A wonderful Filipino beach experience. ”
Having been to Borocay 20 years ago I have always wanted to go back to the Philippines. According to many Borocay is now spoiled by the hoards of noisy tourists it can't sustain. So much as I wanted to see that beautiful island again I went for another Filipino experience instead and am so glad I did. Bohol has so much to offer - the Loboc river cruise and Anda being the highlights (more so than the Chocolate Hills). This beach hotel might not have the white sand of Anda but is a lot easier to get to (OK Alona also has white sand but unless you want to dive then by all accounts swimming is a prickly experience with sea urchins a real problem underfoot). This hotel is not really geared to the typical western tourist experience so is hardly the lap of luxury - but it’s cheap and you get all the basics including excellent air con. Above all you get a real slice of Filipino beach life (I was the only westerner there!) So don't expect beach cocktails or even alcohol by the glass - but then who cares when a litre bottle of beer and a bottle of brandy cost about £1 !(so make your own cocktails with the coconuts from the forest of palm trees surrounding you!) The locals are so friendly and will do anything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible (ask to see the amazing fireflies at night - only a few hundred yards away but you need to know where to look). Alongside the hotel the beach has a handful of Filipino style beach huts and a makeshift shop. Each beach hut seems to come with its own karaoke machine which can become a bit irritating but then I suspect you will encounter this on any beach in the Philippines nowadays - I think the Filipinos have overtaken the Japanese in their love of karaoke! - just embrace the experience! (but you can walk along the beach out of earshot and it’s a 10pm curfew) I would not have missed this experience for the world - an experience equal to Borocay but in such a different and 'real' Filipino way! Thank you Villa Limpia.

Wow! This place is amazing!”
We had a great time! Booked for just 1day, stayed for nearly 2 weeks. We wanted to stay longer but we had to move on. The staff is always ready to help you and they do this with a big smile. The surrounding is really quiet and peacefull. Tagbilaran is still pretty closeby if you need to go the city. Not so many resorts around so the beach is all yours! Don't forget to ask the owner to show you the fireflies-tree, wich is about 5 minutes walk from the resort, pretty amazing! Best value for money on Bohol.

We had a nice stay”
Our stay was great! Staffs were very attentive and the hotel owner Mrs. Lina was very friendly and accommodating. She even arranged for us a tour for a very reasonable price. Since we booked off peak season they gave us room which was very spacious and have mini ref and tv and water have hot & cold. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends and relatives.

Good but..”
The rooms were big and good for a big group. But we were expecting they will change our sheets everyday but they did not. On our 2nd day we ordered breakfast coz we were starving. It took them a good 1 hour and 19 minutes to serve the breakfast. Which consists of RICE, EGG AND BACON. Seriously??? And the rice was not even hot, it was cold almost like left inside the fridge. the portions were small and the price was not 100 pesos which they stated in the information they provided here in Agoda. It was really 125 pesos. I hope they improve more on their service.

On the day very noisy as they had a very large function on. Purpose of find somewhere out of the way was to get some rest and sleep but that didn't happen. I guess picked the wrong time to go there.

Nice and friendly”
Location by the way to Loboc makes it very simple to visit Loboc tarsiers, zipline or Chocolate Hills. Very friendly and helpful staff. One feels like home:)

Don't get the extension room away from the main.”
We shared a twin bed room & were put to stay in a room outside the main building which is terrible. The beds were hard as rock with cheap & thin foam mattress. No hot water for shower and the 4 walls are made of plywood. When we checked out, The manager raised the 300 peso to 500 peso that we have agreed with their staff with the excuse that the recent petrol hike. They can charge you any price knowing that there is limited alternative for transfer out of their hotel due to its remote location. That was the worst choice we made, to stay in that hotel. Those who stayed in the main building may have a different experience.
