Understatement of a place
The view is spellbinding; the service is second to none and the pool is great
It's certainly not flash, but it's the most excellent value for money, oasis of calm that you'll find in Ubud - A short walk off the Main Street & into a different world. Good rooms, impeccable view

Wonderful
Painting View, Quiet, Cozy
Very good, greeting by warm welcome, surprise on some ladder down but worth it with the nice view just front of the big balcony in each room. The breakfast serving on the dining chair, some comfy chair to enjoying the view. Big room, big bathroom, classic style, Perfect :)

Sensational ravine views, not easy walking to Ubud
Sensational ravine views, friendly and helpful staff, quiet retreat from Ubud centre
This hotel drops from the reception office at street level down into a steep ravine. There are lots of stairs, so, not recommended if that is an issue. Our room had a large private balcony in front with sensational views down into the ravine and across to the facing steep gorge side. The room was large and private, but also a bit damp (but to be fair it was rainy season). Nice pool perched above the ravine but the weather was too cool for swimming while we were there in January. Lovely staff, good breakfast and dinner was served for s on our private balcony. Simple but tasty food. There isn't a restaurant in-house, but the staff picked up dinner for us from a local restaurant. There seemed to be no charge for this service - usual local/hotel restaurant prices applied. We were visited by two good masseurs on our balcony. Drawback is that this hotel is not really walking distance from Ubud centre. You'll need to hail a ride into town, which was costing 40,000 - 50,000 rupiah during the period we stayed. The hotel is good value for money and I would recommend this hotel if you don't mind a short taxi ride home to get away from busy Ubud when you're not out-and about. The wifi really wasn't working when we were there.

Great view w/ paddy fields , jungle and the river!
Comfy room w/ great view! Quiet and relaxing. Dining was good too.
The villa is in beautiful area called kedewatan. The view from balcony took my breath away... The room was big enough and comfy with big the big bath room. All staffs are happy to help u. But if you can't stand any bugs , rizwerds, then i think, u can't enjoy this atomisphere in beautiful greenery. And there is a lot of stairs from the reception where u can get wifi to your Room. For me who enjoy nature, it was a perfect villa to get away from the city life at home.

Room with a view and tranquility
Perfect picture of rice paddy field, ayong river and forest just from your villa's terrace.
It was just okay but i won't recommend it if you are super clean travellers. The bed is big and firm but there were stains on its cover. The room and bathroom is clean enough for a 3 star hotel but expect to smell the trace of humidity when you first entering your room. Don't be shock if you find ants and moths during your night stay in there since it is natural due to its sorrounding area. No roaches and mosquitos while we stayed there for 2 nights. Breakfast is limited of choice. It is suitable for couples who are adventurer, love eco natural travel and don't have entomophobia.

A romantic getaway
breathtaking views, friendly staff & comfortable rooms
From the moment we arrived we knew that we had chosen the right place to stay for our 3rd visit to Ubud. The setting amoungst the forest canopies with the occasional screams from the rafting below are always welcoming. The rooms wew large and clean and they turned the bed down every night. The staff were so hospitable, nothing was too much to ask and they always made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect visit to Ubud.

Relaxing rainforest retreat
Amazing views of mountains and forest, in room massage and excellent friendly staff
this hotel is situated about 4 to 5 km outside ubud centre in Kedawatan. This wasn't a problem for us however as the hotel quickly arranged transport to ubud when required which cost 40,000 rupiah each way. It is situated on a hilltop with the most amazing views of the rice paddies below and surrounding forest. We had an extremely relaxing stay with daily massages and meals overlooking the valley. The staff were very friendly and excellent cooks! The place is a bit care worn but we liked the authentic feel and for the price it was great value for money

Fantastic Fantastic and Fantastic
Breathtaking view, lovely staff in a great country villa
It was absolutely the best experience we have had in a long time. The view looking over the rice terrace and Ayung river is just priceless. The staff are very friendly and attentive just enough to provide everything we need in advance, but respected our privacy. They brought breakfast to our private balcony every morning. Even dinner was served privately in our balcony. At night we could enjoy fire flies from our balcony. The hotel arranged all entertainment and transportation with reasonable prices. The room is very spacious and well designed. It is not new but well maintained and charming. The open air bathroom is enjoyable. Lovely place, highly recommend!
