Very good value for money”
Value for money, owner, spacious room
We started our DR trip from Villa Florie and ended up coming back before my flight back home. The place is very cozy and clean, and location is good. It's 10mins to Sosua main beach. The main street with restaurants starts almost around the corner. For the most crowded part you need to walk ~5mins.
There are two rooms for shorter stays and they share the same bathroom. The owners live there too. The rooms and bathroom have all basic facilities and are cleaned very well. If you are a light sleeper, you may want to bring your ear plugs as the noise from the street can be distracting at times. I'm one and still managed to sleep well.
The best thing was that Florie helped us in getting around both in Sosua and DR when we planned our backpacking journey. We don't speak Spanish so Florie's help was really appreciated. Especially that the public transport is not quite as well organized as in Finland :)
This place is very good value for money. We paid ~31e per night for the bigger room.
