The property is about 75 minutes from International Lombok Airport by car, 40 minutes from central Senggigi, and five minutes after Bangsal harbor. Hidden away from the main road and crowds, you will enjoy and discover the true nature of the Lombok coast. The villa offers views of the three Gili Islands and the beauty of Mount Agung in Bali at the front side. Both sunrise and sunset can be seen from the villa. The villa is neighboring a small fishing village, making it a unique place to experience and witness first-hand the traditional life of the local people. Walking on the beach to the north, you will discover a stretch of pristine coral beach and the natural, unspoiled surroundings of this beautiful Lombok Island. You can hire a private speed boat or take a public boat transfer to reach Gili Islands or even talk to one of the local fishermen to fish or tour you around. Transfers from many points on the islands are available.

Villa Gili Sunset Lombok”

The villa is not easy to find, even local taxi drivers have difficulties. When we finally arrived, our first impression was a good one. Everything was very clean and in a very good shape. The garden is beautiful, the friendly gardener is always there, taking care of it. Unfortunately we couldn’t spend time at the beach right in front of us because it is pretty dirty. You definitely need a car or motorbike because shops etc are too far away to walk. In the area there are hardly any restaurants, shopping is also not so easy. Bangsal and surroundings are not really places where there are a lot of tourists so prices for cars or motorbikes are a lot higher than in Senggigi. Unfortunately, in the house there is no manual of instructions whatsoever and the gardener only speaks indonesian, so finding our way around was a bit difficult. The kitchen isn’t very well equipped, cooking was not really an option. There have been several power failures (the 2nd night with no electricity), but no candles or flashlights at the house. After two days we left early and have to admit that we were a bit disappointed.
