A new, dellightful way to stay in Paris”
We were looking for a new place to stay in Paris and were delighted to find the Villa Montmartre which enabled us to combine some of the best features of Paris. Convenient location to metro, tourist board, variety of restaurants, cafes, food stores and to Sacre Coeur. A key reason for choosing Villa Montmartre was the fact that each room had a well-equipped kitchen. This enabled us to go to a nearby bakery every morning for fresh baked baguettes and return to our room for a leisurely breakfast. On returning to the hotel in the evening we stopped in at cafes, food stores, etc. and assembled a wonderful supper with delightful, reasonably priced wines we had found nearby. Made for a very relaxed and - for Paris - a very reasonable stay in this special city. Easy walk to the metro with an adjacent tourist board office, is near Pigalle and other sights. One night we had a picnic on the hill of Sacre Coeur with a sweeping view of the city. Another plus was the very reasonable transfer service the hotel offered from and to the airport. Will stay there again when we return to the City of Lights.

Villa Montmartre”
Location was convenient to the metro, bars, the sacre coeur/montmartre hill and for grocery shopping, bit noisy at night. The manager was so helpful when we arrived late due to plane delays and then traffic congestion from a strike in the centre of Paris - he even upgraded our room and we had our own balcony with a magnificent view of the Sacre Coeur. Kitchen facilities were good, heating great and lots of space - lighting a bit dim, but didn't matter too much unless you wanted to read. Very good value.

great price for paris”
villa montmarte is a great hotel for a great price. eggs, butter, cheese, orange juice, water, nutella packets and more were in the fridge when we arrived! complete with cooking instruments too. the only strife might be the location; not the nicest or cleanest area of Montmartre, but nothing to be overly worried about. plus, the wi-fi barely worked, so we looked up codes to hook onto the "freewifi" wifi that is available throughout most of paris.

Nice apartments - Misleading about Parking/WiFi”
Our apartment at Villa Montmartre was very comfortable. It had a kitchenette which was perfect for us, as we preferred to eat in and prepare packed lunches as Paris can be pricey. There are 2 metro stations within 5 minutes walk of hotel. The hotel have put misleading information about Parking facilities and highspeed wifi, which is a shame because we chose this hotel over others because Parking and Wifi were important to us as we were on a campervanning holiday. There is Wifi on the ground floor (very fast) but you can't access from the bedrooms, which means you have to go downstairs with your device and sit at a desk, an area which is inaccessible after 22:00/23:00 whenever the reception closes. On arrival, we asked about the parking facilities mentioned on the Agoda website, but were told that certain streets in the area had free parking in the month of August (we had to park several streets away and were lucky to get parked). The other option that the receptionist gave was a carpark a few blocks away which cost about 35 Euros per day, and he even had pre-printed out maps of how to get to said carpark. This is not a reasonable option for most people. We wasted several hours during our stay moving the campervan between the streets to avoid parking charges. Other than these 2 issues, I have to say that the apartment we had in the hotel was perfect, with large double bed, kitchenette, onsuite bathroom, wardrobe, and small dining area.

love at first sight !”
I would highly recommend this place. The location is excellent, especially if you take the room with a view of the Sacre Coeur ! its out of this world . Waking up every morning to this sight is awesome . Its a very comfortable apartment for three people. There are three train stations that are walking distance, so its very well connected. The super market called the Carrefour is only 3 mins walking distance. The kitchen is well equipped. The bedspreads, sheets etc are very clean , the bathroom is clean too . We were three of us , my two boys aged 22 and 15 and myself . I felt very safe . Of course but please do write to them earlier in case your flight lands after 7pm as there will be no one to open the door , so u need the codes to open the door ! or else you are stuck . ( Also if you come in late the entrance can be quite scary but actually its not , you will realize it in the morning) .The staff is very helpful too. I shall certainly stay here again.

Great Service, good but basic rooms, careful of the area.”
We had a great stay here; the staff are friendly, helpful. You are very close to Montmartre and close to the subway station. However, the area is not great. I had my wallet pickpocketed at the subway station, (the subway staff and police do nothing to help, but the hotel staff are a great help) We also witnessed a massive fight in one of the restaurants nearby where a police riot van was called. Be very careful when out at night near this area.

