Stayed 6 nights in June 2016
Amazing views and hosts. ”
We spent 6 nights here and it was wonderful. It was a great spot to slow down and relax after many weeks of touring. Our hosts Marie and Costas were fantastic. They met us when we arrived rather late and gave us many good suggestions for local activities. They lent us snorkelling gear and made us iced coffee a number of times when we were just chilling by the pool. There are a number of restaurants, shops, tavernas, bakeries etc in Keri Lake village. Villa Eora is on the side of a steep hill so walking back from the village can be quite taxing. We hired a motorbike locally to get around that issue and also so we could tour the island. The staff at Olympic rentals knew Costas and Marie so we felt very comfortable with renting there. We also locally hired a boat for a day. I think you should hire transport if you want to see the island. (And you should as there are many outstanding things to see and do) The roads were quiet in late June. The pool area at Villa Eora has a magnificent view, we sat there each evening and swam in the pool quite a bit during the day. We really liked the fact that it is a very peaceful and quiet resort, not one to stay at if you intend partying all night. I miss it already!
