Value for Comfort”

For me, i have a nice stay at Boracay, eventually I am not gunning a 5 star hotel or such fancy accommodation, Villa Romero de Boracay give me a place to stay in. We are 6 in a room, not to big but enough to stay and recharge from the exhausting activities. Location, is i think good as well, I feel comfy in the room, no noise coming from the outside (or maybe I was too asleep that time), a little creepy pathway due to under construction buildings around but again a little walk and your out on the white beach path of station 3. A little more walk and your on the busy crowded area of station 2. They have 2 rooms that can accommodate 6 people, so if your in groups, then you could stay here. I will definitely be back to Villa Romero...

Feeling like home at the Villa Romero De Boracay H”

First - Accommodating staff. Second - Good service. Third - cheaper but offers good place to stay.

I'm happy that I chose to stay at Villa Romero De Boracay Hotel for my two days vacation. I arrived 10 hrs earlier to my expected check in schedule but still they accepted and offers me a good room. The staff let me talked to their manager about the sudden changed of my schedule and was so grateful that the manager was very understanding to adjust my check in and out schedule without adding a charge. The hotel offers good service at all. Thanks to the owner, manager and staff for welcoming me into your cool place.

very amazing!”

friendly staff, clean and affordable

Our stay in this hotel is really amazing! i was astonished to the friendliness of all the staffs of this hotel. They really accommodating and very considerate. The hotel is complete with hot and cold shower. Clean room. Although, the flush of the comfort room may need to be fixed. Nevertheless, Villa Romero de Boracay is such a quiet place, where you can take a rest after all the activities in the beach. The Manager and all their staffs are really friendly!!!i am amazed with their kindness.

Great place to stay!”

free drinking water hot and cold, bathroom with heater, few steps to/from beach, affordable rates

i highly recommend villa romero specially if you're looking for a nice and affordable place to stay during your vacay in boracay. staffs are friendly. we stayed here for 3d/2n feb 12-14, 2012 .. i availed 2 standard room via agoda. i emailed them for the assurance of my booking and also if i could add extra bed because we are 5 persons. they said that standard room is good for 2 persons only and cannot add extra bed because room is just enough for 1 double bed. they do some arrangements upon our arrival. when we arrived they ask me to choose which room we would like to stay. so we choose the room d for standard room. it was nice the room has tv, 1 double bed, nice bathroom with hot and cold, and with balcony. then they give the room 1 which can accommodate up to 4 persons it has 2 double bed, tv, ref, balcony and hot and cold shower and toilet .. so they upgrade my booking since we're 3. the published rate for quad sharing room is room/night but ate gave it to me room/night. i just add upon check out from my original price in agoda. they also have free hot and cold water at the corridor. it nice coz we could save money instead of buying drinking water or order coffee from the resto. villa romero has a nice location just a few steps to/from the beach .. thumbs ups for this place .. i'll definitely go back to boracay and stay at villa romero. more power!

Best choice of accommodation in Station 3”

Very close to beach only 1 mins walk. The staff are super helpful and room are very clean. Very reasonable price for airport pickup.

That was my second time stay at the Villa Romero. I stayed there in 2012 and this year I try to find out another place to stay in S3 but finally we moved back to VR. It was because VR customer service and the cleanliness of room is better than all other in S3 in the same ranking. Frankly speaking, as a second times traveller to Boracay, I compare more than 20 hotels before I made my decision to stay again at VR. There are two benefit that must be mentioned among all other advantages in VR. First, it provides unlimited free hot and ice water free of charge-- this save you a lot of money and trouble for drinking water. Second, the road leads to the beach (only one mins walk) will never flood-- which is very very important as many hotels are located on a floods road.

Nice and clean hotel”

affordable rooms

I stayed there during the Boracay off-season, which meant there were an abundance of hotels available. I found Villa Romero to be highly rated on TripAdvisor and so booked a Standard room with them as I was traveling alone. The hotel is located in Station 3, which I've heard might be a better location during the peak season as it is quieter there at night but a 10 minute walk from Station 2 where the majority of restaurants are. The hotel is also not located on the beachfront itself, but a 10-20 metre walk along an alley. The staff were very friendly, often asking how was my day when I got back to the hotel at night. There were a couple of times that they helped me to book tours with a snorkeling company as well as a motorized tricycle for a land tour too. One downside though was that the towels provided by the hotel were kinda old and worn out.