Perfect centrally located aparthotel in Paris”
I only stayed one night in transit, but I would definitely stay here again. The room had a dining area, modern kitchenette and good sized shower. Near Montmartre and Sacre Coeur, bars and bistros all around. Excellent restaurant, Marguerite right next door.

Good place to stay IF you're OK with neighborhood”
We had a large room with kitchenette and separate sitting area. Everything was fairly basic but quite clean; a maid changed towels and cleaned up daily. Heat worked well but there is no air conditioning and that could be a problem in the summer. Bathroom was small but adequate; ditto for separate toilet. Kitchen was sparsely equipped and would benefit from a sharp knife, a tea strainer, and a defrosted freezer compartment in the fridge. Lighting in the sitting area was poor -- a single floor lamp with a small bulb. Staff were available from 8:30 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. and were helpful and responsive. The location of the villa puts it on the border between upscale Montmartre and the downscale area around the Chateau Rouge Metro stop. If you're willing to put up with some noise, a lot of trash on the streets, and 9 hairdressing shops on a single block (all catering to black patrons), the villa is a reasonable place to stay. My wife and I are 69 and 71 and we felt we're getting a little old for such an area; younger folks might be more forgiving and flexible. We stayed in this area because of its proximity to where our daughter is living while she pursues her French studies.

We had such a nice stay”
I stayed at Villa Montmartre with my 4 years old son and we are satisfied with the location of the hotel and there is an elevator. The person at the reception desk was nice but she was also busy with her friend.

Clean, value for money, large apartment”
This apartment is great value for money considering the amount of space you get for the price you pay. If I were to choose a budget hotel on the Champs Elysees I would have paid twice the price for 1/2 the space. The apartment is cleaned daily and the bed is super comfy. The apartment can easily fit 2 to 3 people. There is a small but functional elevator and strong wifi in the rooms and in the common areas. The downside is that the reception is only operational for check-in from 2.30pm to 9.30pm. I was not affected by this timing, but I had to help a gentleman and his family into the hotel and call for the caretaker at almost 11pm. Perhaps they should make that portion clear on the Agoda page. Overall, I loved my stay at this apartment and I would stay here again.

Tired”
Only interaction with staff was check in. Foyer closed 2000-0830 so no real opportunity to interact. Facilities are somewhat “tired” with wall damage in room and hallways. Location was good for Montmartre activities. Metro about 2 blocks away.

We loved our stay! All the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Great location near buses and metro. Supermarkets, restaurants and bars all very close by. Great idea, not so great execution”
Villa Montmarte is like an interesting face that just missed being beautiful. It has so much potential, but it doesn't quite live up to it. The location in Montmarte is convenient to public transportation, bars, and other points of interest, but the accommodations could use some upgrades. I had a single studio, and it had all of the necessary amenities for a great stay in Paris, but I was ultimately disappointed. The accommodations could use a bit more polish, better lighting (several bulbs were blown and waiting to be replaced), WiFi that doesn't require regular sign-ins, a fresh coat of paint, and just a bit more attention to presentation. The two women who work at reception couldn't be nicer, but the one who checked me in kept asking if I spoke French, which I found to be unacceptable. She works in a hotel in a world-class city and should therefore have at least enough English to allow for a smooth check-in and to tend to any problems that may arise.

Value for money ”
Value for money when your travel in expensive Paris city and specially you got the kitchen to cook . It is really good for those have a long holiday , you will miss your food and saving much money spending in restaurant.

Good location, clean room and reasonable price ”
The hotel room comes with kitchen like a service apartment. It is close the Metro and train station by the district is not as good as those in the city center. A lot of rubbish and street sales and need to pay attention to pocket lifting in the nearby train station. No lift to the metro station from ground so that we have to take a taxi to the RER train station. The hotel itself is good and nearby got a lot of restaurant and bars as well super market. Also just besides to Basilique du Sacré Cœur

Great location”
Compact room but everything we needed. Tiny shower might be a bit small for some. Lift only took one or two at a time. Definitely quirky, but overall the place was really good. Top location and good value for money
