The most beautiful area in Mexico City”

Our hosts were so warm and lovely, and they celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary while we were there!
Lots of hot water in the shower, rare for Mexico, but temperature was hard to control.

This is a beautiful place to stay in the centre of old Coyoacan . The rooms are very comfortable. You can also sit outside in the garden. The owners are very hospitable and helpful. I would definitely come back again.

Awesome BnB with old world charm run by even more awesome hosts.”

This is a B'nB. The couple that own the property are wonderful hosts. You are basically renting a bedroom in their condo. Very helpful and attentive. Simply beautiful people. James, the owner even gave me one of his water colours as a gift when I left. The room is spacious and beautiful decorated in classical old world charm. WiFi was perfect. Bathroom, etc. perfect. Linen and bed very comfortable. No A/C but the windows open and their is a fan. Also a desk to work at. Just a couple of minutes to the main square/church. Yet a quiet peaceful room with great atmosphere.
The only thing you should be aware of is that the hosts have to let you in and out of the property. Although, you have a key to your room, you won't have one to the street entrance to the building itself. That means you have to co-ordinate with the owners every time you leave or come back. They will give you a WhatsApp # to communicate with but keep in mind they have to be home to let you in or out. This was not a problem for me, but for others, it could be an issue. They are so nice though, it didn't really bother me at all.

Like Staying with Family”

Staying at Villas Sol y Luna is like staying with family; in fact, the room is part of a family home. Claudia and Jaime are very attentive hosts who go out of their way to help with the little things that occur when traveling. They make it a memorable stay! The room and property are lovely, clean, and comfortable. I really appreciated the large closet for storage.
As others have noted, guests do not receive a room key-you have to ring to be let in but I was always attended to quickly. There is a neighbor's dog that likes to bark in the middle of the night for a minute, though it is not terribly loud.