it was comfy”

it smelled good. comfortable and wallet friendly

im not much of a picky person but i appreciate the quality of the hotel in terms of price. we stayed there for 1000/night me and my boyfriend. it was very comfortable and the hotel smelled good because of the laundry area located in the hotel. the bed sheets smelled good. the good sides are it was comfy, friendly staff, clean halls with free water purifier outside so when you get thirsty just refill you bottle there, it is very near the beach will only take you 20 seconds to reach the beach of station 3. it was quiet and all standard rooms have balconies which is my fave because you can smoke eat and chill there. the aircon was working great, there is massage and resto downstairs which also sells vegan foods. it is also easy to locate just tell the driver and they will lead you there. i have not used the net so i wouldnt know of it works well. the bad side would be: the heater was functioning well but its ok because it is hot outside, there were no room service to clean your room but i guess you have to request for that anyway the staffs are friendly so maybe thats not a bit of a problem. there was no tabo and balde or a pale but def you can request. the shower was working but in a moderate so when you are in a real hurry you cant wash everything because the waterin the shower wont go fast. the remote control of the television was not working so you need to stand up to change the channel but prob need to request also. they did provided us 2 towels a roll of tissue paper soap and tooth brush. the towels are the same unless you request. it is also far from shopping malls but no wories fare for tricycle is 10pesos / person going to station 1 or 2. anyway walking is best paet of boracay! like i said im not that picky. all in all it was a great and memorable stay. it was comfortable and fits the budget. dont expect toomuch for a budget hotel. thats why its a BUDGET HOTEL

Great Experience”

Superb Customer Service

I love my 3 night - 4 day stay at Villa Romero. The place is really cozy and has a homey feeling. The rooms are clean and beds are big enough to accommodate more than as intended. The staff were also very nice and accommodating. There was even an error with the hotel booking but the staff did not dwell much on it and readily offered us a new room to compensate with what happened. They're quick to meet customers need and you can feel their urgency to help you right away. The location of the hotel is a bit far from station 2 but like me who loves to enjoy long walks, it was perfect. Everything is accessible since there are 'pasalubong' stores just in front of the hotel and a convenience store at the side. You can even cook your own meals since there are 2 kitchens available upstairs and downstairs. I will definitely go back to Villa Romero and recommend it to friends. See you summer!

very near the beach (station 3) and very friendly and helpful staff.

i really like this place not only because the hotel is affordable but the reception staff (especially a receptionist named glaida)and housekeeping staffs are very friendly and serves you with a smile. also the hotel is just a 2-3 minutes walk to the beachfront (station 3)and the rest of boracay from beach of station 1 and 2 are reachable by a tricycle. the hotel also allows you to use their utensils and kitchen to heat your food. the place is also nearby stores to buy your shirts, souvenirs, etc. at cheaper price plus the talipapa is very close. all in all, i highly recommend this place to my friends. truly i appreciate the staff (filipinos)for providing their good service. we will check-in in this place again someday. thanks.

Pros: Location ✓ Accomodating Staff ✓ Price of hotel (cheap) ✓ Room accommodation ✓ room was good though. There's free water in the hallway to drink. Hehe which is good. ☺️☺️☺️☺️☺️ Cons: They are not checking the room if all are functioning well before their guest checked in. We still need to transfer 4x with different rooms before we finally settled down. 1st 2 rooms - TV's aren't working, 3rd - shower is not working. But overall stay in Villa Romero was pretty good. Location and Staff

We sayed here for 3 nights in October, firstly we booked a standard room, which was small but had everything you needed. We were then moved to a family room for the same price (PHP1000) which was huge (3x double beds) with balcony. The staff were very helpful and always smiling. Best priced accommodation we found in Boracay.

We did not had a hard time locating the hotel since the trike drivers know where the hotel is. The hotel is located in Station 3 and just a few steps away from the beachfront which makes it a very good place to stay if you want to enjoy the beach without the crowd.

My family extended our stay at Villa Romero for 2 more nights, the room good for 12 pax was just right for us, budget-wise and space consideration. The room is clean and they do housekeeping after your 1st night of stay, water in the toilet fine and they provide drinking water at the hallway. They also have a dining area where you can also cook your own food which is a best way to do to save on food expenses for a big group such as ours. Overall, my family had a wonderful stay at this hotel and a memorable Boracay experience. I recommend this hotel for those who are travelling as a group.

If u want to enjoy boracay on a budget, i am definitely recommending villa de romero hotel.

With all the great reviews about Villa Romero I thought it was a sure bet staying @ this hotel. This was a big mistake. Upon checking in @12noon presenting the Agoda hotel voucher the front staff said the room wasn't ready but they put the luggage in their office and was told to come back @ 1p.m.. Went out to lunch with my girlfriend and returned to VIlla Romero. I booked a Deluxe room and they put us in a tiny Standard room on the 3rd floor. I went back downstairs to complain the room was to small and their website advertises deluxe rooms with balcony so they transfer us to a bigger room with balcony on 2nd floor. The room quality is very dated @ best. Hotels in Boracay are very over priced compared to the rest of the Philippines. We'll be spending our future vacations in Cebu where @ the same price we will be getting alot better quality hotel with free breakfast buffet, rooftop pool, and night life.
