Peace, tranquility and beauty”
Villa Saraswati is a large villa with 5 good size bedrooms, most with indoor and outdoor showers, and baths. It is incredibly comfortable. The rooms surround a lovely pool, which though not huge is big enough too get plenty of exercise if thats what you want. The staff are wonderful and so are the owners. It's close to the township of Ubud, and to ricefields and the river Campunha. We had a marvellous stay.

Tranquil oasis outside of Ubud”
We checked into Villa Saraswati after a long hot day spent in downtown Ubud. Our driver had a difficult time finding the property (there are other hotels in the area named Saraswati) so I googled the address and we got there with no problem. The villa is private and quiet and exceptionally clean. Staff are very courteous. We stayed in the Venna suite which is just off the pool and has an outdoor shower. The room was impeccable with a huge walk in closet and even larger bathroom. It has both a large indoor shower and an outdoor shower for the more adventurous. They offer what the call snacks here but the food was more like an entire meal. Sitting at the dining room table just off the kitchen, the smells were heavenly. Food was delicious and we enjoyed meeting other vacationers over a meal at the dining room table.

Must stay boutique hotel”
I travel frequently and so have become quite picky. I absolutely love this place. It's a small Villa with five rooms, a nice pool, and located in a small village of 700 people. It's nice because it's away from the hustle and bustle of Ubud. You get the nice homey feel and can walk around the village to see how the Balinese live. The owner and her husband stopped by every day to see how everyone is doing. The staff is superb and attend to your every need with big smiles. I had a midnight flight and the owner allowed me to stay in my room because it wasn't booked for the next night. It is definitely an experience to stay here.

Magic PLace”
Magic Place, very traditional, as good as a resort but much more intimate.. Beautiful surroundings and lovely pool area. Communal dining, so great for meeting others and fantastic breakfasts. Staff were wonderful and couldn't do enough for us. We were unwell for a couple of days and they looked after us so well and made us special "get well" tea. Would we stay here again? Most definitely.

Fantastic stay”
This place was exactly what we needed. The villa itself and the rooms are beautiful, the breakfast was lovely and all the staff were helpful and friendly. Whilst it is a bit out of Ubud centre, this actually makes for a more peaceful stay and the shuttles offered into the town centre means it never feels like an inconvenience. Would highly recommend staying here!!

Elegant Villa In Ubud that should please descriminating tastes”
This is an elegant Villa about 10 minutes drive from central Ubud village. The staff are simply marvellous and so the rooms and facilities. The swimming pool is lovely and crystal clean. Excellent breakfasts in the morning, and meals can be ordered at the Villa during the day. There is a shuttle service twice a day to the Royal Palace in the village. A lovely place to stay.Highly recommended.

Beatiful place, helpful staff”
Breakfast, room design, pool
Our room was fist Frangipani, which is a nice room, next to the swimming pool. Room is tastefully decorated, confortable, garden is beautiful, room just open to the 16m wminning pool. We were upgraded to Veena room, which is more spaceous, has big bathroom, nice outdoor shower, walk in closet, next to the pool as well. Only 6 rooms in the hotel, big, nice common areas, makes the place very confortable. Good breakfast, select the indonesian breakfast, it is very tasty. We learnt how to cook banana pancake, which was delicious. Staff is very helpful. We enjoyed the Afternoon ginger-lemongrass tea. Airport pick up is good, fairly priced. Currently village build a new temple next door, which makes some noise during the day, so I would suggest to take this hotel and during the day go to see Ubud, rice paddy walk, bird park, Goa Gayah, lots of things to do arounk and enjoy the pool after 17:00 when the temple building workers has gone. Really nice place, value for money, part of Ubud's paradise. Thanks for their hospitality.
