reason.)
Not the quietest of places. Great to see a sign stipulating no parties and no access for scooters to the bungalow sites after 10pm, indicating strict requirements to keep the noise level down. But most of the guests were groups of young adults, sharing accommodation who wanted to have a good time. There was loud talk, loud music and much yelling to each other in the early morning when packing up and departing. This was constant over the 4 nights I spent there. Another miserable constant was exploding fireworks let off sporadically every night until the small hours of the morning. They were being let off by locals but were exploding within metres above the bungalows. When I raised my concerns to the manager, all he was concerned about was not being able to get sleep himself but basically did nothing about it. The accommodation was too expensive, being opportunistic during tourist demand. Also nowhere to put anything anywhere, not even your watch. A small side table would have helped.
Nice place, not so happy about the bed bugs.”
This was a lovely looking bungalow in a good location. Hammock outside and very peaceful. Had a bit of an issue with the owner when I asked to cancel one night of my stay. Despite me asking with lots of time for him to find someone else, and despite him saying I could have a full refund, he told me I'd have to contact agoda customer services as he couldn't refund the money himself. I did so, they contacted him, and he changed his mind and only offered me 50% refund. Not too happy about that. I was even less happy when I woke up the next morning with a huge amount of bites from bed bugs. There must have been at least 60 bites and I react badly to them. I am still suffering now after a few days.
located near walking street and quiet is the only impressives. Room is very narrow, dark. Moreover the pillow is very very high and stiff. Toilet is quite wide but full of space or gap between the roof and wall.
All positives.... it's the cool time of the year. So, this was perfect. Quiet oasis.
We really enjoyed our stay here! The location was great, close to walking street and food options but felt like a quiet retreat. We spent a fair amount of time chilling in the hammock or down by the river. We had a couple of insect friends show up in the bathroom, but that's not surprising for a hut like that. Free water bottles daily was a nice touch. Overall would definitely recommend!
Nice little bungalows”
The bungalows are pretty nice though being quite raw you do end up sharing with a few ants. It was very hot while were in Pai and we had to pull a chair in from the patio so we could raise the small fan up high enough to blow on us. You really just end up using the bungalows as a place to sleep with the bars and restaurants being a better place to relax in the heat.
