Travel for Wedding Pictures Taking”
My sister with her spouse come to take the wedding pictures from Ho Chi Minh City. I already do book via the Agoda and receive the confirmation. Her group comes to the Vinh Hy Resort in the middle of night ~ 10:30 pm. When they comes, and gives the confirmation letter to the staffs. The staffs refuse to let her group to have a rest. They says that they do not work with Agoda anymore. I have to call them and asks them I have the confirmation letter, and if you do not let us have the stage we will live-stream on Facebook and inform to the Tourist Department of the province. So, they agree and let my sister with her group be stayed.

A gem in a surprising spot”
We took a chance and came over the unfinished road from Phan Rang (a $25 taxi ride) and discovered a tucked away Vietnamese fishing village with this almost new accommodation right on the edge of the bay. The room is very adequate with a good closet, firm bed (a double), windows a bathtub and lots of hot water. Sometimes the power goes out but this has not bee a problem. Internet is good. There are very few guest here so we have elected to stay for a week, as this is the quietest spot with the cleanest air we have yet to find in Vietnam. The staff is friendly and helpful, and, once they got the hang of our food needs (strict vegetarian), have fed us very well. We appreciate this and may stay even longer. This is a perfect spot to just chill as there is not much going on.

Value for money”
It's not an excellent resort compared to other ones in Vietnam but in consideration of cheap price, it's totally a good choice. The room is quite nice and well equipped, clean and tidy. There is a small water park and a sea-view swimming pool. The resort also offers glass bottom boats to see coral reefs and floating restaurant with variety of seafood. The food here is quite delicious and diversified and the price is reasonable. The only thing I don't like is the water in our room which has the chlorine smell like in a swimming pool.

the best advice about the vinh hy resort is not to go. in april 2014 this hotel is not finished and far from ready to properly accept guests. the bungalows are pleasant and brand new and the staff are also pleasant but that's about it. the problems we experienced were: 1) the staff have limited english which leads to confusion when asking for things 2) the electricity was constantly going off due to work in progress and we were never informed when it would be off or back on 3) work was taking place right next to the eating area including grinding, arc welding with no shielding, digging, concrete mixers etc 4) when the meals are served everything comes at different times and sometimes not at all 5) the road to the resort is poor and non-existant in places 6) half of the resort is not finished 7) the television channels are all asian programmes. this is no good for western guests 8) staff and workers make noise very early in the morning. tourists do not want this when on holiday 9) one morning the kitchen ran out of bread.

Nice Location, no Beach”
We were staying at Vinh Hy Resort for 1 nite. This one is almost the best choice in the area, however, you cannot expect to have a beach to swim or play, and sometimes it's very smeelthy because of the canal.Swimming ppol is very dirty. It's inside of the fisherman viilage, which helps you to discover local food with very cheap price.

Quite place in the small fisherman village”
The hotel is located in the quite and beautiful bay with amazing surrounding and breathtaking beaches and jungle trails. The hotel have basic and clean rooms, with every day service. The restaurant provide very poor menu list, very specific cuisine, we had to customize our orders every time, which is always a trick as there is only few english speaking staff including manager Zen, very helpful guy.

Out of the way fishing village”
This hotel will be top class when they finish the building work. The Villagers where friendly and welcoming, I loved it there and hope to go back some day, If ypu walk up through the village and follow the mountain path (which is easy walking, if uphill) it takes you through a small village, past which is all country and small streams.
