I like the place very much, especially the "tambayan" area at the middle where you can chat along with other guests. Aside from that, it is very near to cloud 9. And the best of all, you have nothing to worry about the toilets.They have plenty with a high pressure of water!!! And of course,not to forget the swedish owner.He was soooooooo niiiiiiice!!! Definitely, I will stay here again when i come back..Hopefully by next year 😍😊

Me and friends really enjoyed our stay here in Villa Solaria. Very accomodating staff specially the owner Paul. Location is just 10mins walk to the famous surfing spot Cloud 9. Will go back here soon.

Perfect place for groupies, families or solo travelers. We got to nipa hut type since we're 3. You can actually stretch in 4-5 pax with this type of room. This is okay except that it runs out of water at night til 6am. Make sure to do your thing before the water shortage. The location is perfect, close to all restos and to the beach. Scooter is not a problem, there are roaming guys who will offer you their bikes for rent. Will surely come back soon. Went here during a marathon. The activity is just fine, its just that Runrio lacks photographers and we didnt even see a single photo of us or the event itself. Also, the marathon starts too late, we struggle with too much heat. Other than that, the campaign to use our own water bottle is great! Too organized, a lot of men in uniform secured the event.

Area is near cloud 09. Guests can rent motorcycles on the resort directly at a reasonable price. They have kindly arranged pick up from airport with the tourist van, and back. Staff were accommodating. Only downside is that debris from the ceiling kept falling on the bed and one night, a cockroach fell on me.

Receptionist did not give me 1st floor of a bunk bed which i request while booking he put me on top right next to the one of my dorm mate that SNORES so F* loud like a cow. Floors are noisy of course made by woods every time dorm mates pass by my bed it felt like there’s an earthquake or an elephant step while sleeping. Lockers right in the middle of walk way when getting stuffs u are blocking da way. Was not able to change room coz of the receptionist was not being so helpful. Other dorm mates loves to talk behind ur back apparently they come home drunk to crash w/ out knowing they hit on u while u are in a hammock or in a launch chair trying to get some sleep. Over all, Loves da ambiance of this place and it fit on my budget but not coming back

Pros:Location is good , Staff is good Cons: No fresh water , water for shower is salt water . Most of the time no water,with cockroaches, my nephew dry bag was chewed by rats, linens not been change for our 6 days stay and garbage not empty everyday

The staff is really courteous and accommodating. However, The facilities need some TLC especially with their plumbing and water situation. They are starting to upgrade their air conditioning units and it worked fine in our cottage. The bathroom needs some upgrading and they need to sort out their water supply in the rooms. In the future when all these are taken cared of, I may be able to recommend this to my friends.

I loved the place, it was convenient (near cloud 9), however, the water supply has been a real headache. Their pets also roam around freely, which has become a headache, pets rumages through trash bins and make a mess overnight. The management was kind to hear our thoughts though.

AC is not working due to low voltage(as they said) so they provided us with a fan but its not working well either.its a native villa room but very hot.the common room is unclean.They will let you take off ur slippers while on the common area but the floor is disgusting! After 3 nights of stay they clean up our room and provided us a very old towel that looks like a rugs. Staffs are ok so far!

My group came from new zealand, dubai and batangas just to see siargao. But villa solaria failed us. Not recommended to all..
