Good night rest & prompt email replies”
We were happy with our 1-night stay at Vilu Rest Hotel. Upon arrival at the airport, Ms. Jenny, Vilu Rest Front desk staff, was already waiting for us at the arrival hall when our flight landed at around 8.30 p.m. Ms. Jenny was very warm and welcoming, and was always prompt in replying my emails requesting for airport transfer prior to our trip. The double room is exactly like what is shown in the Agoda pictures. Clean & good for a transit stay before we head to the resort the following day. We enjoyed their Maldivian breakfast (choose either continental or Maldivian), tasty and enough for us to start the day! The airport transfer driver was a jovial looking man who was eager to help us with our luggage. Our double room has a partial sea view, it is not right at the beach but it is more than good enough for a good night rest.

We have some issue with another resort missed booking for our seaplane for one of the traveler. Vilu Rest staff tried so hard to help us get everything well arrange and all of us get to board the seaplane happily. Thank you so much.

Just nice to stay for layover Male ”
The stuff here are very friendly. They will assist you for your next resort to be check in by personally called the resort you have booked , also to ensure that your transport has been arrange accordingly . This is plus mark for those who will travel by seaplane or speedboat to your next day resort as in i was kind of worry is my seaplane ticket are booked accordingly , this hotel stuff is ensuring i got my ticket booked. Another must to mention is , the driver is actually the OWNER of the resort. His humbleness has give us a warm welcome to Male , and he is doing the loading and unloading our luggage from the car without any assistance. Wonderful down to earth owner and showing us the warmest Maldivian.

This place is awesome for a short stay, very close to the beach with excellent views from the room. Staff are brilliant, eager to help. Airport transfer is included so it is a good place to stay a night if you arrive late at Male.

Very friendly owner & staffs and close to airport”
THis hotel located very near to Male airport, about 5min car drive. The hotel owner & the staffs are very friendly and provide very good services from airport pick up, bring up our luggage to our room, bring and show us where to find supermarket, serve simple but nice Maldivian breakfast! They also provide airport drop off by charging USD10 per car. Suitable as an overnight transit hotel.

Mid-range value hotel”
Booked two rooms here for the family. It's an ideal transit hotel and away from the hustle & bustle of Male. It's a good location, on the beach with plenty of cafes nearby. Unfortunately, the beach is covered in plastic. There is also a lot of building work going on so there is a bit of noise but only during the day. As a transit, I would definitely stay again, the staff are really helpful and the beds comfortable.

Convenient, comfortable and reasonably priced hotel”
nice small hotel located very near to beachfront. 15-30mins public bus travel from the airport. Nice staff, free breakfast set (Maldivian or Continental), clean and hotel-type room. The room may look a bit small and packed but the design is good. The view from the room is great too. Elevator is installed so it is convenient for visitors having big luggage.

The best part is services of the stuff., even help me to look after my children when we are having our breakfast . Nearby got at least 3 groceries shops & 1 big supermarket that we can buy most of the things needed. Bus stop is around 10 minutes walk which we can take the bus to the hulhumale ferry terminal to Male city at MVR 3/person. Local food restaurant just behind the hotel and down the street there is a Shell Bean that make great pizza.

Clean but very small”
Pros: Clean hotel, friendly staffs, good location. Good airport pick and drop service. Breakfast is very basic. Cons: Very small rooms. If you have large bags, difficult to walk around the room. Over all nice place for one night before you head for your island resorts.

Great place in Hulhumale!”
The owner and staff were accommodating. They were able to help us going around the island and arranged with our hotel the next day... the owner even ushered us through his motorcycle to check the island. Aside from the airport pick up, the breakfast is good!

Hotel located not far from airport but the 5 usd/pax charge for the pick up is quite expensive while u can book taxi with fixed price of 3 usd per taxi anywhere in Hulhumale. Room is clean but the bedsheet is coarse with fur, not convenient to sleep. We do ask for the transport to Male city through highway and the hotel charge very expensive for 10 usd per person for us, 4 adults while u can book taxi for 100 rufiya for all of us with the kids. Hotel said taxi is not available but we can easily hail the taxi outside the hotel. Dont easily listen to them for the transportation cost.

Great overnight hotel”
I am a female solo traveler and the staff arranged the airport shuttle for a very reasonable cost and were great helping me get settled for the night. They were very accommodating with good breakfast and great follow through on helping me connect to my next hotel. I'll stay here again my next trip.
