Brilliant hotel, excellant service.”
We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights, we were a bit concerned we'd be able to hear the noise from the street but we couldn't hear anything. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The free breakfast was also nice. Overall really good value for money, we'd definitely go back.
A bad hotel with a passive service”
This is a very passive hotel with no service at all. You have to ask for the staff to provide you the basic service and they always seem reluctant. The air con is not working and the room is old and have that musty feel. They are only after the guest's money and the service ends at the moment the guests are booked. I noticed that most buses stopped at this hotel to disembark guests. I suppose this hotel has a tie up with these bus companies so that guests who do not have prior booking can book at them conveniently.
not really that nice.”
to be honest, it was not really the best place that we have stayed in vietnam. it was pretty dirty, the beds/sheets were old and looked like they had not been changed before we had arrived. smelt of damp. noisey. we have stayed in some amazing places in vietnam for cheaper. it is in quite a nice area, hoi an is amazing place to visit but i would stay somewhere else. also the owner lady is really pushy!! we ended up trying to sneak out the hotel without her seeing us everytime.
The hotel was very nice, even though i arrived way before check-in, i could already enter the room. The staff was friendly; it was very close to the center and it had a swimming pool. Overall, great quality for that price.
Lovely hotel and service with a smile”
Location is not that far Hoi An ancient city only 10 min walk and if you can rent a cycle the it is only 2 min. The rooms are clean and worth the money that you are paying. But becareful of the extra services like tour and bus ticket which the hotel staff who is anxious to provide. I feel if you shop around the many booking offices around the hotel, you can get cheaper price.
Great hotel and good service.”
the staff here were very friendly and helpful with quite good english. breakfast was awesome. the rooms were very nice and clean. our room had 2 windows with interesting views. i would definately stay here again and would recommend it to anyone who wants a good value for money hotel.
Not honest - room photos don't belong to them”
I have never stayed in a hotel with so much to complain, certainly the worst value-for-money room in Hoi An. We booked for 2 rooms for 2 nights: 1)The rooms are very small and worn out. No table or chair to put your belongs. Only 1 bedside table but placed with their electrical plugs and points, strangely. Part of the bed actually block part of the small window. 2)Air-condition is not cold or airy. I complaine dht e next morning. They promised us it will be repaired when we are back by night but it's the same. When we complain the second morning, the staff said she checked and find the air-cond very cold. 3)Told us that we can use the computers until 10 pm but when we are back my 9.40pm, all lights are off and pc closed. The watchman don't allow us to use it. 4)The staffs care for nothing but pushing us to join their tours or book their car when they see us. 5)It's min 15 mins walk to town center and not 7 mis as the staff claim.
Good hotel for value”
This was my second time in this hotel, I was there 8 months ago, now of is. More busy than last time , more traffic in arrival and departure. The staff was more friendly last time, now it is more orientated to business. Every evening, the bar next door play loud music, but stop by 9:00 Pm. In the overall it is good for the price.
Comfortable hotel,friendly and helpfull”
We had a very nice stay in thit hotel during our time in Hoi an. Breakfast each morning tasted good and the service in the hotel was friendly. The hotel is situated a few minutes walk from the old town and I wouldn't consider it as being central, but it isn't that far and with a rented bicycle even easier. overall we had a very pleasant stay !
Great hotel, location and service.”
Stayed at the hotel for eight nights and found it more than satisfactory. Had a large room with a balcony which was great and the room was serviced everyday. Its only a 5-10 minute walk from the main part of town but there are enough eating options if you want to eat close buy.It can be a little noisy at night as a popular hangout for the locals a few doors down play quite loud music till about midnight but otherwise its fine.Staff are friendly and accommadating and offer good advice on the local area.Would definately recommend.
Good Hotel for the Money”
Hotel is 2 blocks from local bus station where you land coming from Hoi an. You can rent a motorbike across the street for 80,000 dong. Ladies at front desk will sell you anything and everything.
Hotel for improvement”
No information much from hotel to provide for customer, we need to help ourself for data needed. No accessaries for having a shower, It is very noisy because we cab hear the sound from outside or the other rooms. The best thing is just near the An Bang beach which could ride the bicycle to visit easily.
Should be advertised as a backpacker's guesthouse”
This was pretty much a dive. No bugs or anything (at least in my room), but the one night I stayed there was plenty. I'd pay a dollar or two more to stay any number of other places in the surrounding area. The pool is a joke, and I believe it was rated a 2 or 3 star hotel on Agoda. Hardly.
Our stay was very good, didn't had wifi in room and internet from the computers downstairs was really slow, cleanliness was ok for the hotel, I mean don't expect much from Vietnam hotels. Pool ok, cold but ok, still could swim. Friendly staff and very easy to get to the city centre. The only thing was that when we checked out we had to leave our things in the pathway where all people walk to get in and out of the hotel, cause we had a tour before leaving in the afternoon and they didn't have another place to leave the luggage.
Air-conditional is very bad, you have to ask hotel staff to turn it on at reception area. Hotel staff asked you check-out before 11PM without notice when check-in. Room is dirty, small and no facility like toothbrush, comb. TV is suck, just for decoration.
Was a standard quality stay, bit annoyed when we first arrived as we missed our first night, but they had given the room away and even though we had paid, we had to wait over an hour to check in. We were also given the wrong time that the bus would pick us up and ended up with 5 mins to get up and pack our things before the bus arrived.
Informative staff close to bus stop”
It was a pleasant stay. The owner will do anything for you. Will book any tour, bus etc that you want.Bicyles across the road can be rented for $1 per day. Quick check in. Rooms done daily, Quiet area but a little to far away from riverfront. Rooms could be cleaned alot better than they were. In door pool looks clean but i did not swim in it.
I would not recommend this Hotel to anyone. On arrival we were shown to a room on the 4th floor. It was dirty, smelly and very small. Bed linen was dirty, no top sheet. Ceiling looked like it had been walked all over and bathroom disgusting, would not let my dog sleep here. We asked to be moved and were put in a room marginally better, (Tongue in cheek) Second room electrics were were in a dangerous state, fridge was black & moldy, linen in the same state as first room.. TV did not work properly. AC was intermittent - found out later Reception have a master switch and turn it off on a regular basis When we queried this we were told we must have gone out and left it on - we had not been out. The pool here is the best feature. Staff appeared to be very nice and attentive - but like scorpions have a sting in their tails. Place in need of a total revamp and good management. Photo's do not reflect actual rooms. Several guests had the same complaints as us and moved Hotels as we did.
Decent location, good but basic”
Friendly staff were very helpful with things like laundry, organising tours and arranging a transfer for an inconveniently early airport transfer. The rooms were very well priced, especially because we were sharing in threes. The pool was a wee bit scary looking and cold but proved a good place to spend an afternoon being silly and relaxing.
Great service but bathrooms were a bit dirty”
Had a nice stay here, the girls behind the front desk were helpful and charming. The hotel is in a great location, just 10 minutes from the restaurants and bars in the center of old town Hoi An. I would definitely recommend staying here is you like cheap and cheerful accomodation in a great location. Also i would recommend hiring mopeds from the area as i only paid $4 for the whole day!
